Iron Therapy Gym

Amazing powerlifting gym! Everyone has been super welcoming. The owner, Jon really cares about the people that come into his gym and helps however he can. Definitely reccomend if you are in the area!

I have made dramatic progress in my 6 months working with John at Iron therapy. For over 30 years I’ve worked out in bodybuilding style gyms, picking things up and putting them down. Yes my arms, chest, etc. all got big but my core was weak. John has focused on my core training, balance and injury prevention perfectly. I still pick stuff up and put it down, but now my whole body is healthier. The gym is very different with all kinds of equipment designed for occupational therapy and strength. Yes, it has dumbbells, barbells and machines, but also has big bags of sand, round concrete balls, and sleds that you push and pull. John keeps his gym extremely clean. Every piece of equipment is put back in its right place after it’s been used unlike many larger corporate gyms I’ve worked out in. In sum Iron Therapy is a unique gym run by a very intelligent and talented trainer. The biggest praise I can give John is that I trust him and do exactly what tells me to do.

Was in town for a temporary work assignment and the owner Jon let me use his gym for the month. Awesome gym. Everything you need to get stronger and better. Every member I encountered was nice, friendly, and accommodating. Truly an exceptional community this gym fosters. I cannot recommend this gym enough. If I am ever back that way, this is the only gym I would consider going to.

Awesome gym to drop in at while traveling. Has everything except B.S. No b.s. hand sanitizers, plastic shields between equipment, Instagram influencers, etc. Fantastic gym. Thanks Jon!

I started coming to this gym about a month ago because my son was concerned about me not getting enough exercise. I had a conversation with Jon about my goals, and he paired me up with gym buddies who help keep me accountable— I love them. I fit right in, and Jon made sure I learned the proper techniques to avoid injury. The progression in weights has been just right, and I feel so much better. This gym makes me want to keep coming here for the rest of my life!
