Club Pilates

Club Pilates Alameda is my home studio. It’s in a perfect location with tons of parking and is very spacious. I’m a new member and already feel comfortable with the equipment. Shy is a fantastic instructor! I can feel my abs engaging for the first time in years and I love how low impact it is for my back and joints. I’m excited to feel stronger and more flexible in the coming weeks.

I recently took an intro Pilates class at Club Pilates in Alameda. I've never done Pilates before but was looking for a low impact, but challenging, workout to add to my routine and help rehab some injuries. The entire process from registering for class, communication with gym personnel, and day off check in/class was very simple. Everyone was friendly, warm and welcoming. I enjoyed the intro class so much, and the instructor Nadia was amazing. She took the time to explain the movements, body positions, and breathing technique. Following the 30 minute intro class I feel well prepared to attend a full session. I even registered for a membership. My body felt great and I'm looking forward to learning more movements and challenging myself in new ways.

I can't say enough good things about my Pilates experience here. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They tailor the sessions to your individual needs and make sure you're using proper form to maximize results. The quality of instruction is exceptional, and the value is outstanding considering the personal attention you receive. My flexibility and core strength have improved dramatically since starting, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Alameda Club Pilates is a refreshing environment and a beautiful place to exercise. I honestly enjoy my time there all the time. The Instructors are friendly and will give you helpful tips if you have any kind of injuries and it’s always there to support you.

I am sad I have to leave a bad review on this one. All the teachers are nice, class is nice, but the bad review really is about communication. There is zero communication in this place. There is nobody pick up the phone call most of the time, no one respond to the voice mail, and definitely zero person will reply your email when you have a question. I am having difficult time in this place while I need help. Now I am trying to cancel my membership, and they are giving me very hard time to do it by not replying any or my phone call or email or texts. They let me fill up the cancellation form, there isn't any confirmation letter ( no matter how many time you filled it ) , there isn't anyone respond to me or answer me regarding to my cancellation for 5 days. I still waiting for them. For those who are interested learning Pilates, yes the teachers are nice and classes are good, but the catch it -- it's very very hard to find a class. I signed up for 4 classes a month, by the time of my new billing cycle -- the first week most classes are fully booked. It's almost impossible to find anytime to join, if you are lucky, you get maybe 2.5 weeks of classes might be available for your to sign up. If you are sick and traveling during that month..you might just not able to sign up for anything. With the poor communication, this place is really disappointing.
