Best Gyms with Resistance Machines near Las-vegas, Nevada

Gym had a funky smell. The treadmill and other cardio machines are outdated or broken. One of the sitting cycles had a pedal missing 🙄. Ultimately, this gym does not meet the standards of an upscale gym it claims to be. Planet fitness is a lot cleaner, cheaper, and roomier than this place. I don't recommend it. Also, beware of the 30-day free trial because they'll end up charging you the annual fee regardless if you cancel within the 30 days or not.

The layout of the gym is perfect. They have had so many plumbing issues since the summer. First the toilets, they got the cheap portable bathrooms that it smelled disgusting outside of the front doors before you step in. When the Losee location had their restrooms renovated they had the fancy portable trailer for their restrooms. Now their showers are having issues. Leaving only ONE operational. Management needs to communicate better with their staff because when asked the front desk any update on the showers he sarcastically said back that he isn’t a plumber. Thanks for that great customer service

Love this location! I really appreciate the welcome greetings of Tyler & Chris and staff in general. This is my go to gym! Tyler is always going around and cleaning the gym and checking to see if anything needs to be refilled! Hard worker!!

To whine this may concern, There is an issue that I want to address regarding the restrooms. I understand that the men’s restroom is unavailable at this time. I was told two weeks ago that the men’s restroom would be fixed in two weeks, and it’s still not complete. The porter potties outside are disgusting and not maintenance properly which is extremely unsanitary. if we are going to have to use porter potties, they need to be maintained properly. For example: There is feces all over the place and blood. It does not look like this has been maintained properly. I would like to see the restrooms be completed, or at least maintain the maintenance to the porta potties. Thank you. I don’t understand why the EOS on Pecos doesn’t do the same thing as EOS on Durango , very simple solution, so everyone could enjoy the sauna at anytime. Set times for the sauna has become an inconvenience for many individuals.

Been coming to this gym for a while Chris at front desk and Andrew at the front desk are always great and make you feel welcomed. Tyler is always filled with energy and encourages you. Janet, Michel, and Justin from kids club are always a cool vibe. Overall enjoy coming to this location although it does get pretty full sometimes.

I was disappointed because I arrived at 5:50 and waited until 6:05 and the establishment never opened. I had booked a 6am “Power Pump” class through ClassPass. It was dark on the inside and no one was there. I went to get a bite at Starbucks to also use their bathroom, and returned 15 minutes later. I saw 3 people and a what looked like an instructor working out. tried to go in, and the door was locked. I wasn’t going to pound on the door for them to let me in especially since I was there on time, so I just left.

Big gym has something for everybody boxing mma and jiu-jits great coaches gor all levels of fighter and get classes and programs..

I love it , coming up on my one year anniversary . Everyone is so helpful and supportive. Love love love

This gym will sharpen your technique and give you a workout. It doesn’t matter if you’re brand new to the sport, experienced, or someone just looking for a workout like I was. Everyone leaves the gym better then they were when they came in. The coach will take the time to work on a specific skill if you ask them to. The only bad part is the coach will randomly change. I personally would have liked to stick with the same coach threw out my experience. But all the coaches know what they are doing

I think it's a pretty good setup at this gym. It's been pretty busy every time I've been here. It was a little difficult using the machines i wanted to use last time i was here. It was still just fine. People were friendly. It's a good chill vibe. Some attention needed to a couple things. A bunch of outlets in the men's locker room are tripped and it didn't look like it was a GFCI that could be reset. It was like that a week ago, too, already. Also, the hot water was only warm in the shower and the sink.

Great location and friendly staff. The gym is clean and easy to navigate through equipment for an efficient workout. As a busy entrepreneur, Planet Fitness is a perfect place for me to work out absorb even more good energy that this place puts out. I highly recommend this gym!

Clean place, friendly people, newly renovated and variety on machines. I started coming a few months ago and have been able to really uplevel my fitness here, plus love that they have massage chairs, hydro massage, red light therapy, hybrid (tanning + red light) & tanning room. Unfortunately they don't have a sauna but it's great overall!

Hanging out with David and George last night. Thank you the place was spotless. And thank you so much for what you know you did for me I appreciate that. Let's just say they were not only great employees of planet fitness but they were also great people. planet fitness has a lot of those, in case you didn't know the memberships are reasonably priced for what you get. I have always gone for the past that allows me to travel. I paid around $20 a month for mine. It also gets me access to massage chairs and waterbeds and all sorts of other stuff. They have an app and a website that have their own perks. This company has had me as a customer who doesn't have a home. I have received the same level of respect and dignity as being a millionaire. I hope American companies like yours get rewarded for your effort.

The flamingo location is close to home. I used to be 265 lbs. I dropped down to now 160 lbs. At this gym is where I built my transformation. The management team are awesome people. I'm grateful for planet fitness, thank you Happy New Year.

If I could, I would give zero stars. If you choose to come to this gym, you need to be very cautious. Vehicle theft has occurred in their parking lot last week, and today another car and a phone were stolen. All of this happened inside the gym, where the thieves managed to steal car keys and a phone from the premises. The front desk staff are rarely at their post. I don’t understand why both employees would leave at the same time to clean, leaving the front desk completely unattended. This lack of supervision made it easy for the thieves to enter the gym and commit the theft.

Out of all the Planet Fitness locations I have been to, this one is the best well run. Competent and helpful staff. I come here every day and they greet me by name and with a smile. The entire place is spotless, gym equipment always attended to if broken, bathrooms always immaculate. Lovely people running this place.

Planet fitness on Boulder Highway and Tropicana is very convenient for me. Its close to my house. People here are very nice and respectful. Equipment seem to be very clean and organized. This gym is open 24 hours.

Visitng from my home club in Salem Massachusetts... Was kind of nervous about this gym I know being on boulder hwy is not the best location, but I was pleasantly pleased with how clean the place is! I needed a quick shower and was very happy with again how clean the shower stalls and girls locker room in general!! Thank you plant fitness for exceeding my expectations ❤️

I recently visited the Planet Fitness location and was quite disappointed with the level of service from the staff. Upon entering, I was not greeted or acknowledged, which made for an unwelcoming first impression. Throughout my workout, I noticed that the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than attending to the needs of the members. Additionally, when I had a question about one of the machines, the response I received was dismissive and unhelpful. It felt like I was inconveniencing them rather than being assisted. Cleanliness is usually a strong point for Planet Fitness, but during my visit, I noticed several areas that were not well-maintained, and it seemed like the staff was not proactive in addressing these issues. Overall, the lack of customer service and attention to detail from the workers at this location significantly detracted from my experience. I hope the management can address these concerns and improve the quality of service.

No other location matches the experience at Anytime on Windmill & Bermuda! My time here has been consistently positive. This location is by far the cleanest and best maintained of all the Anytime gyms I've visited. Staff is always welcoming and open to answer any questions you have. I especially enjoy the quaintness of this location and while it is still spacious, you never feel crowded or overwhelmed with too many people. Great for new members and existing! I would recommend this location to anyone!

I’d strongly recommend making your home location this gym. The facilities are always clean, it’s never that busy (they limit membership in order to prevent this) and the staff is always very helpful. Shout out especially to Caleb. You’re the man! Thanks for all the help.

I would not recommend this place, nor would I recommend signing up for this place. My wife and I have not used their establishment for almost 2 years (we have been paying during that time). We moved to another state, we drove to the nearest Anytime Fitness to cancel, they said they could not transfer our account. We called and texted these people telling them to cancel our membership. They told us to mail a letter... so comical it's the 21st century get it together. They have sent us to collections even though we have been telling them to cancel our membership for 6 months. We have not renewed our contract in 2 years, they refuse to stop charging our debit card, so we were forced to canceled our debit card now they are sending us to collections. I would look for another gym establishment. This one is terrible.

This place is robbery!! He wouldn't let me try the 7 day pass for 1 dollar. He was tryna get me on a credit plan. The prices kept changing, he kept talking and not making any sense. Apparently I have to pay a one time fee of $110 with $44 a month but he won't allow me to get my 7 day pass to see if I like it or not. He was tryna charge me up front. It's a lie, you can't try the gym for free!! The gym is way too small, with basic equipment to be this expensive. I wouldn't sign up here! They're liars & the gym is too basic for the price.

This location is my favorite! When I say they have everything, I mean everything. Best music out of all the locations, equipment is always in perfect condition, when I come at 3am there is basically nobody here so I really love that part about this location. Not a fan of being around humans, kind of antisocial. People do start showing up around 4:30am - 5am. Facility is extremely clean and well organized. I do appreciate this location plus the owner and staff seemed pretty chill when I got that phone call about humans complaining about me not wearing a shirt for my last set and whatnot. No hard feelings, just weird people watch others when they should be more focused on themselves and their workout lmfao. Reason I come alone and leave when they show up. Best Location in Las Vegas and I've been to them all. Even the one in Boulder City. Stay safe and stay awesome! Thank You

This is definitely my favorite EOS gym in Las Vegas! Lake Mead & Buffalo Not only is it exceptionally clean and organized, but the staff is also incredibly friendly. The manager, Alexis, is outstanding—she’s always ready to help in any situation. As a trainer, she is knowledgeable, and as a person, she is simply delightful. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to join. Working with Alexis will ensure you have a solid plan in place to achieve your fitness goals. She is truly exceptional! Be sure to ask for Alexis when you visit. Highly recommended!

Love it here, I started my weight lifting journey here and have been going to this location for the past two years. Alexis and her staff are awesome. They're always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Not just trainers but all the support staff really take away all the intimidation of going to a gym. Plus they just renovated all the equipment making it a whole lot more fun to workout. I really cannot say enough good stuff about it here.

At the time of publishing this review, I've spent the last week on the EoS VIP guest pass. I've enjoyed working out here. As someone relatively new to going to the gym, it was easy navigating the machines and learning the layout. I like that the gym isn't huge. Everything is close together, and I don't feel overwhelmed with people. Can't forget about the staff. Jojo and Gina are the best. They've been very friendly and helpful in my first week. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

I used to go to the gym for years, but I finally decided to make the switch to go back to LV AC after dealing with the month long closures of the bathrooms and locker rooms. This place has been working on renovations since July 2024. It’s been like months to this point, and although the layout of the gym physically looks better, just like all the other EOS’s so I’m not all that impressed. I always felt like the Buffalo location had the best layout that utilized the space better than some of the other locations Since they had it married it after the Gold’s Gym that used to be there. But every single time I go, they talk about having their “luxury bathrooms” in the trailer in the parking lot. As someone who goes to the gym after 10 PM, I don’t necessarily wanna have to go out in the cold at night to use the restroom, especially one that isn’t maintained. Since I don’t have a car, I have to drag around my bag with my whole workout, which is a bummer. The worst thing is, they have no sympathy when you ask about the bathrooms. I called this morning to ask if the bathrooms were still up and running, even after I made the switch to LVAC because I was going to accompany someone who had an EOS membership. And the customer service skills are fr like not even bare minimum. They know it’s an inconvenience so “sorry for the inconvenience” could be appreciated ….and when you ask the front desk staff if they know anything about when the renovations will be done, they essentially talk to you like you’re crazy/look at you crazy in person. It’s just like, I get it but it’s like bathrooms & the locker room, it’s understandable tht people r gonna ask. Other gyms may not be perfect, but I’ve been going to LVAC for a month instead, and I am appreciative of everything they have there compared to EOS. Even Planet Fitness down the street maintains their amenities way better and their front desk is much more friendly. I really liked going to this gym, but I’m asking myself if renovations will ever really be done, and at this point, they should just close the gym down and focus on doing them quickly.

Alexis and staff are very courteous and like family. Great home gym away from home. New renovations have improved the environment 1000 percent. Good place to meet your fitness goals.

This Planet Fitness is really big. The extra room between machines and areas gives a sense of being very relaxed and free. Just keep it clean and maintained. Some gym members don't pick up after themselves (paper towels, toilet paper, barbells). Those people can do a little better, eh. Um, a hanger was missing off the mounting bracket in a changing room. Friendly staff. Machines are legit.

The thing about this planet fitness is the people are super nice. The people working out are always very courteous and respectful. Above that the staff are simply incredible! They always greet me when I come and go and the facilities are always super clean 100% recommend. Sign up for the black card the hydro massage and tanning included is worth that alone.

I’ve been stopping at Planet Fitness locations while traveling from NY, and this one is by far the best! Everything is clean, the staff is very polite, and the bathrooms are excellent! You deserve 6 stars!

This morning was the worst experience I have ever had at this location!!!! Jared the front desk guy totally ignored me when I came to the desk had both of his AirPods on his ear no name tag to identify him and helped another person that came after us until I finally said hello can you help me!!!! Lord knows this might’ve set him off to actually do his job he was so rude and just the smart remarks after the questions like it’s ok if you’re having a bad day we all have them but come on now your customer service you don’t have to be friendly but at least be professional for a few minutes poor guy didn’t even want to look me up in any way form or fashion!!!! To the regional managers please do better I couldn’t access my account and simply wanted to see if he could help me and clearly was a disaster on his end wouldn’t even take the time out to do anything every other word was a smart comment please do better and hire the right people because this is the worst situation for any business Hared get help or counseling sir or maybe even retrain in the customer service department again and take the refresher course because you don’t have a clue on how customer service works bro!!!!

Would love to see this place be kept better, every time I’ve come to this location weights are not racked, dumbbells and kettle bells are left sprawled over the green areas, yoga mats are left by squat racks. Each cable machine will have 2-3 accessories next to it. This week I noticed the top of the assisted pull-up machine was covered in dust and what looked like dandruff (ew) I understand this is mostly an issue with guests not having proper gym etiquette but surely the staff can help change this.

I go here to this Eos location pretty much everyday! It’s one of the newer locations, all the staff greet you with a friendly hello, and as you leave they make sure to let you know to have an amazing day! 10/10 for staff. As far as equipment go, there’s so much to choose from and everything is spread out. I love the fact that the layout of the gym is open spaced!! Not all cramped together like other gyms I’ve been to! Give this gym a try!

So far, it's good, awesome equipment. I love the space on Sauna it's bigger, but it doesn't seem hot enough due to the door, it's letting the cold A/C air in a bit, and the backyard I also appreciate that there's a heavy bag to work on but we need another set of those cause I find my self waiting to use it there's 3 guys ahead of me and for the leg section we can use an ankle machine maybe I just didn't see it, other than that it's all good! oh, and one last thing..for the person that did this in the men's locker room mirror....not cool man, 2nd day this gym open, and this is what you do,you must not like nice things

This gym is really amazing. For the price you pay for a membership, it has incredible selection of equipment and brand new stuff. Some of the other EOS gyms are expanding and upgrading around the city as well. It's a very good value. This particular gym on Craig is always really busy but that's just something you would expect for a high quality gym that has a good price.

update: Brand Spanking new gym!! Keep that in mind. This gym does in fact have standing hack squat and belt squat machines Vast amount of machines to minimize waiting and. THANK YOU!!! People leave their used wipe down paper towels all over the place. But thats expected given the clientele . Yeah, i said it! Ya’ll want nice things but dont take care of it, and complain when you dont have it anymore! Throw your paper towels in the trash, not the floor! Also, people dont use personal towels, so expect to wipe down your equipment before you use it. 3 guys were using the lying hamstrting curl, and not one of them wiped the machine down after use. The no pool situation though, boo. I understand why, but thats Nevada’s bs which makes no sense If you dont know how to swim, stay away from the pool

Not crowded and people actually wipe down the machines here! I have had my fill of crowded facilities where (mostly) men monopolize the machines and then walk away leaving their sweat and grease behind. Blah! Or where (mostly) girls post up and scroll through their phones. Here at Planet Fitness, there is never a wait to get onto a machine and people have the manners to wipe them down after working out on them. Give me this purple facility any day over the over-crowded madness of the other places. Plus, the staff is friendly and helpful!

I used to go to this location in 2023, but since I moved I cancelled my membership. I called in and let them know I wanted to cancel, but they said I had to physically go into the location so in September of 2023, I went in and told them I wanted to cancel. They said ok no problem, your membership is cancelled. I kept getting calls all year from planet fitness, but I ignored them assuming they were trying to win me back as a customer…. Big mistake on my behalf. They were actually trying to reach me to tell me I owed them money for my annual membership fee. I finally answered their call and they were quick to inform me my membership was never cancelled. I looked at my bank statements and realized they had been charging me $10 every month for more than a year. When I called in the branch to ask why my membership was never cancelled and to inquire if there was a refund that could be applied since I literally haven’t stepped foot in the location since the day I went in to cancel, whoever the manager was, was rude and immediately said he couldn’t do anything but cancel my membership now (weird since last time I had to physically go into the location to cancel) and said all he could do was try to get a refund request through the district manager which he refused to give me a phone number for. He had zero empathy training and sounded upset that he even had to help me. Then two days later I was charged with a $39 fee to my bank account, for the membership that was “cancelled”. I called back and some rude ass kid named Matt answered the phone, said he didn’t know why I was charged and hadn’t I already been given the email to the district manager. He then proceeded to tell me all he could do was remove my card information from my “cancelled” account. When I asked him what his name was and that I would reach out to someone else who wasn’t so rude, he hung up on me. Beware of shitty employees at this location who have zero empathy training.

This your typical planet fitness it’s clean and serves its purpose. Usually it’s not not too busy. This location has all the machines you expect. The employees don’t bother you and there is plenty of parking. The showers don’t have soap/shampoo to shower remember to bring your own.

The workers are friendly. It never seems to be crowded and I don't have to wait for my favorite machine. Super clean and I love the red light therapy machine and water massage chairs and tables.

The overall convenience this planet fitness has for me fits my needs. Staff greets you when you arrive and cleaning is done continously throughout the day. This location is truly never over crowded during peak time so it allows you to move freely throughout the site. I dont want to share this secret but its a great space! Shhhh dont telll anyone.

I’ve been to several gyms, but the experience at this particular planet fitness stands out! The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. They truly make you feel welcome, no matter what fitness level. The cleanliness of the gym is top-notch. Everything is well maintained from the work equipment to the locker rooms. What really says this location apart that is a management they are attentive organized and clearly dedicated to creating a positive supportive environment. I highly recommend this planet fitness location for anyone who’s looking for a great gym experience.

I recently visited Planet Fitness while traveling and was really impressed! The gym is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making it easy for me to get started even though I wasn’t a regular member. I loved the variety of equipment available, and the atmosphere was comfortable and non-intimidating. It's a great place for anyone looking to get in a good workout. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m in town!

I had a great first experience here. I was a little hesitant just because of the reputation that Planet Fitness gets sometimes, but this had to be one the cleanest gyms I've been to. I'll most likely make this my main gym now. Great staff. And thank you to Andrew for making me feel welcome.

Wow! New ownership is fantastic! Not only is the location completely fresh and clean but it has all the amenities for an efficient workout! The saunas are prestine. The trainers in the programs are super fun and make the workouts really easy to comprehend and do the moves correctly. Not feeling a complete hot workout?! They have great weightlifting equipment in the back with weighted bars, kettlebells and free weights. Vending machine stocked with their great products including the HOTWORX exclusive gummies. Also too mention this is the best HOTWORX location for when you need to run errands after with great healthy food options in the shopping center for post workout grub! Can’t believe I haven’t been here, will most definitely be coming back to this location.

Just signed up as a New Member here at HOTWORX Aliante, I just want to say how clean it is and how super friendly the staff are when I walk in, always encouraging me when I walk in. And most of all I’m in love with all the sessions and equipment that they have here, helps me out a lot especially that I have asthma. I didn’t have to use my inhaler this morning! Just started a membership here 3 months ago and absolutely love it! Unlike most workout classes, these are available 24/7 making it possible to workout despite a hectic work schedule and 2 kids. Also, these classes have modifications to continually challenge so it never gets boring! I’m shocked how nicely my body has transformed for such a short 15 or 30min class. This location is clean, welcoming and organized. I love the staff here and I feel safe working out even during the night-time hours.

Tight knit community and owner is amazing! I always look forward to Saturday morning classes, shoutout Leon! My husband and I tried so many gyms in Vegas and this was by far the best. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic, family-oriented gym dedicated to helping you be the best you possible. The owners and the trainers are wonderful and always offer encouragement. Unlike big name gyms, you have access to the machines with minimal wait. They also have a fabulous baseball clinic weekly. My son participates in this, and he loves it!

I’ve had memberships at lots of different gyms and this one is by far the best. The place is always clean, has a good selection of equipment, and most importantly the other members are all super nice respectful. That’s what you get when you pay a little more for an independent gym over some corporate gym. Seriously just pay the extra 20 bucks a month or whatever the difference is, its worth it. no one is paying me to write this i just hateeeeee corporate gyms. The high performance area is awesome, and the owners are super friendly too. Oh yeah and my favorite part is this place is never packed. Go ahead and try to workout at LVAC between 4-8 p.m. You’re gonna spend twice as long there just waiting to use the equipment

Hands down the best gym in town. Has all the equipment you need plus a performance training side for current/former athletes. Great balance of privacy and social community vibe. Everyone is very friendly, gym is extremely clean and well maintained. Owners are amazing and very welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good gym in Vegas.
