I am so happy to have found this studio! I feel so supported and safe on the outdoor lanai, open air, with informed and welcoming teachers and community. It reminds me of how beautiful it is to look at the mountains around us. I sweat in the sculpt and power flow classes, relax in the reset + restore, feel-good, and sound meditations. Grateful to be a part of the community that Summer built!

This is a phenomenal studio. I spent a month in Kailua, resetting. For years, I've been wanting to do yoga consistently, and finding Yoga Under the Palms set the tone for my month. I feel so lucky to have found this studio, with its beautiful space and incredible instructors (shout out to Julianne and Courtney and Travis!) I was here at least every other day, and my yoga practice went from "shaky beginner" to "guy in touch with his physicality". I got back home, and realized my running and climbing had improved a lot, and I was missing and craving the practice I had learned here . Doing yoga with geckos scurrying around, in a gorgeous space, with a strong focus on community, with incredibly kind instructors - do yourself a favor and sign up.

I did the 2 week trial and really enjoyed it. I don't currently do yoga enough to sign up for the monthly membership, but I'll purchase a punch card for now. It's a really beautiful space, great vibes. I felt comfortable there even though I'm bad at yoga.

I don’t want it spoiled with tons of people but the place is magic. The instructor are caring, friendly and knowledgeable. The studio is well appointed with everything you could need and the shop and restaurant are a double bonus. Prices are great! And the community is better!

Yoga under the palms in Kailua is a beautiful and magical place. The covered patio outside facing the mountains creates a relaxing and tranquil mood for yoga classes. Before I started yoga classes, I was in pain (my leg and my back were hurting badly). After only 5 yoga classes, I experienced pain relief. After 4 weeks of attending yoga classes consistently, I am pain free. I also feel so much joy and happiness since I started yoga classes. To me it is miraculous. My Hatha yoga class with Jules was amazing. Travis's classes help me feel the sense of bliss while stay emotionally present. Summer's classes are fun and gentle. All of the teachers are absolutely spectacular. There is also a store where I bought a yoga mat, yoga outfit, incenses, most delicious deodorant, and sun screen lotion. I feel like a child in a candy store. There is also a vegetarian café with delicious sandwiches and other foods as well as healthy and delicious fresh juices. I love all the classes and feel so lucky that I found this magical yoga place under the palms. I highly recommend Yoga under the palms to everyone. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced level yoga student or practitioner, you will love the classes and the atmosphere.

This was in a good location in Kailua. I live on homestead in Waimānalo so it was not super close but next to everything in Kailua so I could run errands before and after. There was a mix of people in there which was nice but not super friendly but gave off the vibe of people on a mission to get in workout and go which I didn’t necessarily mind. Seems like mostly visitors or people who have moved to Hawaii living in Kailua mostly in the class. Overall the instructors were good that I had -4-5 different ones. I would say it is worth the money for a good yoga spot and the class availability was really nice so many time options which was my favorite part along with the upbeat music. I only tried 1 type of class corepower 2 which the classes flow quickly for majority of the class sometimes to quickly to not allow you to really fully get into the pose they are calling out in time. But the nice thing is you get in more cardio in your workout. The music and core section varied by instructor some were better than others.

Been coming to this studio for a year and love it. What makes it so amazing is the instructors/staff!! Chelsea always has a smile on her face when I walk in and teaches a great C2 class! Love Maka, Leah, & Jazz’s sculpt & CX is great with Hannah!!

Loved this location. Intimate and inviting but still allowed for personal space on the mat.My instructor was Linda. She was excellent in that she established a "come as you are" environment and I felt very comfortable following prompts while being guided through the flow. Music wasn't too loud and complimented the flow well. This was my very first hot yoga experience and thankfully, it was not so overwhelming that I'd be likely not to return. In fact, it was just challenging enough to convince myself that I am actually able to survive the heat. Looking forward to my next class!

I love this place. I was a little nervous at first to go try out a class because group exercise to me sounded a little bit uncomfortable and I had done virtually zero yoga in my life. The vibe at the studio is so chill and welcoming. No judginging from anyone. Just happy good energy people. I participated in the one-week free yoga and went to six classes during that week. Because of my schedule I stuck mostly with the 5:45 a.m. class which is such a fantastic morning workout. I did mostly the sculpt class. The heated room might sound like it would be uncomfortable; it actually feels wonderful. The facility is very clean and well-kept and sanitized after each use. Every single instructor I experienced had such motivating energy. The last class I took for the free trial was Emma's sculpt class and it felt sooo good to do those 75 push-ups through out the class (plus a few bonus push-ups added in). If that sounds crazy or intimidating, try out her class, you'll be surprised how she can motivate you to realize what you can do. I honestly think the price they ask for what they give you for the monthly membership is very fair and reasonable. I would love to join and go daily and the only thing holding me back from maybe joining is the drive there. I wish they had a studio in kaneohe (or I lived closer to them). I might still join, but want to let everyone at that studio know they have an awesome operation and if I don't join it's not anything negative about the operation. The study is perfect! Thank you! 😀

Absolutely love it! The teachers, the good environment, the fun classes. I look forward to my morning workouts every day. In only 3 weeks I've been able to see big changes in my body. I feel stronger, with more energy, and leaner (arm pic for reference, look at that defined muscle!!!!).

This Studio is a wonderful space full of friendly and beautiful (inside and out) people. The instructors are passionate and knowledgeable. Kalia has cultivated an environment where I felt safe, at peace, and very comfortable while equally challenging myself and building strength inside and out. Bella Kai's many different course offerings helped me find a class everyday depending on my body's need and my mood. Can't wait to go back to Bella Kai Hot Yoga! Also if you get the chance to have a session with Kalia, don't miss out! Her genuine and grounded presence encouraged me to pursue a healing session with her and WOW! I hadn't experienced lymphatic or cranial sacral methods of healing before and Kalia blew me away with her intuitive touch and graceful approach to my body's needs. The ambience was perfect, the oils she used in our session were high grade, and perfect lighting and music set the tone for an experience that was healing, profound, and beautiful. I look forward to another session, do visit her if you get the chance, you won't regret it!

We are in town every winter as Canadian Snowbirds and I found this place on based on its 5 star Google reviews. It did not disappoint us, furthermore, this place nurtured our love and understanding for yoga beyond what we had had before going there. Bella Kai is a dedicated yoga community where its instructors, owner, and other people all truly cared about building a passion, knowledge, experiences, wellbeing, and kindness for yoga together. This amazing place gave us even more reasons to come and enjoy this town besides its beautiful beaches and weather!

Are you looking to balance your physical, mental and spiritual well-being? Bella Kai is your moving meditation Mecca. I have found that all the teachers are thoughtful with their focus on the individual while cultivating beautiful energy for the studio. All feel welcomed and embraced no matter their experience level or limitations. You will find that the practice can be challenging and peaceful at the same time. I’m a cyclist and runner, and this practice helps me stay mobile and increases my stamina to do the things I love in a body/mind positive way. I always leave Bella Kai feeling I’ve been given a gift.

I just started my experience at Bella Kai yoga studio recently. I was introduced to the hot yoga practice. The instructors are wonderful. They teach in a caring and nurturing environment. The space is beautiful and comfortable. You are able to learn and practice at your own pace. I highly recommend Bella Kai Studio.

I've been practicing hot yoga for about 15 years, and have been a loyal client/yogi of Bella Kai for years. Since it became Bella Kai (after changing owners a few times), it's become a place of refuge for me. The yoga teachers know you by name and make you feel welcome and encouraged, whatever level you're at in your yoga journey. Prices are reasonable, it's ALWAYS clean (very important for me), and has a local "boutique" feel. I love the beautiful new studio and all the new offerings!! I seriously love this place.

Class was packed full of lovely people who clearly love this place and their practice. Not a snooty yoga studio! 🤗 The teacher taught with simplicity and clarity and led an energizing class. I loved the music, energy, and extra heat. I’m pretty picky about my yoga teachers and I definitely would come back for more if I lived here! I was grateful they had a mat to borrow (that was pretty clean, they hose extra mats down between classes).

I did my first reiki session last month and I can’t wait to go back. Comfort, calm, enlightenment and peace are the things I needed and it was exactly what was delivered. After my session I felt lifted and the ability to breathe and find myself again. I then had my three kids have their own sessions and they were met with the same response. The warmth and honest nature of Niki was life changing. Take a class or sign up for a reiki session, I promise you will not regret it!

what a special sanctuary nestled in Kailua town. Nikki is one of the best teachers i have ever had. They have meditation classes and hot yoga. It has been a treat to practice here.

I found Hot Yoga By The Sea by chance and I’m so grateful I did! My first class here was a Meditation 101 class, only a month ago. I was unsure of what to expect going in but was very excited about the new experience. I’m someone who has high-functioning anxiety and is never able to shut my mind up no matter how hard I try. However in this class, I felt peace like never before!! I left feeling like a whole new person and was riding that high for days after! Niki is incredible, knowledgeable, and kind! Everyone in the community is also so welcoming, which I was thankful for as a newbie attending on my own. I’m still new to this studio but I have absolutely loved every experience I’ve had so far. I leave every time excited for the next class!

I can't say enough amazing things about Nicki & her studio! It is SO MUCH MORE then a hot yoga class. Before every class she takes the time to read passages from spiritual books, speak affirmations, or share some type of high vibe/good energy words of wisdom/inspiration/love/positivity. In each class she incorporates a different mix of Chanting, Breath Work, Aromatherapy, Sound Healing, Tapping, Energy Healing & more! She also offers sound baths on non yoga class days & workshops, reiki & more. I've done yoga all over this island, the other Hawaiian islands and across multiple states on the mainland and NO STUDIO compares to Hot Yoga by the Sea. The ambiance in the studio is also so amazing with all her cool hanging lights & spiritual decor. I always recommend everyone I know to come practice here & I highly recommend you come check it out for your yourself!! There's so much more I'm not writing about my experiences with Nicki but I'll leave that for you to experience!!

Kundalini Yoga Class Review ( Saturday 10:30 am) Being a caregiver for over 30 years to a service-connected disabled veteran, and dealing with the challenges of the VA system, almost led me to a physical and mental breakdown. Misleading information within the VA system made it even harder, but finding this Kundalini Yoga class changed everything for me—it gave me a renewed sense of purpose and helped me heal tremendously. I highly recommend this class to all caregivers. It has made a profound difference in my life. After half a year of consistent practice, I’ve embraced positive affirmations like, "I am the best of the best," "I am the self-care queen," and "I am perfect for myself." These words have transformed my energy, and I believe they are so important for maintaining a positive mindset. Honestly, if people put my words on a T-shirt, they could make a fortune! I make it a priority to attend every Saturday because it keeps me grounded and focused. As a veteran caregiver, I’m passionate about helping others navigate the VA system and ensuring they receive the maximum benefits for their loved ones. The VA has excellent long-term care programs for service-connected disabled veterans, but unfortunately, many families are not informed due to a lack of training within the VA and misleading information. I don’t want others to face the same struggles I did, and I believe I can help guide you through it. If you are a caregiver, I encourage you to come to this class. Your life will be different, just like mine. I’ve used ChatGPT to interview a few yoga practitioners and instructors about their experiences with Kundalini Yoga. Here’s what they had to say: 1. Kundalini Yoga is a way to deeply connect back with the truth of who you are, really coming through the physical world back into sort of that energetic body that we all come into this world with. And it's also a very effective way to reset the nervous system, to help us deal with the stressors and chaos of everyday life and find calm. 2. This class as a place to help me concentrate on doing yoga every day. So the more I can concentrate on it, the more I incorporate it into all my movement each day. 3. If you want to feel amazing, do Kundalini Yoga.

My wife and I have attended classes at Blue Lotus since 2017. We have always found it to be a place of knowledge, professionalism, and serenity. Our favorite instructor, Jenn R., is the consummate teacher. She is always keeping abreast of the latest knowledge and sharing it with us. She has weathered the COVID period, offering online classes and in studio classes as the Tier level permitted. She remains optimistic and has buoyed our spirits through this rough past year. As a business Blue Lotus will survive and deserves to because of all the positive energy the staff has put into its survival. If you haven't tried Blue Lotus before , give it a try. It will totally be worth your time!

I have been coming here since 2016. I love the clean beautiful studio with the nice breeze. The variety of classes is amazing, not just Yoga classes but fitness classes as well! The prices are very reasonable and you can do classes in person, online or on demand....so no excuses for me! The instructors are great and very friendly. I especially love my instructor Jennifer Reuter who really knows her stuff. I like that she teaches us about the physiology of our bodies so we understand why the moves we do are important and how it positively affects our bodies. I appreciate how Jen adapted so quickly during Covid 19 so we could continue our practice at home with Zoom. Don't know what I would have done without Yoga classes to keep me sane. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Blue Lotus Kailua is truly a special place...it’s where I have been practicing yoga since I move to Hawaii. Spacious, welcoming and clean studio, a wide variety of challenging classes, excellent teachers, ample parking....couldn’t ask for more! I especially appreciate the fact that Blue Lotus took advantage of Zoom technology to keep classes going through the pandemic. I’m hoping that, once the pandemic is under control and all restrictions lifted, they will continue to offer virtual options. Blue Lotus Kailua is definitely my “go to” for all things zen and yogi.

I have been taking classes at Aloha Yoga Kula 3-6 times a week for the past 7 years. They are fantastic! The quality of the teachers is truly excellent. Lately I've been attending Brigitte and Rebecca's classes which I love. I've also taken yoga classes in other places in the country such as New York City and San Francisco. I find the classes at the Kula to be really superior to any I've found elsewhere. If you're looking for great yoga classes in a lovely setting this is your place!
