I’ve been training at Motive Training for over a year now and it’s been an incredible experience. Brian, the owner, is one of a kind. He’s an incredible listener and genuinely committed to reducing pain and helping his clients see real results. His knowledge of the body is unmatched – he’s like a walking encyclopedia on movement, recovery, and technique, and it’s clear he’s a master at what he does. Motive recently opened a new facility that is equipped with brand-new equipment and the atmosphere is welcoming and motivating. With an emphasis on 1-on-1 focus, every session feels tailored to your needs. Brian has helped me rehab multiple injuries that no chiropractor or cortisone shot could fix, and I can’t express enough gratitude for how much he’s improved my quality of life. I came here with hip tightness and lower body pain and I felt brand new after just one session with Brian. He prescribed me exercises and movements that have really alleviated my pain. He's created a very comfortable environment to help work on my fitness goals and I can't recommend enough.

Can’t recommend Motive enough! Brian is knowledgeable, patient and clearly passionate about what he does. He and his team helped me address chronic lower back pain that was really impacting my quality of life. Thanks to their guidance, I’ve seen a significant improvement. I started training with Brian because I had chronic stiffness in my lower back and tight hips. I felt like I was unable to move around comfortably including getting out of bed or my car. It was impacting my way of life. As someone who has worked in the fitness industry and has done personal training in the past, I love how thorough he was conducting his evaluation on how my body was moving. He listened to my concerns and understood what my goals were. Brian is very knowledgeable about the body and I appreciate him explaining the routines and the purpose behind the movements. One of the most important reasons I love training at Motive is that they truly care about their clients down to a personal level and will always meet you where you are at physically and mentally. Brian and his team have created a wonderful community for their clients and I highly recommend training here. I look forward to training with Brian!

I’ve been getting personal training at Heavy Mettle for almost two months and I’ve had phenomenal results in gaining strength and adding muscle. Matt has helped me with my nutrition and overall fitness plan. My personal trainer Kevin is pushing me every day to reach the goals I’ve set. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my results and highly recommend Heavy Mettle to anyone really serious about getting fit. They truly work with you and are very flexible with your workout schedule.

I've been going to Heavy Mettle Fitness for three months and I am very happy with the knowledge and experience I've gained so far with weight training. Emma is outstanding! I have a few health issues that she has always been able to creatively accommodate-- we never run out of modifications for my physical limitations. Emma is also just a lovely person which makes our time together fly by each session! Also appreciate Matt's responsiveness, and I like that payment is quick and easy. Great for my busy schedule.

Highly highly recommend Heavy Mettle Fitness to anyone looking for a personal trainer in Austin! I started working with Kevin a few months ago, and have nothing but great things to say about him and all the trainers. As someone who didn't know what to expect when it came to working with a trainer, I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and comfortable I felt. Everyone is super friendly, non-judgmental, and the one-on-one instruction has been helpful in learning proper form with all the movements. The team is also very accommodating in finding the best days/times that work for a busy schedule and put together workouts based on your goals. I appreciate how nothing is forced either. Whether you have no prior knowledge about fitness and need them to do all the guiding, or already have particular areas you want to focus on and need them to hone in on those. They will cater to whatever your needs/limitations are and offer a healthy amount of encouragement along the way! It has been worth every penny!!!

I am going on my third month of training at Heavy Mettle Fitness and I couldn’t recommend them more if you are looking to achieve your fitness goals. On my first visit I met Matt who helped set me up with a tailored fitness and nutrition plan as well as introducing me to my trainer Steven. I have seen great improvements in strength as well as body composition following their guidance both inside and out of the gym. So long as you are willing to put in the work on your end, they will be there to support and assist you every step of the way with their knowledge and experience. The gym itself is kept very clean and organized and you will never find yourself waiting on equipment during your training sessions.
