Are you looking for your tribe? I am a novice, but can assure you, you can find it on the mat at Hot Yoga Columbia. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Shelby and the wonderful yoga class she leads. From the moment I walked into her studio, I could feel her passion and love for yoga radiating throughout the space. It’s not just a class, it’s a community, and Shelby creates an environment where everyone feels welcome, no matter their experience level. As someone who is new to yoga, I was a little nervous at first, unsure of what to expect or if I’d even be able to keep up. But Hot Yoga Columbia made me feel comfortable and supported from day one. They are incredibly attentive to each person’s needs, always offering modifications and adjustments to make sure that everyone gets the most out of their practice, no matter where they’re starting from. What truly sets Shelby apart, though, is her genuine care for her students. After I sustained an injury, she was the first to offer me the option to put my class on hold without any hesitation. I’ve been to other studios and gyms, but I’ve never encountered that level of compassion and understanding. She didn’t just care about my attendance or my membership; she cared about my health and well-being, and that made all the difference! Yoga has done wonders for me, both mentally and physically. It has helped me build strength, flexibility, and balance, but it’s also given me the tools to manage stress, quiet my mind, and feel more grounded in my everyday life. I never thought I’d experience such a transformation, but with the the Hot Yoga Columbia ladies, I’ve grown in ways I never expected. If you’re looking for a yoga class where you’ll feel supported, encouraged, and inspired, I highly recommend Shelby’s studio. It’s not just a place to practice yoga, it’s a place where you can grow, heal, and truly feel at home. Thank you, Shelby, for everything you do. Your passion for yoga is a gift, and it’s made such a positive impact on my life.

Barre babes; Bonfires; and Bingo! I love this space so much… and the people even more! My second home. My safe space. My community. The instructors are dynamite and offer 110% of themselves to welcome you and guide you through practice and play safely! They cheer for you— in and out of the studio! The classes are fresh and challenging to keep you engaged and coming back for more! Happy 1 Year Anniversary to HYC!

I became a yoga girlie in June 2023, and honestly, it changed my life. As a former collegiate athlete with 18 years of competitive soccer experience, my workouts were always intense and demanding. Discovering yoga was the first time I found a workout I genuinely enjoyed. It calmed my nervous system and taught me the power of mindful breathing. Over the past year, my anxiety has significantly decreased, and I’ve found a supportive community that inspires and uplifts each other. You can’t take a bad class. Every teacher is amazing, kind, and wants to see you grow. To say I’m obsessed with @hotyogacolumbiatn is an understatement. 🧘🏻♀️🫶🏼✨

Excellent experience; they offer all types of classes ranging from beginners, intermediate, and experienced. Wanting to wind down from a stressful day? They got it. A good workout with a feeling of accomplishment? Yup! Wanna sweat your a** off until you're not sure if that's tears or sweat? They got that too. The instructors are amazing and friendly. Willing to work with you to get the best possible experience. They also have a pretty affordable price for the amount of experience you can get as well. Don't hesitate like I did, do it!

Lotus Rising Yoga has 2 beautiful studio spaces; one in Spring Hill and one in Columbia. They both have amazing energy and teachers. You can find movement that brings you peace or fires your soul (or abs, however you want to look at it). The owner, Kelley, along with her staff, will help guide you perfectly into YOUR practice. I love this studio. I'm forever grateful for this space.

I am so glad Kelley was able to expand Lotus Rising Yoga studio into Columbia. I usually attend the Spring Hill location but I just love this new space as well. It gives me the ability to attend a variety of classes on a daily basis. All of the instructors are so welcoming. No matter what your skill level is, you can adapt to each class. It is good for my mind, body and soul. It is a true “yoga” studio. Give it a try, I think you’re going to love it!

My name is Geoff and my wife and I are currently practicing at Lotus Rising in Columbia. I continue to have great experiences with each and every class I attend. It is a fantastic atmosphere and all the teachers are amazing. Not once have I ever felt overwhelmed or self conscious about my practice. I am constantly learning new things and continue to work on my practice knowing that it’s always changing day to day. I very much enjoy every class I attend and will continue to practice at Lotus Rising. So thankful for the Columbia location!

My daughter was moving out and I knew I had to busy myself to remain sane. I found Lotus Rising at the perfect time. I started with the unlimited pass and signed mom up too. My advice is to start with the unlimited pass, take as many classes as possible and find what feels best for you. It's been 4 months and I look forward to stepping away from the world into the safe space of the studio to focus back on myself and breathing a couple of times a week. There's never any judgment and all levels are welcome, I know it has been beneficial for me. I anticipate my yoga days and I feel accomplished after, give it a try. Namaste!

I enjoyed every class I participated in. I bought a 10 pass access and I only used 5 passes. After 3 months they canceled my passes and I am unable to get anyone on the phone to understand why? The experience was good but the business side needs improvement its the 21st century for christ sakes. Sad customer 🙁
