Good facility, nice when the class room is free in the mornings. But the air quality in the treadmill/machine area is awful. I mean its great if you like smelling body odor, the bad breath of the person on the treadmill next to you. Like a crowded locker room. Management does not seem interested in fixing the problem, I've mentioned multiple times, employees are not empowered to adjust the AC accordingly. Not healthy and just gross. Every other gym I've belonged is generally cold BUT the air is clean --- this ones the opposite. PS: Just cancelled via their online system. They FORCE you to pay for one extra month when you cancel. Golds... contributing to why gyms get a bad name. So.. if you want to cancel, do it in advance!!!

I really appreciate the atmosphere at Gold’s Hollywood which starts with how staff interact with guests. They recently renovated the entire gym with new equipment and revised floor plan. The guests working out are easy going and cool to interact with. I avoid downtown because of the way some guests are allowed to act a fool there. Some constructive feedback is, before the renovations there seemed to be more cleaning of floors, mirrors, and equipment. I now find dust / dust bunnies more often and weights don’t seem to be put back in place as often leading to time spent on scavenger hunts. Both of these points are why I’ve been avoiding the downtown location… it’s the worst for needing to go on a scavenger hunt for free wights or other equipment. Overall, this is a great gym and I’m glad they make the space as welcoming and enjoyable as the do.

This is my favorite gym I’ve been a member of. Not only do they have well maintained and up-to-date equipment and facility, but they keep the facility and the changing rooms clean. The workout layout is very efficient. They offer the best dance class I’ve ever seen in a gym, and I have to mention the steam room, a life changing experience for after workout self-care. My only minor point is, do not loose anything, because stuff disappears from the Lost-and-found, even when another member brings it to the staff. Then again, just don’t loose anything at any gym…

Gold’s Gym front desk employees have always been friendly and helpful. I’ve been a member of a handful of gyms during my lifetime and it seems most of them were lacking in that respect. Those gyms would make me feel like I was bothering them when asking a question. It’s refreshing to not feel like that at Gold’s. The gym’s equipment is always in good condition. The women’s locker room is the cleanest I’ve ever experienced. And I mean that on a consistent basis.

So happy I took the plunge and joined Golds. The gym is spacious, clean plenty of exercise equipment. There are so many classes to choose from with various levels and various times of the day so I have no trouble finding classes to fit my schedule and fitness level. The staff there is Very helpful very welcoming. A special shout out to the manager, Karen.

I’ve been waiting for a Lagree fitness studio to open up in Highland Park and so excited to find this. The studio is so spacious, clean, and modern with 14 megaformers!! And plenty of free parking in the back (enter thru the CVS driveway and go to the back of the studio). Classes are always so challenging. Make sure to wear grippy socks. I forgot mine, but just bought a couple cute ones there ! I’ll definitely be back!

I have been attending classes at Made By Pilates since June 2023. The studio is bright with great energy--I've only ever been greeted with kindness from the front desk staff. Do not get a membership at this establishment!! They will keep debiting your account every day! I also had my card locked last night and they still took money out of my account! Then I call for a refund and to cancel the membership and the lady Monica told me she couldn’t do it. I had to wait for the manger free to get there instead. I’m highly pissed off! How is there no manger or supervisor at the business to process refunds? So they just have workers opening and closing with no supervision? I want ppl to know not to trust this planet fitness especially since I have to go through all of this for a refund! I will be reporting this business to every thing I can because I shouldn’t have to wait for my own money when I never stepped foot in this establishment! Do better and have a dam supervisor on site, smh

This planet fitness is very chill. it has it moments of chaos. meaning it's packed people working out and a lot of movement. staff is chill, too. usually I go in the morning, morning. very clean and nice *updated review* I used to love working out here. Used to, know there's a lot of homeless in the bathrooms, using the lockers. high schools kids loitering the machines. Most of them sit there and don't workout. But they use their phones to kill time on the machines. It was a chill cool place. Now is dirty bathroom stalls are always used by homeless people and showers. The main problem is management. They don't care or would say anything to the homeless. I really thinking of closing my membership. If you don't believe me stop by a Tuesday around 3:00 you will see.

Worst location ever! First of all there’s a bunch of crack heads in the parking lot. Second the security this planet fitness has is always getting high or just chilling in the front table and always on the phone. I almost got attacked by a black man who was trying to get fresh with my 16 year old and where’s is the security? Oh that’s right inside sitting down using his phone with his feet up! Third there are some machines that are broken and have been like that for the past 6 months. Planet fitness do better!

The Griffin Club Los Angeles is a great spot for those seeking a mix of fitness, socializing, and relaxation. The facilities, including the tennis and pickleball courts, are well-maintained, and the fitness center is modern and fully equipped. The pools are a highlight, offering a perfect escape on sunny days. The dining options are solid, though the menu could use a bit more variety. The ambiance is upscale yet welcoming, making it a pleasant space for members to connect. However, the membership fees are on the higher side, and at times, the club can feel a bit crowded during peak hours. Overall, it’s a wonderful club with plenty to offer, but there’s room for small improvements to make it truly exceptional.

I initially got a membership for tennis and they lied to me about having quiet spaces and tennis program for older teens. I went to the club to get work done and all I could hear were children shouting and screaming. When trying out their “older tennis teen class” (supposedly with 17,18 yr olds) it was actually filled will 11 year olds…and was told that the only other tennis class option was a live-ball session with older men…The initial fee was 2,000 before even paying for the membership…def not worth it unless you only go in the morning or are a mom with kids that need to be entertained…It feel like your at a children's play park more than half the time and the food is mid for the amount you pay for a membership.

This is my favorite gym of all time. I’ve done 24, Gold’s, and LA Fitness over the years and it’s not even close. I signed up in 2015 when it was David Barton then came back in 2024 - wish I did it sooner! IconFit’s staff not only sets a golden standard for gyms, but also with customer service for business. They are super knowledgeable and make me feel at home. The gym is always clean, has towel service plus refreshing eucalyptus ones, and there is plenty of equipment with usually short maintenance time. Tips to note: - Bringing your own lock will save you time and hassle over borrowing from the front desk ($6 Master Lock Black Combination Padlock for Luggage on Amazon) - 2 hour parking validation on weeknights, 3 if you ask nicely (don’t be shy) - Shower before using the cold plunge (self explanatory…) If you are serious about health and SAVING TIME then this is the place for you.

IconFit was the second gym I joined in Los Angeles and it was about everything you could ask for in a gym. Equipment was always available even while busy and the additional amenities (filtered water machines, sauna, etc.) were great. The best part about the place, though, was the people. It was a joy to be able to come in and talk with friends I've made for a brief moment before heading to work out. Some days I enjoyed coming to the gym just to be able to talk to the gym folks. I'd recommend IconFit to anyone who wants to have a luxurious gym experience in a friendly, personable environment. Thanks for everything!

I've been a member of IconFit for around 2.5 years. There's a lot to like about it from a personal standpoint: 2 minutes drive or 15-20 minutes walk from my house, easy parking, pleasant aesthetically, and recently some top notch new cardio machines have been installed. It's clean and very convenient and I like how most members are all business about workouts and not standing around socializing as much like at other gyms, such as Equinox. But, and I've addressed this directly with the management without any luck, the volume of the music has increased significantly in the last few weeks. I don't mind a gym playing music but it should be in the background, not overwhelming all the acoustics in the place. There are close to 20 speakers circling the gym floor and at any one time, most members work out a short distance from a speaker. For people to hear the music the gym wants to play (not my kind of music either but I can live with it), it is not necessary to keep it at the current default volume, which is the same level whether I go at 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., or past 4 p.m. I have tried to see if there is a difference depending on what time I go (there is none). It is simply too loud and it's not a matter of opinion. Sometimes there is such a thing as an objective truth. It's really an unpleasant and unenjoyable experience to go to IconFit now and I am very disappointed the management has not turned down the music, just a little. Not a lot to ask.

Do you like games? Have you played the memory match game? Well then you'll love it here. Try finding the other pair of weights to match the one you are looking for at this gym. This place might of have gotten a remodel, but either or- this YMCA's staff are lazy to clean up the night before ( I was here at 11am- highly doubt someone came early in the morning to make this mess) or I am ashamed of my hispanic community for being this dirty and unorganized and even less-- mindful of others. Either which way, I came here because I was in the area, but sure sucks for who ever comes to this gym because I'll take my self elsewhere.

This gym is not sport club la nor prime time. In the same line with 24 hour fitness gym, club one etc. For $50 per month, it gives great value and plus they validate parking which is very rare in the city. Another plus is that they are fairly brand new with nice steam room and sauna. The bathrooms are clean. I like it. I think I'm signing up!

If You Have Kids, This is NOT the right Gym for your kids. Besides this Gym being dirty and lack of AC in some rooms and the lockers smelling like urine and hairs on the floor; this Gym definitely does not treat family Gym members equally and fairly when it comes to the usage of the exercising facility. My 11 year old kid wanted to exercise along with me in the cycling and treadmill room, but the staff refused my kid's entry because he was under 13, but then the staff said that if I paid $20 extra aside from what we're already paying for "our membership", my kid would have access along with one of their staff no matter the age. Because even seen 5 and 8 year old kids in the cycling bikes as we walked by. I work hard for my money and pay my monthly membership for my kids and myself, and for what? for my kids to not be able to exercise and make a positive healthy use of the money we're paying for this expensive membership! when all they have is access to the babysitting room and the pool. In that case might as well stay home right? The staff at the Wilmington Y are thief's, because I know the one in San Pedro has access to the exercise facility for the kids included with their membership as it states in its contract and as it should be. P.S . WORST FACILITY AND CONS AT THAT!

I've been a 24 hour fitness member for over 10 years but wanted a change of scenery because the one in Northridge is abysmal. This gym is just conveniently located across the street and far exceeded my expectations. I've been to several gyms throughout SoCal, Vegas, and Phoenix, and found that this was definitely comparable to the nicer gyms I have been to. There are 6 squat racks on the right side of the gym but it's interesting because the barbells are by Escape, but they have a hammer strength rack, and American fitness plates. Lol. There are also 8 more squat racks in the back of the gym!!! So... there is plenty of equipment. They have a variety of machines here owned by booty builder which I had never heard of before but easily got the hang of once I finally located the instructions per machine. I had never in my life done a standing hip abductor but it seemed fun and definitely felt more helpful than the seated ones. They have one seated hip thrust that's so difficult to work with and 2 standing hip thrust machines that... don't really seem helpful, but they're there. For the rest of the gym, a couple things I also liked: - spa recovery room with 4 massage chairs and TVs - separate fitness room for platinum members - TRX section and turf area - boxing area with punching bags - very clean bathrooms with steam and sauna rooms already inside (so they're same sex if that matters to you) - self-running Assault treadmills (my fave treadmills) - ski machines - filtered water stations Now even though I visited around 4 PM on a Sunday, I imagine it was pretty busy because it's January so people are kickstarting their fitness regimen. Only time will tell how it holds up during peak hours but so far, I have no complaints and look forward to my future visits here. (4/50--2025)

Very impressive entrance:) the gym is basically underground. big shared parking lot with other stores, very convenient. Equipment is kind of old and arranged too closely, but some of the old school chest, should press and hack squat machines are amazing, plus a unique sited abs/oblique workout machine which is really great, the dips machine angle and grip is awesome too, people leave a lot of dirty paper towels in between the machines, I didn’t see anyone carrying a towel and some guys and ladies live a disgusting sweet trace on the workout machines they sit … I think management should ask them to bring their own towels, saw a guy smoking a e cigarette or whatever they call it told one of the staff members he was looking right at him and was king of hesitant to do something … so second time I called him he looked like he went “talk to the member” anyway I know it’s close to CSUN and membership is kind of low and lot of school kids are roaming around , but they should be more disciplined, this sport is all about discipline, safety and health, we just barely recovered from a pandemic … we should expect more from young especially “educated” generation, p.s add some more trash bins. Hopefully we see some progress soon, keep things safe and clean!🙏🏻

They’re certain times of the day when the gym gets too packed or not so busy at all. Getting over there in the morning is the best time before the rush comes. Free weights, machines, the turf (one of my favorites to warm up at), a sauna, and they provide you protein shakes and water. For you protein intake and hydration. They have everything you need from beginner to advance exercises. I have worked out at Gym’s Gold before and I never had any bad experience in the past. This gym here has got everything you need to push your limits. Thank you Gold’s Gym and keep up with the hard work!

This location is better all around, much cleaner nicer gym, has most of the things except for two One it’s not 24 hours so that’s a bummer. I can’t go here too often due to that reason the availability does not work. To please to change out your lockers. Or at least repair them to make them sturdy. Like the more modern planet fitness. I have no confidence in putting anything in those lockers because some of them are broken or missing parts already.

This PF Granada Hills location is pretty good. Very easy access off freeway and large parking lot area, well lit. Did early morning workout on weekday. Facility and locker room was clean…but I feel like they could use more product cleaning stations in the back of the club. Crowd was light. Most equipment was working ok but I tried 3 treads near the Express Training area, all had issues…one was out of order with a sign, one seemed to be cutting out after it started or not wanting to start and one tread the display was not working at all. I let the front desk staff know. Also at least 3 weight stack gyms were out of order including one of the cable crossover weight stack gyms. But definitely enough equipment options for a full workout. Would go back for another workout.👍

I have been going to this facility for a month now and can say that it's one of the nicer gyms I've been to. It's kept up very well in regards to cleanliness and upkeep. The gym itself, while small, has all you could need in regards to cardio and weight lifting. I cannot speak for how busy it gets as I am one of the few nocturnal users(this gym is 24 hours w/ a key fob access) but I truly believe this is a good gym.
