I love the megaformers and instructors at this location. The workouts can be a bit challenging but very effective and shakes are guaranteed. Good & fun music to put you in the workout mood and focus. It’s clean and well ventilated. Easy parking experience, validation provided. Highly recommend!

Arts District is the best Lagree location in my opinion. Parking is easy and there's plenty of coffee and restaurants nearby for an after class pick-me-up. The instructors here are really great. Don't be afraid to speak up if you're ever unsure during class!

Started my Lagree journey here, great studio. I was staying in DTLA for a month and did a first time unlimited package. Loved the teachers, it’s a clean space and the location is super easy. In NorCal the classes are only 40 minutes so will say I definitely prefer the 45 min format. Can’t wait to come back.

Great instructors, clean machines and such a great workout! This studio fosters a great sense of community and that is one of the reasons I invested in a membership early on in my discover of lagree. The classes offer so much variation that they never become boring or repetitive. The experienced instructors allow for people of all skill level of lagree to get in a touch and effective workout. A few of my favorites instructors are Natalee, Juanita & Kayla.

This is the best location with a parking lot! I’ve been going here ever since I first took a free class at their smaller/older studio in the same plaza. So nice to see it expand and the classes challenge me so much. You forget about everything for 45 minutes and just feel so accomplished at the end!

First impressions: kind welcoming people, very clean establishment, program is measurable, progressive, and structured fun. The coaches care and the owner is quite a genuinely caring person. Of all the gym I’ve explored in LA this one feels good to be at. 10/10

My first thoughts as I walked in, “This is a box!”. CF Muse had a fantastic atmosphere, an outstanding owner/coach, and programming true to CrossFit. The gym’s values and approach to health and fitness reminded me why I fell in love with the fitness modality years ago. CF Muse will continue to be my drop-in gym whenever I’m in the area. Looking forward to working out with you all in the future!!

Dropped in while in LA for a work conference and so so happy I did! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and the warm up was one of the best I’ve ever done!! I had so much fun on a challenging but fun WOD and the coach and some members gave me some amazing tips on my BMU and suddenly I was able to get my arms to turn over 🤭 Highly recommend going here! Great energy, welcoming people, challenging WODs, and top notch coaching!

I was looking for a nice gym to stop into on my work trip to Culver City and I’m so so happy I did. Really pleased with the entire experience of GymTonic. Machines are brand new and are relevant machines that are sought after such as Hip Thrust, Hack Squats, etc. It was so clean and full of amenities - including a sauna, towel warmer, the best filtered water dispenser, meditation room. The locker rooms were equipped with toiletries and various feminine products. Overall I was impressed at the variety of equipment and amenities there - and it wasn’t too busy and overwhelming when I went. I would definitely recommend this gym. Lastly the customer service was amazing. Grace at the front desk welcomed me with such warmth and kindness. Really appreciated that energy walking into a new gym. Thank you Grace ♥️

This is hands down the best gym in the LA area! Good vibes and energy from the staff and other gym members. I never had to wait in line for a machine and the gym itself was always very clean. Mark was amazing, he helped sign me up initially and answered any questions I had. When I was in a stressful situation with relocating for a my job suddenly, Dakota made the cancelation process easy. I am so sad I had to cancel my membership here but if I’m ever back in the area I will 1,000% be returning! This truly is the most genuine gym community, which is difficult to find in the LA area. I mostly strength train and they had all the necessary equipment to get the job done. I was able to take the restorative yoga class with Claire and that was the most relaxed I have been in a long time, highly recommend! I could go on forever about how amazing this gym and the staff is. Even though I was only a member for a short period of time, it was a great experience all around. Thank you gym tonic!

So far it’s been great, been going here a month. The gym is boutique, not a national Gym like equinox, but is never over-crowded and often you can do exactly what you came in to do. You still get all the attention and people knew my name within a week, very cool. I like the couple classes and love how clean everything is and that all the weights are always put away. If I have a gripe, it’s that I wish the gym app could better integrate with my trainer but even big name gyms like lifetime and equinox didn’t have that but it’s the only “con” I could think of! Very happy to be here.

As a new member of Gym Tonic, I’m not entirely satisfied. One of the main reasons I joined was the outdoor turf, but it’s not accessible during all business hours as I was initially told. The turf is connected to the gym through two large garage doors, which must remain closed if the weather is deemed "too hot" or "too cold" to maintain indoor temperatures. Members can only use the turf when the doors are open, making access entirely dependent on the outdoor temperature. Even if a member agrees to keep the doors closed while using the turf, staff are not allowed to grant access. I’ve encountered this issue during early morning workouts when it’s cooler, and despite offering to keep the doors shut, I was still denied access. There’s also a gate surrounding the turf with an opening that could serve as another entry/exit point; but access to the outdoor turf is not permitted if the main entrance doors are close. I'm not too sure the purpose of this policy. These restrictions feel excessive, especially compared to other gyms with outdoor turfs. Most allow full access regardless of the outdoor temperature, and Gym Tonic doesn’t clearly define what the temperature cut off for "too hot" or "too cold." For example, at Equinox, I’ve been able to use the outdoor turf when it was 50°F outside. Beyond this, Gym Tonic feels small compared to other gyms in its price range. The outdoor turf could make it feel more spacious, but with limited access, the gym feels even smaller. On the positive side, the gym is exceptionally clean, thanks to the hardworking cleaning staff, who truly are the heart of the facility. Honestly, they are the hardest working cleaning crew that I have ever encountered. If the cleaning crew reads this review, "Thank you for all you do!" Additionally, the manager offered to cancel my membership, which shows good customer service. However, the next closest gym with an outdoor turf adds too much time to my morning commute, so I’ve decided to keep my membership for now. In summary, the restrictions on the outdoor turf significantly diminish the experience, especially for members like me who value this feature. I'm willing to update my review if this policy ever changes.

I rarely leave reviews but just finished my first workout and was inspired to share how exceptional my experience was. The space is remarkable: spotless, chic and decked wall-to-wall with every piece of equipment and machinery you can imagine, plus spaces for recovery/classes/stretching/outdoor workout; and the staff were just so incredibly warm and friendly and knowledgeable. Can't recommend enough and look forward to seeing them soar.

Excellent place for strongman and weightlifting , if someone looking for cardio there isn’t too much equipment for that . I like how this gym stays open late til 12am , $25 is a bit much for a 1day pass but it covered all I needed , there is also a 5 day pass and monthly membership

Absolutely loved this gym. I wish it was located on the west side. 6 squat racks - 4 olympic lifting platforms 4 benches - no machines except the assault bike, rower, and a cable machine. Best pure strength focused gym i’ve been to in LA

I normally train at a local gym, but when I want to change the scenery and do some powerlifting/strongman lifts I try and get out to here. Great staff and gym. Unless it's changed, the $50/5-Day Pass is the best bang-for-your-buck.

Cool gym for the serious powerlifter. Very well kept with friendly and knowledgeable staff. No AC, but the fans keep the air circulation going and you don't notice it much when you start lifting. Worth checking out if you get the chance.

A well equipped gym that remains clean. Everyone was very friendly which made it easy to feel comfortable, they also provided a tour, offered assistance or to rotate music should it help with your lift. I look forward to being back in the LA area again as this gym is a MUST. Couldn't resist the nice apparel they have up front as well. I have nothing but good things to say and encourage all to check it out.

my favorite place to be. i leave with a clear head and cleansed mindset every time. i took about 20 classes so far and they were all awesome. my favorite is amber as she has just such a nice aura and vibrant energy. they have classes for all levels, some instructors have the room above 96° some under. i personally like it hot but find it good that there’s different levels. oh did i mention how fantastic this place smells?!!

If I could give this place ten stars, I would!! I've been in the fitness world for years; I've tried CrossFit, Barry's Bootcamp, F45, CorePower Yoga, cycling, Pilates, jogging, etc. The Heated room is a game changer, creating excellent competition for other studios. First, I noticed how clean the place is, so aesthetic and neat. Smells good. Easy check-in at the front desk, quiet atmosphere. Free parking at the same building. The instructors here are excellent; they are very selective with their teachers. They aren't going to hire just anyone to teach here. I took advantage of their offer to newbies- two classes for $40. My first class was a Heated full-body burn with Chelle Mahoney. Great flow, and wow, her energy is contagious! I felt so calm and collected after. My second class was Vinyasa Flow with Dedeking- this flow is fast-paced, challenging, and doable. They provide a mat, towels, weights, bands, etc. All you have to bring is yourself and a water bottle. Bathrooms and showers carry all the amenities you need. I'll 100% be back here again!

The best pilates studio in LA, my first class was Heated full-body burn with Natalli Reznik. Love her! the class was great, she's a great instructor, I loved her vibe and the music! My second class was with Abe Ahern, he is amazing, he is challenging and so professional, it was also a great class! The staff at the front desk one of them was really nice! but the other one was rude. She was not welcoming at all. When I was leaving I said thank you and smiled at her and she completely ignored me. I did not like that. But other than that, I do recommend this studio.

Class #59 tonight! The hardest and most fulfilling workout in LA. I take [solidcore] and Barry's classes every week, but nothing humbles my mental toughness like an Omar class. I enjoy several instructors at this studio and can't wait for Santa Monica!

So far, I’ve had my intro and second lesson with Harrison b. He is great, and helps me with getting used to all the various moves. Of course, you can look at your fellow classmates and see what they’re doing, but it really helps when the instructor gives you little pointers and extra motivation. The classes are really hard in the beginning, but it is the best and most challenging workout for your entire body

I love Solidcore. The class is great. But this location’s parking is not Supersolid friendly. It only validates for 75 mins. The class is 65 mins. This means you have all of ten mins to park, get up to the studio, check in, wipe down after class, validate parking and get back into your car and get to the exit, all in 10 mins. With the structure of the buildings it takes at least 2 mins from getting out your car to getting into the studio, if you sprint. God forbid if you need to use the bathroom after class. I’ve been charged $3 every time I come to supersolid here. The parking attendant is not helpful, there is no calling button that works on the machine, and I had to just get out of my car to get them. If anyone is in line to get out of parking, you are pretty much guaranteed to pay for it. Just be ready to run, and don’t be early to a supersolid class. Regular classes are 50 mins so 75 mins validation is plenty. Note Culver City location and Santa Monica location do not have this issue. I believe they validate for 90 mins. I can leisurely get a coffee after a hard supersolid class and still be fine.

I LOVE solidcore. I am 100% not the type of person who likes to be in pain for days after a workout, but somehow Solidcore has me hooked on the pain! The core strength has helped me so much with a couple of injuries I’ve been rehabbing for a while. The instructors are AWESOME and all so sweet and helpful. Tell them if you’re new or if you have injuries and they will check in with you the whole class. It’s expensive, but ClassPass makes the $ a little more palatable. Highly recommend!

When you're here, you're family. The hardest part of a gym for me, honestly has been the obscurity of a gym experience. Pay a monthly fee, never show up, no one notices, no one cares, nothing changes. If you want to waste money this isn't the place for you. When you develop your schedule and start signing up for a consistent classes and you don't come, you get a text message or a call. Coaches know you, check in on you. Other classmates encourage you to finish the group classes together. Coaches are professional and take your abilities and goals into mind and cater each workout you do to support both. It is the opposite of a waste of money, its the place you go to if you want to see some real change. If you want to really get stronger or fitter. I have been coming for two years and haven't wasted a single dime. If you're thinking about it or on the fence contact the gym and ask for a trial...they'll give it to you. Figure out what fits your schedule and do it. You won't regret it.

I recently became a member of Paul's new boxing gym, and the experience has been fantastic. From the moment you step in, you're greeted warmly by everyone. They take the time to work with you individually and ensure you learn the proper techniques. Having visited a few boxing gyms in the area, I can confidently say that this is the best one. They prioritize teaching at your own pace without any pressure. I highly recommend this gym, especially to beginners in the area. What's even better is that it's suitable for all ages.

Flash Boxing Gym is by far the best choice of gym in the valley. My son and I have had nothing but a positive experience. Paul welcomed us with open arms and provided us with experienced trainers that have created nothing but a healthy, welcoming, and positive environment for my son and other children regardless of their individual goals. They continuously support my son and encourage him to meet his own goals and go beyond. Everyone working and participating in this gym are respectful and kind. It is truly a place of community. My son has made many friends here, and many of the kids also go to the same school which stretches the community not only inside the gym but outside it as well. Even though my son has an entire school day, he comes home, does his homework, and is excited to go to the gym an hour later. If you are looking for a good gym with a healthy and welcoming environment that encourages and helps you meet your own fitness goals, Flash Boxing Gym is for you.

Paul is a kind and caring person, who treats everyone with respect. He goes above and beyond to make sure that Flash Boxing Gym is a clean and safe environment for all age groups. Whether you're looking to be a professional boxer, get into shape, or want a positive activity for your kid's/teens, Flash Boxing Gym is the place to be.
