I have been going to Bikram Yoga Milpitas for the past month and enjoyed my classes with Cynthia, Jeff and Scott. It is a traditional Bikram yoga class with heated room. Instructors are quote supportive of newcomers, very clean and nice studio. The heat takes some getting used to but is so so good for the body and skin.

This is long overdue. First time here in Feb 2024 for the intro 1 month of 90 minutes of real raw Bikram yoga. That is my favorite part of this studio-- is that it is the traditional style. I've practiced the traditional 90 minutes of torture for about 15 years now. So much has changed since 2017 with the way the practice is presented and taught. I came from an incredible traditional Bikram yoga studio with many teachers- some incredibly graceful and gentle on the ear, and others teachers with that hardcore teaching style that emphasizes the traditional way. I prefer the latter, the teacher that reminds you that you are human but f$$k your feelings- fight back and remember what you came in here for. While many new yogi's on the scene haven't experienced this- this had always been the norm. Back then you prepared yourself for a drilling and or for the hell of the heat and knew that if you got that one teacher- you'd maybe get the door opened for 10 seconds before the floor series. In my opinion, The practice itself, it's etiquette, and it's time shouldn't change especially if the name remains the same. If the studio is a Bikram yoga studio- well- show up for Bikram yoga. If you're not sure what that is- you can find it online anywhere. You will understand why the commands are given once and firm and often times come out mis-spoken with broken English. Feeling like you're going to puke or even dizzy--trust me walking out only heightens it- so if you're being told to stay in the room (even if that's the only thing you do is stay in there and lay on your mat) understand it's being said for a reason. It should be spoken to students perhaps that way so they understand and don't just think their being placed in hell and do not have a way out. *I practiced with Cynthia for many years. Finding her again was pure joy. I do see my dear friend may be overworked and I hope that the studio can find other teachers to help relieve the others for rest in between. Speakin that dialogue for 90 minutes might even be harder than doing all 26 postures as the student. I've read some of the reviews girl- I suppose you could slow it down so you're a little more understood and people aren't throwing shade as if being the under influence was even a concern. But I get it- this is the way we got taught- fast talk, demands, getting called out by name, pushed to the absolute limit. I get it. Still having a hard time with reading that review- that's a pretty bold statement to just throw out on google like that- especially not knowing whether it is a fact or not. I'm sorry to see this Cynthia. You are 5 stars and a dope individual, just continue. Find rest when you can. ~Understanding the intense energy you must maintain from every student in class and stay balanced yourself is hard work alone. My hat goes off to every teacher that devotes their time to teach a hot yoga class amidst the day they themselves experienced. In an ideal world in this country tis of thee-- everyone coming to yoga should be happy and cheery, right? But we ain't living like that- so let's just stop to think about the next person and what they might have been, gone, and are dealing with and just show respect. Yogi's Let's stop the barging into the studio in front of someone else to lock in your spot- let's have some respect for each other. A smile goes a long way. A happy student who walks into the studio respectfully and quietly with grace rolls their mat out so to not disturb their neighbor- goes a long way. Practicing a gentle spirit wherever you go is something you can learn in this yoga. Continue to go- get to know the postures correctly, and enter them with effort, grace and integrity. 90 minute Bikram yoga is one of the best things that happened to me. I'm forever changed. & 100% this yoga will change you. Be kind to yourself and others. Come to the studio and find something new about you each time. Peace and Love, Leonisa

I took the one month intro class and after one class noticed this wasn’t for me. It was too fast pace for me, the place wasn’t too clean, and the instructor Cynthia talks soooo fast, without any punctuation marks lol… extremely hard to understand her! I wouldn’t recommend this place!

I admit It was hard to locate the place since it is on the second floor and stairs are on both sides. But I called and had excellent service. Once inside, I fell in love: Excellent reception, beautiful clean lobby, nice people, a feeling of authenticity and love. The showers are spotless. Its close to a year old so everything is new and they clean daily before and after every class. Bikram Yoga Milpitas is part of my daily routine now and life is so much better! Couldn't live without it

Best place to regain your energy. Super clean environment. Professional staff. Excellent and kind teachers. My right knee was damaged in a car accident. I have been walking with a limp ever since. The pain is gone and I can walk straight!!! Thank you Bikram Yoga Milpitas. I appreciate your acceptance as I have been to many different Bikram schools.
