I joined the gym as a monthly challenge back in May and I fell in love with the community. The workouts are made for everyone and if you need modifications the coaches are always willing to assist. Everyone in the class is super encouraging. It’s a great place to start your fitness journey.

An excellent place to work out. I’ve been working out here for over two years. Coaches are incredibly friendly and Very knowledgeable. I always feel safe learning new skills and they’re always there to push you. The community around the gym is also very friendly.

Great CrossFit gym with knowledgeable coaches who work to accommodate everyone regardless of fitness level, but still push you. Friendly inclusive people at all fitness levels. Gym is well equipped for all free weight exercises, whether during class or on your own. So I spent about 6 months waffling on this gym. Their website was less than descriptive (since fixed) and the location, while conveniently next to the Kedzi Pink Line station, seemed a little sketchy as it’s in an old warehouse. (TLDR I thought it was a money laundering scheme). But my partner wanted to take workout classes, it’s been a long time since they worked out, so I looked around the area. This was frankly the only option without an insane price-tag attached that wasn’t just yoga. Finally went to a class, little apprehensive due to the above and bc neither of us had ever taken a workout class, and was blown away. Entering the gym through the dedicated entrance brought you to a nice sized, modern space that felt comfortable, clean, and well lit. During the class the instructor, Candace, was extremely hands on with us, making sure to go over each exercise and lift and evaluated our technique. They also found substitutions for lifts my partner couldn’t do. Repeatedly working with them individually. On the other hand I thought I was in ok shape, but I finished the class collapsed on the ground and spent the next day sore head to toe. Between adding weight to each exercise and pushing harder on the cardio, everyone will find an appropriate challenge from these classes. The benefit to my lifts has been crazy. I haven’t touched a barbell in about 6 years. And I haven’t done any legs except running. My squat in the last 5 weeks went from 105 to 215 today and my deadlifts to 275. That’s the massive difference they made by continually fixing and improving my technique, and pushing me hard, no matter what I wanted (I absolutely HATE squats). I’d never really considered paying for classes or a PT before. Never thought it’d make a real difference. Happy to say I was wrong. My partner has also enjoyed it. We have gone to 2-3 classes/wk together and there’ve been multiple days they pushed me to sign up when I wanted to slack, despite never previously having much interest in working out and 0 interest in weight lifting. Anyway I’ll stop rambling. It’s been a completely positive experience, at a very affordable price. I think they have some kind of trial for a few free classes, so if you’re in the area you should give it a try!

I’ve been going to Compound for over a year. I love the intense workouts, trainers and family feel support. The org allows me to roll out of bed and get to work, they take the thinking out of creating daily workouts

Compound fitness has been one of the most powerful game changers for me. I can’t say enough! Whether you been working out for a long time or have never been to a gym, this place is for you. Everybody is so welcoming and accommodating! Very clean and well equipped. I joined the 21day challenge and I feel great! Not only does Daniel and his staff of trainers make you feel comfortable, giving you guidance on all your movements, but ensuring your workouts are fun, challenging and never the same. Never have a problem with finding parking. I feel so much stronger and healthier since coming that I totally recommend it!
