HapKiDo training at this location has been a transformative journey, touching my heart and elevating my spirit in unexpected ways. Initially drawn by its dynamic mix of kicks, joint locks, and throws, I soon discovered that HapKiDo is more than just a martial art; it’s a holistic approach to life and a home away from home for me and my son. In each class, our instructors exemplify patience and expertise, emphasizing discipline, resilience, and mental fortitude alongside physical technique (and a good sense of humor). Their passion is infectious, inspiring us to push beyond our limits and conquer new challenges. Beyond the physical benefits, Hapkido has profoundly impacted our mental well-being. It provides a sanctuary, a place to clear our minds and center our emotions, leaving us with a sense of calm that permeates daily life. Each class ends with a feeling of accomplishment and renewal, forging a stronger, more resilient version of ourselves. I thank Master Foor, the instructors, the students, the leadership team, and the HapKido community, who have been a constant source of support. In each class, I'm reminded that we're part of something greater, a lineage of dedicated individuals united in their pursuit of learning self-defense, becoming healthier, and embracing a journey of self-mastery. HapKiDo has strengthened our bodies and ignited our spirit, teaching lessons far beyond the mat. It’s an art that whispers to the heart, reminding us of our potential for growth, balance, and inner peace. I'm eternally grateful for the journey of HapKiDo and heartily recommend Choe's HapKido Duluth to anyone seeking a profound, enriching experience.

The instructors at this location are more than instructors they are like a family. They teach discipline and structure. They reward the students when they do good and discipline them when they are not doing well such as push ups or horse stance. It takes a village to raise children and they are big part of the village. One of my grandsons is a current student and the other one will start in May. Thank you Choe’s Hap Kido for all you do.

My son has been here for almost 2 years now. And seeing the love and dedication the instructors give I also decided to join the Hapkido family. Master Foor and Instructor Avila are absolutely amazing! They are so kind and understanding and motivate the students to be the best versions of themselves! Our experience has been nothing less than perfect and I know it will continue! I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to involve your children or yourself in something worthy that teaches discipline, respect and strength! It has been in honor to know these beautiful people!

Choe's HapKiDo is truly an awesome place to practice martial arts, spend time with family, stay healthy and make new friends. The instructors truly care about the students and have incredible patience, even with the little ones! I enjoy family classes with my husband and two kids as it's such a great way for us to spend time together and work towards a common goal. Everyone is so welcoming and they make it fun, even while teaching new skills, focus and discipline. My whole family loves it!

Choe's HapKiDo is a great place for both adults and kids. The staff and instructors are absolutely wonderful and truly care about their students. They throw fun holiday events for the kids and family as well. If you're looking for a place for yourself or your child to learn martial arts, they have great promotions year round that you can try out. I decided to try this place out for my son based on past reviews and surely was not disappointed.
