24 Hour Fitness

Everything here was fine until the last few months. The staff largely do not care and just sit on their phones while people walk in, not even looking up, let alone greeting. The equipment is becoming neglected. The worst part for me is the men's locker room. It appears they "clean" it only once per week, however there is still grime in the sinks, mold growing in the showers, and trash all over the floors. Also, for the past 2 weeks there has been an ant problem in the men's showers. I brought this up to the staff after about 1 week of seeing the issue, and it has not been taken care of 2 weeks after. Overall, this facility is ok as far as equipment goes, underwhelming with staff, and disappointing on cleanliness. For the prices they charge I expect better.

When I first started going here they cleaned the women's locker room regularly. For the past couple of months they have virtually stopped cleaning it. They have cleaned the showers and floors about twice in the last month or two. Luis the manager has decided that the gym will only clean the women's locker room twice a month it appears. Just FYI if you are considering joining here. The women's locker room and showers are basically a health hazard, truly disgustingly dirty - trash and hair everywhere, mold in the showers. Luis the manager does not care. Consider choosing a different gym.

The staff are largely unhelpful. Things do not get fixed even when they are repeatedly alerted about it. They rarely clean the locker room. It has been almost 2 weeks since the women's locker room was actually cleaned. The floors and showers have not been touched for days. The same dirt, grime, hair, trash is all in the same places. The showers are growing mold. Now they are saying the cleaning person is out sick. So I guess Luis the manager's "management plan" is to just... Not clean the locker room. Great management Luis. How about you grab a mop and bleach and do it after hours?? 🤦

I’ve been coming to 24 Hour Fitness in Santee for a little while now, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The gym is often cleaned, well-maintained, and has a great variety of equipment. I have to give a special shoutout to Jenaya, the cleaner, who always goes above and beyond to make sure the place is spotless. Her attention to detail and friendly attitude make the environment even more enjoyable to work out in. The staff is always helpful, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great fitness experience!

I don't know what has happened but this club used to clean the ladies locker but they haven't cleaned it for about 2 months now. I know some others have mentioned it to the managers but there is still no cleaning. There are piles of hair on the floor whenever and the toilets have not been cleaned for a while. I think this must be a health hazard? It is so disgusting. I'm paying for this gym! What a mistake.
