My daughter has been attending for about six months and the experience has been great. I cannot speak highly enough about Sensei and the management team. They are incredibly supportive and kind. The preparation they put into each class shows and my daughter looks forward to each session. If you are thinking about martial arts for your child, this is the place.

Our son is 3 and loves going to his class. It’s been a great way to get out his energy and helps him practice discipline, focus, and respect. Teachers are great with the kids

We stumbled upon PMA when we had some time to kill before a swim lesson. From that first moment where Coach Joel welcomed my son and me into their awesome, clean studio, we knew signing up for a month of unlimited classes was for us! This has been the best choice for us as my son has grown in so many ways. The socialization, fun, exercise, discipline, life lessons and more that Sensei John packs into a 30 minute session astound me. I’m in education and have observed dozens and dozens of adults teach. I’ve coached and played sports through college and have observed dozens of coaches. Sensei John is in a league of his own. Truly. His time management, jovial manner, kind nature, accurate adjustment of behaviors, and professionalism are unrivaled. He’s exceptional and I feel so fortunate that my son can learn and grow from such a tremendous model of a respectful, strong, focused, organized man who takes pride in his work. The way Sensei John scaffolds learning, demonstrates techniques, instills positivity and motivates is so inspiring. Just when I thought he couldn’t top himself, he ran a class where parents were involved. When I thought he couldn’t top that, he brings out new exercises and skills while breaking down the complexities of karate and captivating each child. He demands attention with grace. His values are appropriate in building morally good character. He is sensational at what he does. We were welcomed from the start and treated with flexibility, kindness, and compassion. The type of setting that makes someone feel seen, where the instructor knows each child by name, where safety is apparent - that’s the environment that Sensei John fosters. Eye contact, the ability to speak, physical fitness, pride and respect in oneself (these qualities that seem to be overlooked in today’s world) are upheld here and developed. I don’t have enough superlatives. Very grateful for your time and for opening your doors to us.

The administrative team is quite unprofessional. I was charged for an additional month due to not notifying them 30 days before the next billing cycle. However, I was never informed about this 30-day policy in the first place. When I raised this issue with them, they responded rudely, stating that there was nothing they could do about it.
