My 5 year old son and I joined the droog family about a month ago, my son loves his coaches and has fun and is motivated to keep learning. This is my first martial arts experience, AJ, Cat, Emily, and Dan made us feel welcome, all the other members/practitioners are welcoming and it’s like a home away from home. They are all phenomenal coaches and practitioners. We are excited to keep going.

Cat & AJ do such a fantastic job at explaining things in a way that is easy for beginners to understand. The overall gym culture they have cultivated is so welcoming and supportive. This place should honestly be studied as an example of how to build team spirit and a positive learning environment. On that note, this gym does a great job at supporting female Jiu jitsu athletes. I look forward to women’s class every month :-)

Visiting PA from CA and looking for a place to train for me and my two kids(ages 10 and 8) to train for the day. Staff/instructors were friendly and welcoming. The facility was clean and well organized. After the paperwork was done we were given a tour. There is a waiting area, coffee station and large locker/changing rooms with restroom and showers. Kids training was great. Instructors:kid ratio was perfect and all the kids got individual attention to ensure they understand the technique or moves. At the end they did a fun game or two with movements that had applications to training. Kids had a blast. Adult class was also well structured with a great variety of training partners with differing skill levels. After learning the technique and specific training from that position we went into sparring. I didn't feel like anyone was trying to rip my arms off or send me home missing ligaments which is a concern whenever you train somewhere new. Afterwards I did a private lesson with AJ and he was very clear in his directions and worked through multiple scenarios I would encounter with each technique. After we were done he even explained a few extra concepts and techniques to me and my training partner. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area and wish I could have trained more than just the one day. But it was a great experience.

The best martial gym I've trained at with high level competitors, friendly atmosphere, and great instructors for both grappling and striking. Your making a mistake if your never train at Droogs!

Being brand new to jiu jitsu, I was super intimidated at first to start but all four coaches made me feel welcomed and most importantly safe. They have all been super patient with not just me but everyone, new or seasoned, they are so genuine and have put so much thought and passion into their gym and their lessons. I don't think I could've found a better gym to start training at.
