This gym is my escape from the daily hustle and bustle - it is my serenity. Training here helps me mentally, physically, and emotionally. The gym is truly family oriented. From kids classes to BBQs to ice bath challenges. The owners also do public reach outs and teach self defense for schools and business in the area. Super cool. If you’re looking for a place to get in shape, not be judged and have fun. This is the place to be.

My daughter has trained with Mike for over 4 years now. In the last year she's been training with both Mike and Lauren. She was a quiet, shy child at 12 years old with low confidence and lots of anxiety. She is now 16, confident, has great friendships and better coping skills. She's grown and come out of her shell so much because these coaches make the kids feel seen, valued and genuinely loved. My daughter also has a medical condition that makes training difficult and the coaches are amazing, they learned about what signs to look for and what her body tells them so they force her to take breaks or do frequent checks with her while training. It's a great program. They treat you like family and work with you in every way. This is a class my daughter never hesitates to get up for and attend. Mike and Lauren are a dream team for coaching.

I take my daughter here for classes about three times a week, and she loves it! They are great people and everyone else I met there is friendly. I would recommend taking your kids here for training. They actually teach your kids how to move and spend one on one time with them for instruction. My daughter loves it and when my youngest is old enough she will join the class too. Again great couches and very patient! Update!!!! They also throw great children's birthday parties!!! I would recommend!!!!!!

Genuine crowd w/ genuine skills. Dropped in for a sparring event and was not disappointed whatsoever. The people were welcoming and the workout/training was what I’d expect of a competitive gym!

Great place to keep your body/mind at ease. My two daughters and myself have been going to King Street for a few months now. It is rewarding to see how we have all grown even with the different level of experience in the Arts. From kids, beginner, womens and technical classes King Steet has the ability to teach it in the right way. There is plenty of experience in different areas of combative arts to go around with all the coaches and all the classes flow together very nicely. I find that no matter the level of experience there is no ego even in there sparing on Saturday. Everyone work hard to keep there partner true with out making it into a ego match. This can be very rare for a gym that has true fighter. I find King Street to be a very respectful place not only at there home but at other gyms they visited. Thank you owner and coaches we are really enjoying this pathway of improving ourselves at your gym!

My 5 year old son and I joined the droog family about a month ago, my son loves his coaches and has fun and is motivated to keep learning. This is my first martial arts experience, AJ, Cat, Emily, and Dan made us feel welcome, all the other members/practitioners are welcoming and it’s like a home away from home. They are all phenomenal coaches and practitioners. We are excited to keep going.

Cat & AJ do such a fantastic job at explaining things in a way that is easy for beginners to understand. The overall gym culture they have cultivated is so welcoming and supportive. This place should honestly be studied as an example of how to build team spirit and a positive learning environment. On that note, this gym does a great job at supporting female Jiu jitsu athletes. I look forward to women’s class every month :-)

Visiting PA from CA and looking for a place to train for me and my two kids(ages 10 and 8) to train for the day. Staff/instructors were friendly and welcoming. The facility was clean and well organized. After the paperwork was done we were given a tour. There is a waiting area, coffee station and large locker/changing rooms with restroom and showers. Kids training was great. Instructors:kid ratio was perfect and all the kids got individual attention to ensure they understand the technique or moves. At the end they did a fun game or two with movements that had applications to training. Kids had a blast. Adult class was also well structured with a great variety of training partners with differing skill levels. After learning the technique and specific training from that position we went into sparring. I didn't feel like anyone was trying to rip my arms off or send me home missing ligaments which is a concern whenever you train somewhere new. Afterwards I did a private lesson with AJ and he was very clear in his directions and worked through multiple scenarios I would encounter with each technique. After we were done he even explained a few extra concepts and techniques to me and my training partner. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area and wish I could have trained more than just the one day. But it was a great experience.

The best martial gym I've trained at with high level competitors, friendly atmosphere, and great instructors for both grappling and striking. Your making a mistake if your never train at Droogs!

Being brand new to jiu jitsu, I was super intimidated at first to start but all four coaches made me feel welcomed and most importantly safe. They have all been super patient with not just me but everyone, new or seasoned, they are so genuine and have put so much thought and passion into their gym and their lessons. I don't think I could've found a better gym to start training at.
