Every gym has its pros and cons but I learned to adapt and utilize what’s around me. Blink is a standard gym for beginners and intermediate lifters due to the lack of heavier weights. Yet I love the atmosphere of it being empty, no wait times and being very clean along with the people being chill unlike golds gym filled with ego and competition, too crowded and dirty. The lack of gym etiquette shows how poor management is with staff who cares to clean and gym members who don’t care to leave equipment in poor quality and lack of hygiene. The pictures with trash and plates everywhere is golds gym. Sure they have more equipment, better facilities but I can’t train with a lot of trash on the floor, it ruins the experience and shows how careless management handles the lack of maintenance and hygiene.

I had a really awful experience at this gym. The manager's actions were completely inappropriate and made me feel super uncomfortable. I won’t be going back, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It's a shame because the gym itself was fine, but the way I was treated by the manager was unacceptable. I hope they take this seriously, but I’m done.

Review is for assistant manager, Denise. She has excellent customer service skills, she listens well, she’s competent and goes above and beyond to assist you with what she’s able to offer. Originally I was disappointment with the response of other staff in regards to fees I wasn’t aware of. There are a couple fees in addition to the monthly. It’s different based on level. The person who enrolled me was not aware of one of the fees on my level, so they miscommunicated. Denise was not able to rectify the situation completely, but she did her best to help me the best she could. The disappointment came from staff, who seem to be above her, that were unwilling to try and rectify the situation or make things better, as she tried to do. Sidenote… The gym does seem to be a little warm. Maybe this is intentional so people sweat. So if you like that stuff, then it may be a good fit. The staff in general seem to be friendly, and they keep it clean.

The manager's behavior is concerning; I've noticed him staring at many girls in the gym, including myself when I was on a machine. None of the employees seem to stay for long, and the bathrooms are very dirty, which makes the whole environment feel uncomfortable. They really need a new manager

Updated Review 8/30/24 (see original below): I originally gave two stars, again - see below, but after Blinks response to my review, I lowered it to one. It’s great they’re monitoring & responding to reviews, but this response just solidified the original issue. Which was them saying, but not doing. They said they’re sorry, but no one made any effort to contact me and/or rectify. I’ve reached out to them on several occasions, with the same response. “Sorry we’ll talk to our team about that.” I presented a few creative solutions one with me even having to pay more money. I’m not saying the customers is always right, but it seems to have gone the other extreme with many businesses, as in this situation, where the business is always right - customer, do business at your own risk. Read contract verbatim - if something isn’t clear as more than one person to confirm whatever answer they give you. I did also forget to mention the first time, that it is extremely warm in this gym. My primary reason in joining was a cool place to exercise.😆 Original Review: It’s really not my thing to leave bad reviews. I only do so when I feel it might benefit others when thinking about doing business with a particular establishment. I give this fitness center two stars for cleanliness and somewhat friendly environment. I’m not giving it five stars due to sneaky pricing advertisement. In my situation I misunderstood, but did ask clarifying questions before signing my contract, to which I was in accurately communicated by, I guess, a new employee. However, management simply said, well, there’s nothing I can do, that’s just the way it is. It was disappointed in sneaky fees, basically inaccurate pricing description. When asked about it, I wasn’t communicated with accurately. Management didn’t rectify it, or at least work with me to try and find some kind of solution… Basically a middle ground. I have written in big print on my fridge the day I can cancel my contract. I do not want to miss the date!!!! Customer Service is top priority for wherever I do business. I would rather pay more for the same product, where the customer service is better. I do not recommend Blink Fitness!
