The cleanliness is maintained, front desk is courteous, friendly and accommodating. Instructors are approachable. machines are clean, updated. i would like to suggest that there should be more classes in mid afternoom mid morning to accommodate more fitnesd buff, Generally the location ..is accessible and affordable and it is a better idea to give discount to seniors. Thanks!

I have been a member at F19 in Eagle Rock for over five years. I've taken boxing and fitness training with Jermaine, whose motto is actually my motto: "The only easy day was yesterday."That means that you should always keep challenging yourself. Jermaine is a pro boxer, and pardon the pun... he doesn't pull any punches! He's honest, direct, motivational, focused, exceptionally strong, very confident, and challenges us like none other. - Herb

So the good news is this gym is affordable, parking is easy peezy, and the hours are pretty good. The bad news is it’s always crowded and isn’t always in the best shape. The personal trainers are great. That’s the best part of this place. Alejandra is who I see and I’d recommend her to anyone at any level. She will match you where you are at and adjust as you go. Empathetic, kind, knowledgeable, will make you reach your goals. Zero pretense. If the gym makes you uncomfortable at all, she will make you feel at home. Here is where I am taking off stars though. Recently, the gym installed a huge blue and white neon light in the personal training space. I can’t stand this thing. It literally hurts my eyes and makes everyone look like they’re in a morgue or something. Like, have you wanted to look even more ugly when you’re working out, cause this thing will make that a reality. I’ve asked if it’s dimmable at all and everyone is disappointed when they tell me that it isn’t. Please, Fitness 19, I’m going to need you to find a way to travel back to 1985 and give this thing back to the club you stole it from. 😵💫
