Clean place , nicely set up, the music is good and not too loud. The staff keeps the machines in great working condition and if needed they are repaired quickly and professionally. As for the staff the cleaning crew is awesome and the front desk people are amazing. Shout out to both Desiree and Jamonte, as they are both friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended, go see for yourself!

This gym is literally a fraud. I cancelled my membership and I still get charged even though I was told cancellation was successful. Sometimes there’s random people that don’t work there pretend to work at the check in counter telling you to pay $100 to get it cancelled, that happened to me recently! Be careful with this fraud gym.

This company, this location, are CRIMINALS AND CROOKS!!!!!! They only let you cancel your membership in person (which was an inconvenience being my gym in Hoboken closed suddenly while I was out of country) and when I returned they transferred me. I dropped off the form in January to someone who claims they couldn’t find me in the system but would take care of it. They then processed my card again for another 5 months after over 20 hours of phone calls/being on hold. They have a third party payment system who is based out of country and didn’t understand the process. They then put me in collections for a gym I never went to. Don’t sign up here. Don’t give your money to Retro fitness. They should be reported to bad business bureau. Absolute scam company.

Ladies and gentlemen this is one of the greatest gyms I've ever been to. The staff customer service is above average, pretty clean, it's usually not that packed, they have all machines, including boxing bags etc, locker rooms are big and spacious, they sell shakes, protein and everything at a decent price. I'd highly recommend this this everyone.

This could be a great gym. It is big, good location and plenty of parking. It really needs to be better managed. They are always late to open and don’t even care when they show up. Equipment is not maintained, cleaned or timely fixed when broken. Weights are never re-stacked. There is always trash and water bottles on the floor. The men’s room urinal has been broken for months wrapped in plastic with an out of order sign. Tanning booth has been out of order for years with an unsatisfactory health department certificate posted on it. Obviously the owner and the manager don’t care about the member’s experience. They used to open at 5 am during the week which was great to get a workout in before work but they changed to 6 am so I got Planet Fitness membership for week days. Planet Fitness is open on time, clean, maintains equipment. Retro needs to really take a hard look at its operations. Stop investing in unnecessary new treadmills and fix your dysfunctions.
