I was a member since 1994 and was cancelled because of covid and the bankruptcy. When my family resigned up they didn’t tell us the pool, sauna and steam room were permanently closed. This what we look forward too after a workout. They also aren’t 24/7 . So they shouldn’t be allowed to be called 24 hour fitness because it is a lie. The hours aren’t consistent. Not happy I now have to drive to El Cerrito to enjoy what the gym in Richmond claims to offer. My family will not be renewing our memberships. Very disappointed in the service and equipment that is out dated and run down.

Closed their pool and sauna area permanently. This is the only reason I have a membership with 24-hour fitness. They will probably reply with a generic all purpose reply about how they are sorry my experience wasn't better and how they are always striving to be better or something like that.

I can’t stand it when folks hit the gym just to give their thumbs a workout! (Texting or Screentime) You ask them how many reps they’ve cranked out, and they’re all like, “I just started.” Really? The only thing you’re exercising is your got dem thumb on that screen! Come on, people, just stay in your car or at home laid back! You’re more of a gym pest than a personal trainer! Honestly, watching these gym slackers is like trying to run a marathon in slow motion, super unmotivating!

It's oookkk use to be better. Some of the treadmills don't work, and it seems like no one's fixing them. Also, they took away the pool, sauna, and steam room that was a major blow for this location... I wish they would have never done that now it just seems like a regular gym.

The filthiest pool, jacuzzi and shower ever. I’ve been a member here for the past 2 years. About a year ago, I began noticing dirt floating in the jacuzzi area (see pictures). I initially thought nothing of it but it became more recurrent and more noticeable. 7 months ago (jan 1st 12pm), I noticed the walls of the jacuzzi covered with the dirt (maybe human feces?). I asked the manager to call me so I could share my experience but he never did. I stopped using the jacuzzi all together. Swimming pool was initially okay, but gradually became filthy as well. Occasionally, I saw pieces of what looked like toilet papers and other debris floating in the pool. Today, after one lap of swim, I had to jump out of the pool because I saw hundreds of what appeared to be feces (vegetable etc) floating in the mid pool. I was disgusted. How is it even possible to have a public pool this filthy? I don’t think i can ever return to this pool. I notified a female attendant about the filth ones so that she would consider closing the pool to have it cleaned. Not to mention, the floor of the shower area and toilet is always disgusting with no exception. Thank god city sports is building their gym a few blocks away.
