Gold's Gym

I've moved back to Southern Cal after 8 years and decided to try out Gold's in Simi Valley. I was impressed by how clean everything is and well maintained. This gym has been there for a number of years now so kudos to them.

Golds gym is our 2nd home- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gold's has been an absolute gem for our family, especially for my son Gavin, who has special needs. The staff here goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcome and accommodated, and that makes all the difference for us. We particularly love using the pool. They even helped us find quieter times to visit, which is perfect for Gavin’s comfort. The pool area is always clean, and the accessible facilities make getting in and out so much easier for him. It's not just a gym for us; it's a supportive community where Gavin and I both feel at home. Highly recommend for any family looking for a place that truly cares about everyone’s needs. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

As always, my workout today at Gold's Gym, was very satisfying. All the machines I used for upper and lower body conditioning were fully functional. My cardio today was 29 minutes on the bike, and the ease of use of the workout options is very user friendly. I was greeted upon entering the facility as well as acknowledged upon my leaving. 5 stars deserved!

Review for people visiting- Great facility. Moved away but I use Golds everytime I visit family in Simi. Unfortunately, I usually typically encounter problems with checking in. More times than not, staff do not know how to smoothly handle either a day pass/week pass/out of town and there is always some confusion. It always results in an employer needing to take 5-10 minutes to talk to a manager. This is really the only location I have ever experienced this (I travel a lot). This week, Tommy was able to help without any issue and made entering extremely smooth. I could have drank preworkout in my car and worked out by the time I needed to, haha. Just be aware that depending on who is working that day, you might have to wait a decent bit to enter.

I am always greeted with a friendly hello which is a great start. I usually just use a treadmill—always clean and available. Then to my favorite place—the steam room. And after a shower I leave to a warm goodbye by a staff member.
