Best Gyms with Saunas near Riverside, California

I’ve been to Planet Fitness before so I already knew there wasn’t gonna be an issue with cleanliness. Obviously this is a brand new location so it’s spotless and beautiful and honestly it wasn’t even as full as I thought it was going to be. Glad they opened up nearby because the competitors have honestly gone down the drain around here.

I live 2 blocks away, I've only been twice but the Black Card membership's definitely a deal. I did a 35 minute jog on the treadmill last night and finished with munching on 5 of the free grape Tootie Rolls they have up front while I got a 10 minute hydromassage. The massage was great and the Tootie Rolls are a nice extra. Also the price of the stuff behind the counter isn't bad. I bought a lock for the lockers and a hand towel and it was around $10.

Yes!!!! Finally a PF near my place and this location has the nicer massage chairs too 🥰🥰🥰

Clean, spacious, very good and new appliances, very friendly staff.

Always packed. Never any equipment available. The bathrooms are dirty & stink. I come here often but definitely bouta change to a different location if not a different gym.

the employees are generally friendly, which is nice ofcourse.. the bathrooms and locker area , we'll take a l👀k at a just cleaned locker floor.. looks like someone took a hose to it and left, it's been cleaned cool, job done. now how exactly ido members change clothes and shoes without getting all wet? is this safe? is this exceptable? apparently. someone please let me know my angle here to do this please. have a great workout

I have been a member for 7 years, I was told when I joined that PF was 24 hours. They changed that. The amount they charge me was not adjusted. During Covid I could not use their gym, yet I was charged every month. At this Riverside club, the place is not what it once was. I was denied entry because my backup payment debit card had expired. I had to go through 20 minutes of BS over this & I have never missed a payment in 7 years. I am sorry, the owner or corporate are idiots that you are more concerned with getting your money than customer satisfaction or experience. I asked for a manager at this location & my home location & none are available. I may have a NEW Gym by Monday? Of course PF does NOT care. We are just a number. They are ok with turnover.

Horrible experience very rude and racist staff! I drove 40 minutes there to tan and forgot my goggles. They refuse to sell me at least the sticker goggles to cover my eyes when they are free at every other location. I only had cash on me. They would not accept cash because they are a sister store and I am remote so this location does not accept a dime in cash, I offered anyone on the staff, including the General Manager who could’ve gave me the eye coverings for free like every location does they’re very rude. He informed his staff not to accept no money from me at all regardless to say I drove 40 minutes was treated extremely rudely this is my sixth time there five out of six times the staff is treated me horrible I will never, go to this location again I do not recommend this location and unfortunately for Planet Fitness their staff representing their business is horrible and racist! please inform Planet Fitness that they are about to lose a 15 year plus customer because they hire horrible managers to run a location who informs their staff to treat customers rudely and that is unacceptable And they should be ashamed of themselves! It’s a great gym and I get a great workout but it is VERY dirty. I go early morning and the bathroom trash is full from the day before. The restrooms are the WORST. They are extremely dirty I’m talking toilet bowels, sinks, floor everything!! It’s stays dirty throughout the whole day because the same stains are there every morning. Same with machines like the stair master they have a bunch of dirty napkins from the day before it’s disgusting!! People should be reminded to clean after themselves & the machines with a sign or when they enter. I’m not one to complain but it’s gotten really out of hand!!!

I’ve been training with Cody for a couple months now, and I can confidently say he is one of the best trainers out there! His workouts are not only effective but also tailored to my fitness goals, keeping me motivated and challenged. Cody’s knowledge, encouragement, and attention to proper form have helped me improve my strength, endurance, and overall fitness. What I appreciate most is his positive attitude and ability to push me beyond my limits while making each session enjoyable. And the gym is cool too, it has nice facilities.

I started training here in the fall of 2024, specifically because it was close to home and they had private trainers. I’ve been working with Cody the entire time and it’s been excellent. I’ve put on 7 pounds of muscle while lowering my body fat percentage 4%. Cody has worked with me on my specific goals as well: speed, squatting, back strength and recovery from a specific injury. He has a plan for each session and is flexible to adjust depending on my condition on the day. I’ve had a great experience and highly recommend the gym!

Great gym under new owners -- the old gym had run it's course. Now it's a million dollars better: cold plunge, sauna, steam room, towel service, red light, tanning booth, full powerlift section, CrossFit section, everything. Come before 7 for the best access to all the equipment. The staff are friendly and helpful and actually work -- the place is clean, no nonsense is tolerated (I saw one staff dude stop a crazy customer from starting a fight -- bro is buff don't mess), the classes are well attended and well organized. Generally tip top shape.

Don’t look anywhere else than VV for a complete workout. The amenities are complete with all the equipment you would need varying across multiple disciples along with all the extras you’d like to use. Sauna, cold plunge, pool and even pickleball. I love this place.

I love this gym. The classes I take are so good and the instructors are awesome! One of my favorite class is the Zumba classes with Lily. She is so fun and really gets you moving with her upbeat music and dances. I love getting my cardio on with Lily's Zumba classes. Everyone should come and burn calories and have fun doing it.
