I got a 7 day free pass, though I have a dc license which you need for a free pass I guess. Overall it's fine there's only one Olympic lifting platform which is just about the only thing l do so that's kinda a downside, but so far it's only ever been me using it so it's fine. I've been going in the mornings and it's been pretty empty whenever I get there. Haven't run into any pushy staff or anything and I enjoy just being left alone to do my own thing.

Do you like working out in a sauna? Great. This is your gym. Despite politely requesting multiple times for our thermostat to be set at comfortable levels for the gym members the heat is routinely set at 75 or 76 in the winter. So I’m posting this review because I hope this issue gets more attention and a permanent fix.

This gym is conveniently located off the metro that is a plus. And if you do drive, they will validate your parking. The gym itself is very small and the equipment is older, but the locker rooms do have saunas. The plus side is it's never too crowded because people don't like to go to this gym. So if you're looking for a quick workout, this is your place.

Guy at the front desk is rude for no reason. Equipment is outdated and not well maintained. Not the best of the gold gym locations in the area. DuPont or Georgetown locations are better

The staff and front desk members at the Gold's Gym in Capitol Hill were incredibly disrespectful and unhelpful. As a visitor from Texas who has used various Gold's Gyms in other states, I know they typically only need to call your home gym to assist you. However, the employees here refused to listen or offer any help. They were consistently arrogant, and one falsely claimed to be the manager. When I contacted other locations, I was informed that no managers were working on the 4th of July. These people need to be fired.
