This is truly the most disgusting studio for cleanliness that I have ever been to. The core power studios in the city of Chicago do not have a real cleaning staff and something should be done about it. The CEO, Niki Leondakis, of this company should come take a look and see how nasty this place is kept up. This corporation needs to hire a real cleaning service across all studio locations. Since Niki used to work as the CEO for the Ritz and Equinox, she should know what a clean place should look like. The men’s bathroom is in complete disrepair. It is never cleaned. Showers are broken and piss all over the floor. The studios are not never cleaned with a vacuum and there is hair and dust all over the studio floor. Mirrors in the studios frequently are not cleaned and have sweat all over them. At best your membership pays for the instructors and otherwise you would be better joining another place like Equinox, Midtown or FFC where they actually have a third party cleaning service to keep their fitness centers clean.

The facility is clean and modern. The studio was quite warm even though it was a non-heated class. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Great workouts from specific instructors across Core Power Locations. The difference with this location is the cleanliness. The men’s locker room has mold in the showers, soap dispensers and overall is skeevy (walking barefoot is a risk!). For an organization that should pride itself on hygiene and keeping their customer safe and healthy this location is lacking attention and support for regular cleaning. I hope it gets addressed soon - looks to be an ongoing issue. FYI this would be a 5 star review if about the instructors.

This place is terrible. The “yoga” is more like a fitness class. I’ve been to several locations and the west loop studio is by far the worst. Rude staff. Other yoga studios I’ve been to are more positive, supportive, and encouraging. This place is run by mean girls. Definitely not renewing after my month is up.

I took my first CorePower class with a friend a couple weeks ago in West Loop; The staff were so friendly and helpful right when I came in. They definitely eased that awkward "hi I'm new here" feeling. And the yoga sculpt class was great! Perfect mix of yoga, cardio and weights and really allowed me to cater to my body to take breaks/go lighter/etc.

Amazing view with windows facing the skyline make for a great session! Unfortunately with all the windows- that also means that the rooms get INCREDIBLY hot! Even for non-heated classes the rooms have sometimes been unbearably hot making some classes difficult to participate in. Instructors are great, plenty of parking available, bike parking at ground level also available. Wish they’d have a way to cool rooms off more effectively at this location.

This is not just a yoga studio, It's a Yoga Family and Community. When I was looking for a spot to deepen my practice, I wanted to feel like I belonged, build friendships and challenge myself. YogaSix Hyde Park offers all of this. Honestly the people and vibes here are everything. The teachers, owner, manager, staff are genuinely beautiful humans who want to learn your name and make you feel welcome. Music is a huge part of my practice, and the playlists here are always 🔥 Power is my favorite, but I also love sculpt, hot and restore depending on your mood. They also offer cute extras like weekend sound baths and workshops, and it's a black owned, woman owned business 👏 Deeply grateful for this studio and the yogi fam who help me grow my practice.

My first contact was the receptionists, all of which were friendly, and accommodating as I was given the general information regarding the facility. I forgot my water, and I had cash but I think receptionists stated “no cash accepted.” I didn’t have my credit card and I notice there was not a water cooler/fountain. Next time I won’t forget my own water. Would be nice if 3oz water bottles are on stash. My instructor on this early Saturday morning is awesome! Sorry, forgot his name. Saturday, 9:30 am class. However, I felt the ambience of low lights, and the music was very soothing. I was ready to follow the melodic rhythmnic instructions of my instructor, as his transition his students from pose to pose. Yes, I was challenged, but I stuck with the process. I will come back, for the facility is very clean, neat and organized. The staff is very professional and I felt like this is where I belong to help with my health goals. Carol Butcher, LSW.

My girlfriend has been going here for years and asked me to go with her. I must say I was a bit nervous about the whole yoga experience. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by how welcoming it is though! No stress. No judgements. No feeling like I need to kill myself to keep up. My pace. Just a clean, professional and accepting studio. The instructors really know their stuff and the staff is just perfect. Just great dang people! Now I'm new to yoga but I am kind of athletic. I bike a bit, walk a lot and take care of myself in general so this was a great discovery for staying in shape as I get older. Thank you so much Yoga6. You guys always give me such a great experience. Keep doing it! Keep going.

I was just in town for a few days and selected this local yoga spot for two practices. It’s spotless and spacious inside and the temperature is just right, not too hot or too cold. Jennifer led a beginners class which I enjoyed very much. We went through multiple poses but took the time to really understand them based on her excellent instruction. I found it both relaxing and helpful! Izzy led the second class I took which was more challenging for sure but accessible for a beginner such as myself. Izzy kindly offered some help but I didn’t slow down the excellent pace. I made it through the entire hour and felt excellent afterward all day! Progress! Life is good with unique excellent local yoga!

I have been coming here for a month. The Neuro-Yoga Institute teaches the true essence of yoga where you are working on both the physical and mental bodies so that you can tap into your highest potential. You will not just learn movements here. I experience a holistic healing with every class. I also love that Izzy teaches how to integrate the practice.

This yoga studio has had such a positive impact on my life. I started coming six months ago after struggling with anxiety which led to some very real health problems. My doctor recommended deep breathing and I heard this studio focused on that. What I found is a warm, inclusive environment and thoughtful, patient teaching. My health, both mental and physical, has improved drastically since coming here. I highly recommend coming, even if you think yoga isn’t for you. Izzy (the main teacher) has such a unique and valuable approach. You won’t regret it.

I love going to Neuro-Yoga Institute as muy regular routine. Ever since I been going there around 1 plus year now; I have noticed a big change in my life and my health. Izzy, Lola and Claudia are very welcoming and knowledgeable instructors. I also love the fact that is bilingual Spanish/English to help others to join in and understand the benefits of yoga and wellbeing. I definitely recommend it for everyone to give it a try and begin to learn to breathe and see yoga in a different way.

I was a Wildlight fangirl long before I joined the community officially in early 2023. I have been inspired from the start by the mission, vision, and values of the studio, along with all the creative ways Wildlight has worked to build community. I bought a prop pack for home practice early in the pandemic and found myself keeping an eye on the way the studio has grown and evolved over time. The expansion the studio space was my call to become more involved, both as staff, as a community member and more recently as a yoga teacher in-training. Wildlight offers community engagement at all levels—from the 8 different styles of yoga classes, to events and workshops, trainings, healing sessions for self discovery and even retreats. Wildlight is building bridges for connection, healing, and adventure through and through. I recommend this studio to any curious soul who is looking for a place where your presence is honored, regardless of where you are in your journey. There is a space for you on the mat and in the community to learn from the spiritual practices that have impacted those who hold space there. It’s a place where you will always feel welcomed and appreciated. There are many entry points for people, the classes are inclusive and trauma informed (which is really important to me) and there are equitable options which promote accessibility. In short, this is a woman owned + run studio and worthy of supporting!

PLEASE SUPPORT ❤️❤️❤️

Wildlight Yoga is my Happy Place! I have been a member for a few years now, and I’ve watched the studio Blossom. The community is so welcoming, kind, and friendly. If you have been practicing for a long time or if you’re brand new, don’t hesitate to come to a class. The teachers will meet you at your skill level. Wildlight offers a variety of class types so you can try something new until you find the style that fits you. There is also a good selection of events. These are fun experiences that allow you to explore different areas of yoga, like a sound bath! Which I highly recommend…

Wildlight is such a lovely place. Everyone there is so kind, welcoming, and generous. They offer a wide array of yoga and meditation classes and are doing some really cool things with their space to build community. I really appreciate that many of their yoga classes are slower paced and they really help you focus on your own practice and connecting with your body. I love the shop with interesting artists and second hand yoga gear. The studio is big and bright and always clean and has such a warm inviting vibe with plants and a community altar! Plus, they have offices you can work at and it seems like such a cozy and relaxing space to work in. They host really cool events as well!

I came upon Wildlight through their generous FREE yoga classes at the Jefferson Park Farmers Market this summer. A rainy Sunday a few weeks back helped introduce me to their brick and mortar, which then lead me to join for the Sound Bath they hosted just yesterday. Wonderful space, teachers, community, vibe. I can tell they're going to help me flow through the winter this year, I'll be starting with their well-priced Adventure Pass in November to try all their classes and offerings.

This is the new, post-pandemic iteration of what used to be Beverly Yoga Studio. Classes take place in a beautifully redecorated classroom on the upper floor of a lovely little stone church. There is plenty of natural light as well as leafy treetops. The instructors are knowledgeable and experienced, each with a slightly different focus or style, but not dogmatic about any one particular school of Yoga. All ages and body types are warmly welcomed here, in this place of healing and caring for self, others, and the world around us. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Zen Yoga Garage is simply the best! So many reasons to love it! I appreciate that they offer so many different class choices throughout any given day, ranging from a variety of hard-core workout classes like Hot, Vinyassa, and Barre, to extremely relaxing evening sessions of Yin, Nidra, and Restorative. The range of class choices is unsurpassed compared to other studios I have been to. I am so grateful I discovered this wonderful yoga community, right in the heart of Wicker Park, Chicago. I've been here a couple of weeks and the best time for me is early in the morning to do yoga or exercise. The morning classes are different from one another since the teachers are different every day. I like this because I want to be able to change it around but with the same schedule. I just signed up for the unlimited classes so I'll be coming back, there are a couple of teachers who cue the poses very well while a couple of others are still in the process of doing that. Plenty of classes to choose from, traditional to workout type, will keep coming back. Plenty of Paid parking, or park around the corner for free, showers are available and you can rent the mats if you need to.

I have been to a few other studios in the area and this is the best so far. Very pleasant front desk staff, knowledgeable teachers, great amenities, consistent schedule. My only remark (not a complaint) is that some classes are too pilates-y. For example, the the 12 o'clock one- no need for endless squats when you have a proven, milenia-old, discipline, that helps you tone your body and maintain/lose weight (I am living proof :) ). Let's flow more and squat less. Can't wait for my next class.

LOVE Ritual Hot Yoga!!! The hottest & darkest yoga studio in Chicago - truly nothing else quite like it. The instructors are incredibly welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. You can show up completely empty-handed as they have everything you could possibly need and more in-studio (mats, towels, deodorant, hairties, water bottles, showers, etc). Ritual offers both challenging, fast-paced flows and slow restorative classes. Highly, highly recommend!

I absolutely love Ritual Hot Yoga! Their yoga classes are truly unlike anything else I’ve ever tried and I highly recommend them. Their classes are so fun, engaging and incorporate mindfulness techniques to help you relax and unwind. The entire experience is so well thought out and the teachers are the best in the business. You get hands on assistance in class to help you grow your practice, they offer private lessons and the studio itself has all the supplies (mats, water bottles, cooling towelettes, luxurious showers) you could ever need. I’ve tried so many workout classes and nothing compares to Ritual. I recommend Ritual to everyone I know and I can’t say enough good things about this studio! An amazing addition to the Wicker Park neighborhood!

Today was my first time at Ritual, and second time doing hot yoga after my friend convinced me to join her via ClassPass. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so welcome and nice, which made me feel so comfortable as I’m such a beginner. The owner herself even walked us through what to grab, how to set up our mats, etc. Christian was our instructor and his energy and choice of music really made the class that much better. The atmosphere of the dark room makes it easier to relax and feel comfortable, as again, I’m a beginner and was a little nervous on how my flexibility and skills would be compared to others. But everyone even in the class was so nice and I walked out with a new friend. I can’t wait to come back and I can’t recommend this place enough. Plus there’s 2 little dogs, so that’s always a plus :)

If you're looking for a new yoga home, look no further! Ritual is everything that the other yoga studios in Wicker Park/Bucktown aren't (trust me, I've tried them all). It's an inclusive, ego-free space and everyone here (staff/community) makes me feel so welcome. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and talented, the classes are challenging but they level them out so you can get the most out of each class, and the studio itself has everything you need.

I appreciated her genuineness and friendliness. The classes are affordable and the space is wonderful! I love that the space feels secure and welcoming. Julia definitely put thought and love into the kind of studio she wanted to establish. There are many programs for FREE classes and community engagement/outreach. I love it! They offer many kinds of classes and times, so you can try new things and find what fits you. And this place is CLEAN. There are several showers available, lockers, and an area for seating if you arrive early. Plenty of parking too! I'm so grateful to have found a new place to practice. Love this place! It’s quaint and clean and smells like aromatherapy. The instructors have been great! Yin Yoga: I really enjoyed Jenni. Her pleasant and sweet demeanor made the class amazing! Long stretches and breathing control. Heated Vinyasa: this class was super upbeat, with Meg. Boy do I sweat like crazy and feel muscles where I didn’t know there were any. Hahaha. Guided Yoga: this was great as well with Jackie. It wasn’t as fast paced as vinyasa but still was a great workout. I really enjoyed it. This review is specifically for Claire B - it was my first time at CorePower ever but not my first hot yoga class, Claire had the MOST welcoming radiant energy. She showed me around the studio before leading such a fun class. It was challenging but accessible, balanced strength and stretching, and had a great playlist. Her energy was truly so much fun during the class. She even checked in with me after the class to see if I liked my first experience. This class is not close to me but I plan on still making my way back there just to take another class with her. Highly recommend for newbies and experienced yogis alike!!
