Grow Yoga

Grow took me in amd became my home away from home, my community and so much more-- all with open arms. They provide such an welcoming, inclusive, and FUN environment for their students. I highly recommend Grow for families, too as they have classes for just about everyone in your family. Thank you for helping me create a practice that is all my own, and for helping me to find the modifications that work best for my body. Love you, Grow Yoga!

Once you take classes here, you will be sad....sad that you can't find another studio that offers the same sense of community and genuine inspiration to be the best you. I've been coming here for 2 months, every weekend I am at Brigantine. It's not just about doing yoga; it's about clearing out the negative thoughts racing in you head, encouragement to "practice" exploring where your body can go...to get stronger inside and out is the message they offer. They are a success as a family owned business because they are open hearted...tweaking and adding to the business to GROW into their best. I highly recommend them.

So this morning I figured I’d engage in an early morning hot yoga session to loosen my muscles before I hit the gym. The class is scheduled for 5:45am so of course I come early as directed so I can pay for my class fee and get a good spot in the room . I arrive in the parking lot around 5:20. I see the studio personnel enter the building, so I allow her to get settled In before I attempt to enter. At approximately 5:30am I see her sit down at the front desk and peruse through her cell phone so I decided to go in. As I approached the front door I see the close sign still on the door. I make eye contact with the lady at the desk (mind you it is profusely thundering and lightening) and I pointed to the sign but she instead looked back at her phone. I then got closer to the glass door and pointed to the class schedule (mind you I called yesterday and they informed me classes were scheduled as normal). She again looked at me out the corner of her eye and looked back at her cellphone. She did that twice before I finally decided to walk away. I feel for a business this behavior is unacceptable. It is not so egregious for a student to arrive 15 minutes before class. Even if you were busy Handling something on your phone, out of courtesy you could have at least gestured to give you a second instead of simply trying to ignore me. I have been to a few yoga studios however this was a first for me and quite honestly I am perturbed. This post is out of character for me but all in all Grow Yoga has lost a student.

I love the community aspect. Teachers & staff are welcoming. Students are friendly. The studio offers a fun, challenging experience for all yoga levels beginners to experts.

My daughter graduated from yoga school NICE,FRIENDLY, AND CLEAN STUDIO a great place to socialize and exercise.
