Hot 8 Yoga

This hot 8 yoga location is great. I fairly new to hot yoga Yoga itself but I loved it. The studio is clean and there’s parking. Staff is very friendly. I tried 3 other Hot 8 Yoga locations and by far this SouthBay studio gets hotter than other studios. Definitely looking forward to attending more classes here.

I went frequently a year ago. It was awesome and I loved the heat and the teachers. Made me really enjoy yoga. As it happens I got into other activities and took a break. My first class back was 3 days ago. I went to their Yin yoga class with Niya. She was not as enthusiastic as the other teachers I relegating, and she played loud R&B music, which is great if you’re into that, but it’s not for me during a Yin class. I’d say on the whole if you like hot yoga, you’ll like going here. Just keep in mind that different teachers bring different energy, some will be a good fit and others won’t.

Purchase a welcome week and didn't felt very welcomed here. The first class I didn't know to bring a mat and towel and rental fee each is $3. Then the bath towel you have to ask for it, I used their shower 2 after classes and on the third time when I asked for a towel they said it's only for members and it's $3 to rent it. The staff weren't too friendly either. While the classes are good, the weights and yoga blocks are not sanitized like other yoga studios. Bathrooms have no hook on the door. Seems like they try to get you on the monthly high priced membership and penny you for any requests.

Hot 8 El Segundo is a wonderful, loving, and positive community with excellent teachers and team members. The studio is always clean and the rooms are spacious with excellent natural lighting and large mirrors to help maintain integrity in your form. Be sure to thank the staff for keeping the studio and happy and clean in environment.

Friendly and welcoming studio and staff. Classes are hot and challenging, but in a collaborative environment. Parking is easy. Definitely a great addition to South Bay!
