I really like going to this gym for their hours, how close it is to my house and because it’s usually never packed. I get my workouts in without anyone bothering me and everyone for the most part is nice and friendly. I’m giving it a low rating strictly because I’ve been going there for about a year and a half and it never looks clean, machines break and they’re either never fixed or take a very long time to fix. There’s several treadmills that have been broken for months and there’s no movement to fix them. All the machines just have an old feel to them and the floors are always dirty. I feel like the $50 I pay monthly is way too high for what is offered. This gym has so much potential but it doesn’t seem like it’s well taken care of so I may consider going elsewhere very soon if things don’t change.

If I was able to give less than one star I would, it is so disappointing the lack of management in this gym. Many of the machines are poor and clearly in a state of repair. Some of them have sharp broken edges and are 100% safe hazards that could seriously injure someone. When this issue was brought up, the owner was selfish enough to ignore the problem and think of it as a joke. These broken machines are a serious problem and sure hope for the amount you’re paying for a membership that not only would the management be better, but would hope for a safer environment/ machines.

A change from the big Corporate gyms in the area. Usually pretty empty during morning hours and very rarely have to wait for a machine. The equipment/machines are older and sometimes worn out showing the wear and tear. Also the cost of 25.00 per month is pretty high considering what you’re paying for. Several corporate gyms around are 9.99 a month with all new equipment and are at least 3 times larger. I’ve run into several people from there in my new gym and basically they left for the same reason. If you want to train in a gym like Ronnie Coleman did at Metroplex then this is the place for you….

I’ve only been at this gym for a few weeks but I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is so welcoming, so are the people that work out there. Everyone is so nice and willing to help you out if you need something. Also an awesome selection of machines, squat racks, and free weights!

The gym is great, and most people in there are amazing. On the other hand, there are people like the one of the owners, Luke, who is very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. My friend wanted to take back his kilo plates from the gym (which he allowed anyone to use), and when he informed Luke that he was taking the plates back, he was disrespectful and lashed out. He needs to realize that he is an adult/owner of the place, and this should be unacceptable. I’ve been in the gym for a while and love it with my whole heart, but I can tolerate the disrespect from a person who is an owner of the place. I hope Luke doesn’t continue to treat people this was, and action is taken. This should be unacceptable behavior for the owner of the establishment.
