Best Gyms with Saunas near Mcallen, Texas

I don’t usually go out to public gyms but today I had an Amazing experience! Everything from the equipment to the customer service . I belief his name was zeke in the front desk, he explained briefly about every service and plan he has to offer. Zeke was giving me tips and tricks to achieve my goals at the gym! I appreciate his kindness and motivating personality . 10/10 experience , must try again.

Julian is the absolute definition of good customer service. Every day I walk in and see him at the front desk he says hi and puts a smile on my face, and on my way out he always says bye and tells me to have a nice day. ;) he is the pinnacle of great outstanding customer service.

Since we started in the gym my husband and I decided to have a personalized trainer for which we chose Ricardo Gómez because of his good reviews in the place, from the first day he imposed the routines on us we love the way he works, we are about to turn one month in the gym and we have been seeing great results!

The overall gym equipment is decent but the locker rooms and restrooms smell so bad you almost gag 🤢 they have trash cans in the restroom overflowing with fecal covered paper it’s disgusting. Not just that but their sauna is severely low in temperature with them not providing paper towels and when they are provided they are sitting on the counter with water soaking in them. As well as the sink smelling like sewage (definitely a leak).

Great place to work out. It's alway cleaning and the people there are alway maintaining the place. Love the atmosphere. The young lady Monica alway with a smile very helpful and knowledgeable with any questions I have. Thank you

This gym needs serious reevaluation for proper business practices, I stopped going few months because employees aren’t doing their job when it comes to maintaining the gym. Same issues and deficiencies are still present, gym is filthy and equipments are scattered all over the floor, I also ran into an issue with the workers not being able to properly do their job at the front desk when it comes to membership, unauthorized charges and fees but then later give you the runaround about getting a refund. Like seriously these workers either need to be fired or seriously retrained.

Came as a walk in with my wife and Erick was amazing with the membership process and gave a good tour and explained the body scans perfectly. If anyone wants to sign up sign up with Erick, will get you started on your goals right away. 👍🏼

Went to workout yesterday at the TruFit on Ware Rd. Dropped off my kiddos with Ellie at the kids club and she welcomed them in and kept them entertained. They had a great time learning and playing games with her. They brought home some nice drawings and paper airplanes, too. Will definitely be going to the gym more often knowing I can trust her when I have to take my kids with me.

Ok, honest review after trying it for a month.. It NEEDS maintenance. Super dirty windows, rugs and equipment. Staff is not helpful or trained to help out. There’s 4-5 people at the lobby right now, and water bottles to put in the trash EVERYWHERE. Gym NEEDS an URGENT remodel and better trained staff. Also, 2/4 stairmasters are actually working. Spend your coin somewhere else.

I’ve been taking my kids since they were two,now they’re 4. And they recently got two write ups.. I feel that the girls from the fun center don’t engage to my kids at all. I wish they hire ppl that actually love to be around kids,and not just to Hire. If they get suspended I’ll cancel my membership and my husband’s as well.

This gym is great on how they treat the members. It does need remodeling asap. Also needs more maintenance as the water fountains don’t work. One doesn’t work at all and the other one doesn’t pour any water. It sucks as we pay fees, and they keep increasing them every couple of years and the maintenance sometimes takes months like this water fountain issues. I’ll give 5 stars but hope they fix it soon

Great experience. Staff is very polite and willing to give advice on Martial arts and training. Better than Golds gym and has newer equipment. More will be coming soon!

Great gym environment, it's always being maintained and well kept to the client standards. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Trainers are patient and guide you with workouts I don't hesitate to ask for help with a workout or machine use. 🤗

Front desk is usually empty in the evenings with employees doom scrolling in their separate desks with no sense of urgency to help clients. I’ve been purchasing day passes for two weeks straight and because I worked out at the 10th St. Location, this location did not allow for me to work out because purchasing day passes is only valid for that particular location. I was never told this until now. Word of advice: make a one-time exception for customers, especially repeat customers, to retain relationships. Not deny them access and then offer a $45 week pass. That’s not a relationship rather a transaction. Team members from this location could have handled this situation better

Pretty decent place. However.... the women's sauna has not been cleaned since I started coming in February of this year (2024) I've been looking at the same pieces of trash under the bench in the exact same place and more added over time as well as the dirty glass on the door.
