This specific Planet Fitness is VERY well maintained and clean everytime I visit. The Black Card membership is currently $24/monthly. You can bring a guest and you will have access to the massage chair area. All of the machines are operational and everyone wipes their equipment after use. This location is definitely the best in the area.

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would but I’m only giving them (2) stars for the (2) employees who actually provide great customer service and welcomes members with a smile and friendly conversation. The (2) employees that I am referring to are Lyndell (I think pronounced like “Lonnell”) and there is a black female (who usually wears a scarf wrap) who works the overnight shift that has a very upbeat, pleasant attitude every time that she is there. The energy and vibe of the gym is always different when those particular staff members are there. Unfortunately, the customer service has gone downhill lately. I completed a club survey specifically detailing my concerns about some of the other overnight/early morning staff members who are very careless and inattentive yet they have not been addressed by the owner or management. This isn’t my home gym but I started going to this location once the gyms in the DMV area reopened back in June due to it being much more spacious and having a larger variety of equipment/machines(one of the perks for being a black card member is that you can visit and use the different locations in the area). However, I noticed that they don’t have a full time cleaning staff and you only see one or two employees cleaning every now and then. I do notice a difference in the women’s restroom/locker room when Lyndell is there. He actually does the cleaning when it really isn’t his responsibility whenever he is there. The facility smells better and appears much cleaner when he is there. Other than that, expect broken alcohol bottle glass and empty fast food containers all over the parking spaces (outside of the gym is FILTHY)and to see other employees who work the overnight/early morning shift not to clean at all, but spend most of their time on their cell phones or watching boxing videos on the computer. I have proof with a photo. There is also one employee ( a light complexed black male) who works the 4-5AM shift, that has a serious bad attitude and either sleeps in the side room as you enter the facility and bypass the front desk or he feels as though his cell phone is more important than him doing his job and being more attentive and alert as of who is coming in and out of the gym. The only thing that he does is refill the cleaning solution bottles. Until all of these issues get resolved, I plan not to return to this location or recommend it to anyone.

The workers there are not friendly. Attitudes. They act like they don't want to be there. Can't ask a question. Don't go there.

I should of been gave them a one star when someone stole my phone but I didn’t want to dislike my home gym based on my mishap, but as of today this gym face alot of problems, for one the rules are different base on either who is here or the relationship, I have saw kids of all ages at this gym, but today I decided to bring my son who is 11 to come to the gym to do a little running at the gym, the “Manager” states no he can’t today, he had to be 13, now when my son came before they let him, I brought my son at the time I know it’s slow plus I have a child who is 5’9 at 11 and 180lbs so I only wanted him active based on what I have witnessed here but obviously I learned this gym is not wired that way, I have had other misfortune here but today was a day I felt was unfair and I hope moving forward that the management tells everyone to be the same when he is not here. Bad business…. By the way I understand the policy but if I’m here everyday and exception would be made slight but I learned they don’t hire professional healthy employees only people that need a job! Health is wealth

Been waiting for half an hour now to use hydromassage. No one’s on the desk. Whats happening? The service here has been great so far. Until today.
