The cell phone use while using the machine as a chair is ridiculous, the staff allows it by saying nothing. People waiting and shacking theirs heads. The staff allows young kids under age to run around the gym like a pep rally while people want to train. The staff need to enforce the rules of safety and professional settings in the gym. So if your looking for a gym to workout in, not good. If you like to watch people on their cell phones and kids acting up this place is for you.

Thanks to this Y providing great services to the community at its best! Name any other fitness facility and rates are sky high but Y has kept it affordable (remember Y is non-profit!!) and this Y has made it so much friendly and family-oriented that you feel like going there with kids again! Front desk staff is very nice ..resourceful and pleasant and ready to help patrons…they even call back promptly if you couldn’t get satisfactory/complete answers to your questions (whether in person or on phone or email!) this doesn’t happen much lately at many gyms with heavy membership fees (I have been to few) Aquatics and other programs offer lot of avenues to stay fit and trainers are very good…lot of them are around for a while forming good connection with members. This Y promotes fitness in teens and young adults by providing them special hours and gentle supervision. Love that! All in all…Happy with my Y!!

Just graduated from the year-long Diabetes Prevention program at the YMCA. I recommend it to everyone who is pre-diabetic. Check it out now. A new group is forming soon!

In the last 25 years I belonged to six different YMCAs in 2 states. This Y is heads above those others and compares favorably to university gyms I have visited such as the Sonny Werblin at Rutgers and the Leach Center at FSU. Check out the web site for all amenities but I have enjoyed the rock climbing wall and the children's pool where I bring my kids. Also the onsite cafe has fabulous coffee drinks (be careful not to add back all your calories burned). Finally I love the centrifugal bathing suit dryer, haven't seen one of these since Rutgers.

Just about everything. The staff is great - very friendly and helpful. After a long hiatus, they remembered my name and face. Impressive I needed assistance with a piece of equipment that I never used. I asked a wellness staff member and they stayed with me and assisted me with the machine (flexibility test on e-gym). I am impressed with the class offerings and the skill level of the instructors. I am impressed that the Y is always looking for new ways to help the community and maintain the best wellness equipment. Kathleen B.
