Gold’s Gym Long Beach - a gym in a league of its own! I've been a member of Gold's Gym in Long Beach for a while now, and I can confidently say it's a fitness experience unlike any other. From the moment you step in, you can feel the difference. The locker room is incredibly clean and spacious, with a luxurious, almost spa-like atmosphere. It’s not just a place to change—it's a space where you feel relaxed and ready to take on your workout. One of the standout features of Gold's Gym for me is the exceptional personal training program. I’m currently working with MC, and I couldn’t be happier. Even though I only see him once a week, his knowledge and expertise make a huge difference. He’s got a solid educational background and really understands how to tailor workouts to address specific challenges—like my knee issues. What I appreciate most is that he doesn’t just check in with me during our sessions. He genuinely cares about my progress and holds me accountable, which is a game-changer in staying motivated. I highly recommend getting a personal trainer, even if it’s just for one session a week. It’s a great way to stay on track, learn proper techniques, and work through any physical limitations or goals you might have. Gold's Gym offers a welcoming, high-quality environment with fantastic amenities and top-notch trainers. I’m so glad I joined, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Gold's gym is the number 1 rated gym in the long beach area, 5 stars service from the enter till the time you, Staff is also top notch in attending to your needs help learning more about the equipment and the proper way to use it, Will leave you feeling confident and secure . Top priority i look for in a gym is the cleanliness, No doubt hands down the gym is clean from the floor to the locker rooms and showers. This gym has amazing equipment, unfortunately the artificial turf training area is useless. Out of all the Golds Gym locations, the members that come to the Pike prefer to sit and stretch/work out on the track rather than the green area. You would think with the indicated lanes and individuals using the push sled, it would signal to individuals its use case. No people here lack any common sense, and the gym itself needs to put signs up, possibly info graphics letting their members know they shouldn’t be sitting on the track. It will only be a matter of time till people get into it.

Dirty, broken, and neglected. NOT built to be anything other than TEMPORARY. I tried so hard to give this place a chance, but they clearly don’t care about the quality of the space they provide. I get that construction sometimes takes longer than expected. But I joined this gym a year ago with the promise that the new location would be ready in 4-6 months. This location is NOT sustainable and not maintained. The staff turns off the back lights at 9:40 PM (sometimes 9:30), despite still having numerous guests on the treadmills - which is extremely rude and also very hazardous, I’m honestly surprised I haven’t rolled an ankle. There are much better ways to get guests out of a closing gym. The space is not ventilated for large groups of sweating people, there’s no ac or fresh air and the glass walls literally steam up. The machines have not been calibrated since they’ve been installed, a 5.0 pace on one treadmill is completely different on another. The weight machines are worn down and lacking weight indicators. The self-clean supplies are empty 9/10 times, and while I’ve seen employees wipe down equipment at the end of the night there’s really no way to wipe it down yourself. On top of that I’ve seen actual boogers on the glass walls and baby roaches on the machines. I honestly wish I was exaggerating, I really wanted to give this place a good review. The only good thing about this place was the staff member named Connery - he was friendly and seemed to really care about the gym. But since it’s been months since I’ve seen him around, I no longer have a reason to hesitate posting this review.

they need to train their employees a little better with customer service. I simply asked to helped me with my membership but SANDRA who was at the front desk today DID NOT HELPED ME and just gave me a phone number to contact and said she can’t do anything about it. I felt like she didn’t helped me at all and gave me an attitude. I would write a great review and 5 stars for this gym especially the location but SANDRA needs extra training with her customer service skills.
