Strong & Shapely Gym

As a proud member of Strong and Shapely, I can confidently say this place is unmatched. The atmosphere is electric—everyone who walks through those doors is there for one reason: to get stronger. There's rarely any delay for machines or equipment, even during peak times, which is a huge plus for anyone looking to maximize their time in the gym. The vibe in this gym inspires me every day to push myself to lift heavier and go harder. It's one of those places where you feel empowered just by being there. I'm constantly recommending Strong and Shapely to others, and whenever someone tries it for a day, they immediately understand why I call it an "iron paradise." The members here are great, the atmosphere is motivating, and the intensity is contagious. If you're serious about lifting, this is the gym for you. Absolutely love it.

The parking situation leaves a lot to be desired. It’s been horrid for months and nothing has been done about it. Edit: Update. I was contacted by the owner and told about the status of the parking situation and what is being done to resolve the situation. I do enjoy the gym’s renovations, but as a paying member, there should be transparency about this through the social media of the gym itself to alert all members, both current and new. Therefore, I reserve the right to keep this review up until it is fully resolved, and would update the review, accordingly. What makes this gym special is certainly the kind gym members, employees and the old school vibes.

Gym is ok but the heat doesn’t work. Got sick right after leaving the gym. It’s sub 20 degrees out, and the owner refuses to turn the heat on. The gym use to be a old-school hardcore gym , but now it’s turned just like every public gym. I really miss the old strong and Shapley.

Great place to get a workout! Place is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful! Would absolutely recommend this gym to anyone who is serious about their physical health and wants to be surrounded by like-minded people.

I’ve been a member since January 2023 and since that moment I love this gym. I was introduced to Strong and Shapely by my personal trainer Pedro Reyes. He was persistent on helping me meet my body goals by focusing on meals and workouts. The Shapely team is always friendly, and the facility is kept to part. Paul the owner ensures he keeps the members up to date with any gym modifications and cares about our opinions/ recommendations.
