The Mat - Yoga & Wellness

It has been such a blessing to have joined the Mat✨ not only are all the instructors phenomenal but they each bring such a unique experience to studio, making every class fun + challenging! Crystal and Jocelyn have built a community here in Vallejo, making you feel welcomed right as you walk in! I absolutely love coming here + being able to strengthen my practice. I definitely see a difference in both my health and my stress level just from going to classes for the past year. It’s been an incredible journey and one I get to share with both my family and new friends! I, also, love that they do private classes for celebrations and got to do a class with 20 of my closest friends and family for my birthday. Thank you Crystal + Jocelyn! Excited for what you have coming next!

Mom of four with a high demand job, serious about blowing off steam, releasing stress, staying fit, and prioritizing my physical and mental health. The Mat is my sanctuary, it’s where I go for some “me” time and for amazing workouts. The instructors are awesome, great energy, serious about their practice, and keep classes fun! They have a great variety of class types and times, and even change up the classes with new moves and use of different equipment. The studio is very professional (no cancelled classes, they start and end on time, etc.) and is super clean! I highly recommend joining this studio, life changing!

Hands down the best yoga studio in the Bay Area! The instructors are all so sweet but def encouraging throughout class and vibes are always 100% there. The variety of classes are also 🔝. They truly make taking care of your body through exercise so pleasant, and I can’t stress the difference I’ve noticed in my body not only visually but my mobility too. 10/10 recommend.

The Mat- Yoga and Wellness has been life-changing for me! As a mom of 2 and a night shift nurse, I have struggled to maintain a consistent fitness routine. I found The Mat through a fellow school mom and took my first class in April. 6 months later and I can definitively say that I’ve finally found my fitness sanctuary. The Mat has given me a fun and safe environment that continues to support my physical and mental wellbeing. The amazing and knowledgeable instructors, the variety of Yoga and Pilates classes with flexible times, the sense of community, and the consistently clean space will keep you coming back for more! I highly recommend The Mat!

The Mat is an amazing experience! The class times are great for early mornings and later evenings. I think everyone needs a Jocelyn, Crystal and Melina is their life. So grateful for this space. The variety of classes are so wonderful, and they aren’t ridiculously priced! Health should be for everyone and they have created a community that inspires you to try new things, with challenging work outs and encouragement. You won’t regret coming here! I was a pack holder and now hold a membership. And love it!
