This place is too crowded. The members are weird. You stand there waiting for machine. They just sit there talking on the phone. So no courtesy that you're standing waiting. You have members putting personal belongings on equipment so that they can walk 30 feet away and do something else and nobody could use the equipment. You have a women's locker room- There's a door to the Sauna and the pool that says keep it closed. And they will open it with door stopper and all of the steam comes into the locker room where you're trying to get dressed and do your hair- even the cleaning lady early AM Minday thru Friday leaves It opened she'll walk through. I don't know 20 to30 times and not shut it. I will shut it. You have members going in and using showers and saying, they are using 2 at same time then proceed out to locker room and use an entire 12 foot area where plugs are for themselves and refuse to sllow anyone else to use this big are. They are no one enforces these things. You tell somebody something and they don't do anything about it. They need more equipment. And the gym is kind of dirty now using both of them and I will let you use it and who you think you are, then you have other members using area designated handicap and taking their towel and covering the screen on the bicycle, you can't see how long they've Been on it and you're afraid to say something to them and they're not handicapped. Just ppl who think no rulese apply to them. No respect for others and a staff that does not care.

I signed up early August 2024. Was told only 39 monthly. Suddenly at sign up, was asked to pay 1st and last month + approximately 2 annuals totaling to 218 within 15 days. I should have said no thanks. But I didn't. My fault. So mad at myself. I love the cleanliness and how it's not packed. Sales rep sold me on new equipment for all of gym as of 2023 but once on treadmills and equipment I realized it not all new. Love the woman's only sauna. Love the pool and shower area. Do NOT love how there are no feminine products vending machines nor swim suit dryers. I forgot to ask and our sales rep forgot to tell me, now Im learning the hard way, the earliest classes start at 830 and 9am. Just learned now the hard way that this gym doesn't open till 8am on Saturdays. Sorry LA Fitness to many negatives and only 2 positives for me. Asking for cancelation and refund today.

La Fitness Fontana is a very nice gym. When I say very nice, I mean, I arrived around 830am and it was not crowded at all. I took advantage of the weight room and pool, I was able to use all the equipment I wanted without having to wait. This gym has 4 racquet ball courts, a basketball court, cycling, multipurpose fitness room, sauna, pool and jacuzzi. The whole time I was there the crowd was quite small and the pool had only 2 other people. Consider joining if you are thinking about it. 2nd visit a week later arrived on a Thursday around 750am. It was a bit busy but it did not feel overwhelming. I am very surprised that this gym does not offer many classes during the week unlike other gyms. Ok so… I am comparing this to the Upland location and I have to say I prefer the Fontana one because I was able to use whatever equipment I wanted without the crowds or classes. The shower pressure was ok but I do like that they have paper towels on site and always filled sanitizing wipes! Missign a star - Shower pressure and Jaccuzi looked unsanitary Time for a PSA – Please be considerate of others around you. Wearing dirty gym clothes or thinking it is ok to not shower for days and come to the gym, is gross (YOU STINK, Yes you!, I am talking to you bruh). Sanitize the equipment you use, especially after and be mindful of those who want to use the machine after you, re-rack your Sh%t. I absolutely hate carrying 5 stacks of 45lbs because lazy bro’s/gal’s can’t do it themselves but are ok adding it on, how does this make sense?

Great gym, but be careful with your belongings. I saw an old lady with purple short hair, steal a little hard case from another lady at the pool. Luckily the owner of the case saw her as well. Keep an eye on your stuff.

At 1 time, I love to go to that gym, but it seems like they don't really care about the restrooms, at least demands and they keep on losing accessories for the cable machines. Things are always missing, and they're a broke down or being serviced.
