I’ve been this location’s member since it opened—that’s 20 years, folks! If I did not live across the street, or if there was another ‘premier’ gym nearby, I’d move to another one—in a heartbeat—because I am used to better. However, I hope my comments will be a wake up call for LAF-WELLINGTON, and things will improve. Now. Hey! They changed all the lightbulbs in the locker rooms, recently. Now everyone can see the bugs in the light fixtures and: The facility’s dirt, lack of member ‘etiquette’ (rack-your-weights, member rudeness to others) and non-responsiveness to ‘suggestions’—like actually *doing something* about deficiencies. This is seriously lacking. The men’s locker room is the worst i’ve ever experienced anywhere—and always—despite repeated mentions to management. Nice smiles, no action. Paper towels all over, water on all surfaces, really dirty shower stalls and floors, street clothes in saunas, ‘permanent’ tenants in prime lockers 66 and 68, hair, razors and blades on the floor and on the walls above, hair dye on floors and ceilings, left clothing not removed in weeks, mold on all shower tile grout, fruit flies multiplying daily, smutz (buggers?) including dead bugs on shower walls and the shower entry floor (e.g., mop *under* that hall chair), over-dilluted soap in all dispensers (if one is actually still hanging on the wall), used tooth picks, and empty personal shampoo containers in most showers. All the time. The ‘hot-tub’ (when it works) is underheated and frequently filthy with visible scum on its rim. The drain has trash, including medical waste, in its drain for 2-3 weeks. The cleaners walk past everything—gum floor and locker areas—and do nothing. They are more likely found on cell phones in personal chat than cleaning.Despite 3x/week mentions to Managers and Front Desk personnel--nothing happens. Nothing improves beyond the ‘thank you for mentioning this…’ and zip, nada, niente. Nothing. If you have time to lean, you have time to clean. Right? Don’t get me started on members’ courtesy. It does not exist. No racking weights after use, members hogging (reserving) equipment with their bags, water bottles for some future use—thinking that no one else uses the same machines. Members using equipment as personal phone booths—texting, chatting, calling, answering calls in place and not exercising or allowing another to work in, Members using limited free weight or Smith machines for exercises that do *not* require their use (attaching bands to Smith machines when other stationery poles are available), dropping those extra-heavy weights so everyone else has a heart attack, putting bags near equipment and harassing others when questioned about availability, of having attitude when corrected about their lack of courtesy. BTW, the ‘early bros’—5 a.m. To 10 a.m. crowd, are the worst in virtually all categories. And the late-night group could be culprits. Oh, and did I mention flagrant mis-use of cell phones in the hot tub and locker room areas? Ever hear of privacy? Take your Insta pics in your own bathroom! And, yeah, we do not like your excessively loud and lewd playlist (buy some AirPods), and use your ‘inside’ voice instead of screaming your bro-insults, as we try to relax after a workout. And, what’s this about using *all* the PAPER towels from *all* the dispensers because you are too cheap to bring your own towel to wipe your sweaty body after a sauna or shower? Disgusting. Really disgusting. Not to mention that we all pay for them. I’m gonna tell your mama! She’d be very disappointed. Frankly, I would not be surprised if you will catch a disease or two here—and no one would care. Clean up your act LA Fitness! Someone had to tell you. [Dropping the mic and putting *my* AirPods in to cancel your disrespecting self.]

3 stars as more of their equipment is working compared to the other LA fitnesses around. Losing two, as the locker room is awful, smells of sewage in the shower area, mold and mildew, broken dispensers and lockers, 1 of 3 dispensers had soap at the sinks.

This gym is abysmal. The fact that they still get new members to sign up is shocking to me. The place is an absolute wreck and disgusting. Members do not re-rack weights. Very limited cleaning stations for the equipment. Equipment is rusted. When it rains hard enough outside, the water actually pours from the ceiling onto the equipment in some areas of the gym. The men's locker room is absolutely horrendous, and most of the lockers are either broken or have "permanent residents." Water damage in many areas. Always lacking paper towels. Watered down soap in the dispensers to cut costs. The gym is in a good location, and the employees have always been nice. However, I've been a member of many other gyms across the country, including other LA Fitnesses in different states. This location is one of the most horribly taken care of gyms I have ever seen of any company. Actually, quite a few of the LA Fitnesses in Palm Beach County, aside from the signature clubs, are the worst gyms I have seen in the country. I know of many people who have stopped their membership with LA because of how pathetic the gyms here are taken care of. Get rid of the managers if they aren't getting the job done or taking care of their facilities. Get rid of the regional manager since they let many of the locations in Palm Beach County get to this standard. Hopefully, LA will make changes before they lose more clients.

Imagine taking all of the worst smells inside of the bathrooms at a Coachella concert. Now condense them and amplify that smells X 10 million. That is the scent when initially walk through the front door. It only gets worse from there, from their broken equipment to their biohazard of a sauna. I would recommend wearing a full biohazard suit equipped with primary and secondary o2 supply prior to entering the from door.

Probably the worst gym I’ve ever been to. The free weights are not put away correctly in their right spots. The bench press was empty but still had weights on it but no one was using it. Every machine is rusted and dirty, my hands were noticeably dark from all the accumulated grime. There are used paper towels lying on the floor. There are empty drinks just sitting on the machines. The floors are also dirty. It’s as if no one ever cleans anywhere. The locker rooms smell gross. It is very crowded and the layout makes everything feel claustrophobic. The employee I dealt with was very unfriendly and kept trying to push a membership even after multiple times telling him firmly no, I just wanted to use the 3 day pass. I won’t even use my last 2 days here as no one there respects the equipment or gym culture. This place is a joke LA needs to fix this.
