Crunch Fitness - North Riverside

This location has busted equipment that needs to go to the dump. Rusty machines or out of service. For how many machines they have, they could really use some better variety and not just duplicates. The only reason they didn't get a 1 star review is because the staff here were great. Very nice and helpful. They deserve to work at a nicer location.

False advertising. Crunch will bill you an annual fee and not provide services that are mentioned on their website and membership agreement. I was a member this year for a few months then cancelled. I took my business elsewhere. To a clean new gym. Apparently this Crunch facility has promoted a new remodel gym coming soon for years. I encountered several problems at this location but this one was the main one. Here is what they do Not do with your annual fee: Crunch Fitness charges an annual fee to cover the cost of maintaining and improving their facilities and equipment. Crunch Fitness reinvests a large portion of monthly fees into buying and maintaining high-quality cardio machines and strength training equipment. 

The annual fee helps cover the cost of maintaining the club's facilities, including cleaning supplies, heating and cooling systems.

Ok gym for the money. Two complaints: every time I go, I have to wait for the cleaning lady to finish cleaning the locker rooms. Cleanliness is good. Wasting my time isn't. The other is the same complaint I have about every gym; loud crappy music 90% of the time. ALL of us wear our own earbuds! We don't want to have to crank up our volume so high it's going to give us hearing damage and just to block out the loud crap you play. Seriously. Stop it.

About payment I tried to cancel my membership on jun they didn’t help me until July now suddenly I see my bank account they charged me on August , September, twice on October and another charge this month I called and they did not help me understand why I still got charged when i had already canceled I have screenshots about every transaction and emails I got. They are just seeing how to take money away.

Nobody goes to this gym because they are scammers. They took my money and they don't want to give me my money back. I paid 10 dollars to sign up for one day with a captain and he told me I have an appointment on Friday at 7 and I went and didn't tell the captain. He told me to come on Saturday. The captain told me to come on Monday. They are scammers and thieves.
