I really tried to love this place. Sorry this will be a very long review. This is basically the only pole dancing studio in Fresno so I truly wanted to become an angel here (lol) no but seriously I went to the intro classes and I loved it at first and tried to fully commit. I even bought knee pads and shoes. I first met Irene and it inspired me to come back. She was very considerate and helpful. Then I met Jennifer, the wonderful founder of Aerial Angels. She welcomes you with warm and open arms and it made me feel like I had a place there. My schedule ended up changing due to school and I was only able to attend Monday classes. Monday classes are ran by Veronica, which are for all levels of dancers, so I thought I would still be able to learn and get a good workout. I was wrong lol… the Monday classes are definitely geared towards intermediate and advanced dancers because they are not really guided, they are a free for all class. I did not feel supported by Veronica and the vibe of the class was different than the intro classes. The girls who are advanced are already independent and know their abilities, meaning there’s less collaboration or a sense of belonging. In the intro classes, the girls speak and laugh with eachother and try to learn together, and it’s like the opposite with the Monday class. And honestly this is very understandable because the advanced girls are super talented, so it only makes sense that they take advantage of their time doing their own routines. But as a beginner, this really turned me off because I felt I wasn’t learning anything, I was just trying to keep up and grasp the basics on my own and ended up not getting any constructive criticism. The only advice I got on a Monday, was not from Veronica, but from another student. I wish I remembered her name. In fact, Veronica let me do painful floor work without knee pads and I guess I missed the memo on the website and I was told by her in front of everyone that I “should have came prepared because it states online you need to bring your own gear” which obviously I did not see… Anyways, this sport is very competitive so if you are ready to learn on your own, then I think this is a great place for you, the studio is very cute and Jennifer is amazing. (Unless you obviously have time to attend the Intro classes, unlike me.) I will miss this place even though I wasn’t there long. Maybe I’ll just learn at home for now. Good luck future angels.

My first year ant Aerial Angels Pole camp and it was amazing! Jen and her amazing teachers did a great job of getting great guest teachers! Having Jen in classes with me was a special treat because she is such an amazing teacher and she spent one on one time with many of us, walking through the moves and spotting for those of that were struggling a bit more! I will be taking classes at Aerial Angels every chance I get 😊

The girls in the class are so friendly. The lighting is perfect I was worried harsh lighting would focus on my flaws (love handles) and luckily the teacher dimmed the lights to make us feel more cozy and sensual (for the dance.) But the classes are to fast. The teacher says to just attend a lot of classes until you get it. Typically by four you do. I attended three classes and still could not understand it I asked for a private class with the teacher and that I’d be willing to pay more (they do offer this) and she brushed it off and told me it’s funner with a group of girls and that was that. It’s amazing probably for young fit girls that have an idea on how to dance already but not a woman in her late thirties just starting out.

My first class was Choreo Fundamentals (Beginner) and it's everything I imagined. Definitely something worth doing tons of classes for. Helps your strength, coordination, and overall boost that inner sexy beast you have. Will for sure continue to do this. Thank you Sheri for cheering me on and pumping us up! 🙌🏽 Update 3/4/24: I barely did my second class lol I come to class via Class Pass. I took the goddess werk class taught by Veronica Diaz and it was amazing! It helps you break the ice with yourself because you can move freely however you feel comfortable. Still 100% recommend, but you do have to be prepared with knee pads and gripping spray, plus sexy clothes 😉
