If you want a no-hassle gym where you can get in and get a solid workout, then you’ll love uplifted gym. The owner (Trevor) is great, down to earth and very supportive. He is constantly investing in new equipment, including an Inbody scanner, a few saunas and a cold plunge. The trainers are great too! I’ve been training with Austin three times a week, and his guidance has been invaluable in pushing me towards my goals. It’s obvious that he is genuinely invested in my progress. If you’re looking for a gym that values a straightforward approach, supportive staff, and tangible results, Uplifted Gym is the place to be.

Uplifted Gym is easily the best gym in the Treasure Valley. The equipment is top notch, it’s clean, and everyone is so kind and considerate. I train with Jewel, and the programs she creates for me have absolutely changed my life! I feel so much more confident in my body, and in being at the gym in general. I used to have major gym anxiety, but I don’t here. Highly recommend!

Jewel at Uplifted is AMAZING! If you are looking for someone to give you tough love, she is your girl. She is great at helping you set reasonable goals and get you on a good nutrition plan for your body. The gym is very clean and everyone is very professional. Uplifted gym is by far the best gym I have had a membership at.

The gym is great the sales pitches are terrible! 600$ a month for personal trainer is insane! I give the gym 5* I give the guy who kept talking after I said no 3x to his sales pitch 0* sorry bro no means no and you should know that when someone is trying to run out the door shut the f up and accept you didn't get the sale. Would have loved to work with Theresa she seemed smart. But 150$ an hr for a trainer at a gym seems insane. Wish there was a better option close to my house.

I love this gym have been coming for many years. It’s busy for a reason, it’s nice. If you don’t like people come before or after main rush. Only problem I’ve ever had is a stolen set of car keys off of the cubby in front of the men’s bathroom. This is my mistake for leaving them out but I would recommend never leaving anything you don’t want stolen on the black cubby when you walk in.

I really love this gym, and the equipment BUT it’s just so busy and the equipment (ESPECIALLY the free weights) are always in use. I want the gym to be as easy as possible and when I can’t access the equipment I need for my workout it makes me not want to go. They need to build more locations ASAP because I’m so close to finding a new gym unfortunately.

This is a great gym! Only a member for 5 months but enjoy the upstairs cardio area and the 4 new reclined bikes. They are excellent. Clean gym and nice upgraded Locker room. Friendly and helpful crew. Only issues are lack of having extra leg extension and curl machines. Many people get on these machines and "camp out" doing numerous sets while playing with their phones in between sets. Frustrating in that I have asked to work in but the usual answer is "I'll be done in a bit...just a few more sets". I have an auto immune disease that limits my endurance and strength so i need to get in and out of the gym in expedient fashion to preserve my daily limited output. Besides this issue it is a great place to work out.

I went to “axiom” now villa sports for 3 years before asking to cancel my membership due to moving to a different city. They told me they’d cancel it after basically begging me to continue the membership. They kept charging my card after they “cancelled” my membership so I had my bank block the charges. A few months later, they sent a bill to collections due to me “not paying my membership” It was a nice gym and I enjoyed the equipment and personal trainers, but I lost all good feelings about this gym after this incident now that my credit may be affected.

Mark was amazing today at a birthday party event. My youngest has gone climbing a few times, things had never fully clicked. At the party he was overwhelmed. Mark made eye contact, spoke directly to him and was the first one to get him to climb today. In addition, my son had never made it all the way to the top during one of his climbs in the past. Mark encouraged him to the top. Beyond that, he gave great instruction and encouragement. Because of Mark, my son felt confident enough to climb other sections with other members of the team. All of the V V team was really great; but Mark made our day. Can’t wait to go back on our own to continue climbing.

This is one of the nicest climbing gyms I've been to. It has everything you need from bouldering to lead climbing to fitness classes and weight training. The staff is very friendly too! And the culture is welcoming no matter what your experience is. I know a lot of other climbing gyms feel kind of exclusive, especially on your first time going. But this one has plenty of people willing to mentor you and help you get better.

Amazing staff and such a friendly environment. The gym has a lot of rope walls and boulder problems available, and a 65ft lead wall. Great place for beginner climbers and advanced climbers; they have climbing walls from a few feet tall for kids and new climbers starting out, all the way up to the 65ft head wall. Plus, it is the only gym that I know of anywhere in the area that has some outdoor top rope problems. The staff puts on many activities, climbing classes, and climbing events for members, as well as hosting USA Climbing events. I started out as a new climber at this gym in the summer of 2022 and have been able to progress a lot here because of the multiple classes offered, challenging problems and the countless help and tips I’ve received from the staff and climbing coaches, as well as other patrons climbing at the gym. I took a couple of climbing classes to learn basic and advanced movements from foot placement to body positioning that really helped, and some of the best classes were their “Transition to Outdoors” and “Multi-pitch” classes where they teach climbers the skills they need to climb outdoors. I wouldn’t have picked up these skills anywhere else and it really instilled a lot of confidence when I started outdoor climbing. This is a great gym to go to; check it out.

AMAZING climbing gym! I just do bouldering, but it had some pretty cool harness walls. The staff was SO cool, and really welcoming. As for the bouldering, just so great. A good variety of easy and hard routes, and it sounds like they change everything often so there are always new challenges. I love that they had plenty of middle of the road routes for people (like me) who aren’t great climbers, but aren’t beginners! Also met the guy who makes the sticker and got a couple. Really nice high quality stickers! Thanks Vertical View for the AMAZING Boise(Meridian) experience!

Outstanding facility for both beginner and experienced climbers. All the staff we met were personable and professional - this place has a great vibe. Over 25 years, we’ve been to a lot of climbing gyms worldwide from Alaska to Istanbul , and this one tops them for all-around experience.

I have been at Strive for almost 2 years. It was the first gym out of the gym that I didn’t feel intimidated walking into. It was welcoming and reassuring. I started with doing the group fitness classes from strength training, cardio, and Pilates/Barre. I wanted more heavier lifting and more smaller groups so I joined the elite classes. Elite classes are smaller format with up to 10 members and one trainer. I love it! I would describe them as smaller bootcamps with focus muscle groups. I have met my community of women and built new friendships here. Some of the girls are now my closest friends and I am thankful for Strive. The trainers are so supportive and kind. They build great workouts and really love seeing your progress. It is a positive community, so don’t let the negative reviews drive you away. There will always be unhappy customers in every business and you can’t make everyone happy. I will tell you I have never felt any toxic or cattiness with any of the members or trainers/management during my experience at Strive. Yes, I highly recommend visiting to try their free classes.

I enjoy Strive’s new express workouts early in the morning. I have been impressed by the bubbly and encouraging ladies at the front. Love, love love the sauna, and then the little extras like coffee, waters and feminine products offered to all! The monthly membership cost is affordable with everything offered, thanks Strive!

Love Strive Fitness! The instructors are excellent and the included childcare is so convenient. I’ve been going to this gym since my pandemic baby was born in 2020. I’ve never been a regular gym goer until THIS gym. It is so welcoming and I love the variety of classes. It is seriously perfect for women of all ages and stages of life.

55+ classes Mondays and Wednesdays: Ashley is a great leader, very knowledgeable and the class offers variety each week. Also, the ladies who attend these classes are very caring and offer to help each other. Plus she plays great music! I recommend.

For a considerable period, I genuinely enjoyed my time at this gym and connected with the people there. However, the high instructor turnover puzzled me. Eventually, I discovered the reason behind employees leaving: unethical management practices. Despite having some friendly staff, management engaged in questionable behavior. For instance, members’ dues would randomly change, and unexpected charges appeared on their accounts. Additionally, staff commissions were embezzled by management. Although the gym seemed welcoming to newcomers, it harbored hidden issues. I, too, was deceived until I experienced it firsthand. Policies and prices fluctuated unpredictably, turning the gym into a stressful environment that was no longer mom-friendly. When management learned that members or employees were aware of these illegal practices, they terminated them. Ironically, it was not the toxic individuals who were let go. I have no complaints about the classes or facility besides parking and management. They are wolves in sheep's clothing.
