We had a birthday party for our son using the E-Sports room. Communication throughout the entire process was easy. Hannah provided all the information and responded timely. The day of the party Cathy helped set up. She monitored everyone coming in and out the facility making sure only party invitees could enter, since it was an after hours party (5-8pm). The facility was very clean and the gaming host did a great job making sure all the kids were set up and able to play. Outside of the party my family use the gym for exercise and my kids are enrolled at the camp and swim lessons. I would recommended to friends and family.

If you're looking for a nice gym in the Fairless Hills area for individuals and families , then you won't be disappointed with this YMCA. With its recent renovations ( 2021 I think) , you'll find clean and modern exercise equipment and facilities that are sure to meet your fitness needs. Whether you're into strength training, cardio, group classes or anything in between, they've got you covered. They have many programs for kids , families, active adults and everyone in between. The indoor basketball courts and track are perfect for youth , adults, active adults or those who want to switch up their workout routine, and the open seating area is great for relaxing or catching up with friends after your workout. They even offer personal training sessions for those who want extra guidance or support on their fitness journey. Plus, the sauna and indoor pool are great for unwinding after a long day or for getting a low-impact workout. The only downside is the limited class offerings and hours of operation. During the weekends, the gym has limited hours compared to other area gyms, and some members would like to see longer classes and more popular classes offered more frequently. They also close earlier than most in the area. Staying open until 10 pm M - F and 7 pm weekends would be much better and helpful to people who work or want to use the gym on weekends but have a full schedule. I hope management considers this since many members feel this way as I have talked to many. Despite this, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the gym is always clean and well-maintained. Parking can get crowded at times, but it's still manageable. This YMCA is conveniently located near Langhorne and the Oxford Valley Mall, making it a great option for those looking for a gym in the area. Overall, I highly recommend this YMCA to anyone looking for a quality gym with plenty of amenities. The new equipment, variety of workout options, and friendly staff make it a great choice for fitness

Immaculate facility with many amenities that I had zero clue about. The staff members are extremely pleasant. Overwhelmed with how much they have and zero gym experience but looking forward to taking some schedulef group classes.

If the pool is one of the reasons you’re signing up don’t bother. If you’re a working adult it’s pretty much useless. It’s shut down for children classes practically every afternoon

Love taking my Grandsons to the pool. They love going. Everyone in the pool area are so friendly and helpful. It's a nice place to take family

I came here on 11/5 and the gym wasn’t open. I stayed until 5:20am. Cars that were parked waiting, started leaving. I recommend the Bristol/Bensalem gym to save your valuable time. Other than that it’s a great gym! Staff is very friendly! However at the Bristol gym staff is very friendly and they open on time.

2 stars because facility is clean and spacious. Racially profiled my friend. #1 reason for leaving. Corporate sucks, too. They charged me for 2 memberships for about 8 months. Asked manager if there's anything they can do, and I guess he escalated the issue but never heard anything back. Went and got a membership at the YMCA. Happy to pay a bit extra for a fantastic facility. Also, would recommend Retro.

Agree with most of the posts. I cancelled my membership because most of the machines are broken at this facility. It is difficult to cancel your membership! Additionally, I just got charged the annual fee last month and cancelled this month. No one will give me a prorated credit for the 11 months I will not be at this gym as they should. Based on all of the other reviews, I am now concerned they will continue to charge my card even though I have documentation that I cancelled my membership. I will not recommend this gym or franchise to anyone and will encourage others not to join.

I don't recommend this location or gym. It's a complete rip off. Ended a membership for my child 2+ years ago cause of bad accident he was in. The gym still charges my card monthly and their customer service is awful. Their managers on site at locations are cocky, condescending, not trained, and rude.(esp the manager roe) My only recourse has been to close my cards and get new one's. Everyone says their a manager and their cancelation line is foreigners who don't even understand what your asking. Don't waste your time or money. None of their corporate phone numbers or emails work. Their cancelation line is foreigners who can't help you. And the GM at the location also can not help you. This place is worthless and horrible.

This is your true and honest answer of the gym itself, no billing or management will be spoken about. To start off when you enter the door there is normally 1 maybe 2 people at the front desk, you check in yourself and off you go, if you have trouble signing in or setting up your barcode they have 0 issue helping but the crunch app is pretty bad. Not that its their fault. Once youve walked in youll see plates all over the place, obviously its hard to constantly keep them in correct places and people who are working out arent always super helpful which i guess is okay. I dont care too much about looking for a plate or whatever its not too serious of a issue, especially as of really late i see the manager and front desk people consistently keeping up with it. The bench press bars constantly rotate, i guess its due to others preference but what can you do reasonably to insure that doesnt happen, not much. The bench press benches are a little narrow, annoying in the slightest but again it is what it is. The squat/deadlift racks are super nice super high quality probably the best part. T bar and punching bags are available if need be, theres a little bit of turf if you’re into dynamic working out or stretching. The stair master and treadmills seem clean, never broken or anything. The machines are normally well kept and not broken unless its a cable pull machine which those are abused so i cant hold it against them. The bathrooms are very well kept, atleast in the mens. The gyms atmosphere is probably one of the reasons i stuck to this place. Nobodys really too aggressive although it happens when working out, majority of people are polite and ask before even lifting next to you. The people that come here vary in all ages, genders and sizes, everybody just sticks to their stuff. Overall if you were to ask me if this gym is worth it id tell you yes, best gym in our area with a way better price. I hear and see a lot of people having billing issues when it comes to cancelling but im pretty sure some people like to complain more then they like to workout. Their is obviously a corporate catch somewhere in the membership but i dont think its fair to take it out on people who are trying to be helpful, being rude never got anybody anywhere. Huge shout out to Ethan at the front desk who ive come to know from just coming in, always is super nice and welcoming.

Retro Fitness is a very reliable gym. It’s always clean in there, the bathroom and locker room area is also clean, the machines are fairly new and in great condition, there are plenty of free weights, bars, etc. I love that whenever I go in there I’m always welcomed in by a staff member with a smile. The staff are super nice and anytime I mention something is off they immediately jump to fix it. I enjoy the environment that’s in the gym as well, it’s very quiet in there and everyone minds to themselves which I like. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a good gym near them.

This is a gym where regulars are welcomed and accommodated, no matter their age. I am on the top side of 80, received a friendly welcome on my first visit and an orientation with weights and equipment by Danielle, the head trainer. Based on her assessment, she gave me a program to follow. While working with the machines and weights is good for muscles and bones, I also needed to work on mobility and stability. This I found in Yogalates with Samantha Molina. While the class includes younger and more adept participants, she adapts my form to my capabilities. The goal is no pain but improvement with stretching and balance. In addition, I have added a trainer to fine-tune muscles and improve balance. Emilio is great! If you have questions, see Sara at the front. If she cannot respond, you will soon be talking with the owner, Bill. In short, Retro Fitness is my gym home.

The friendly community of members and staff is what sets Retro Fitness apart from other gyms. Not only are you greeted by staff at the front desk, but members greet you with a smile and offer encouragement and support while you're there. It has a family feel you don't get at other gyms. I love coming here every week!

Bill and Dani are AWESOME! I love the entire staff here - and Sara’s big smile makes my day. If you want a boring gym experience maybe this isn’t the place for you. But if you want a place to learn, grow, and develop then I can’t recommend Danielle enough. Dani isn’t only in the business of shaping bodies, she’s in the business of empowering women. Her drive to help truly comes from her spirit and it reflects in all her client interactions. She’s tough and understanding. She will demand of you what you can do and push you in ways that will make you proud. It’s so much more than what you look like - it’s how you feel, it’s how you act. The members are friendly and considerate. The gym is always clean. What else could I ask for!? …maybe a glute room with a Brett Contreras glute bench and a reverse hack squat machine ;)))))

Max Challenge is a great fit for me; I enjoy the classes, adjustable workouts and supportive atmosphere. I’ve achieved more strength and results than what your basic gym offers. Max challenge is a community and the instructors are encouraging, fun, go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and most important, they are invested in your progress. I have seen a tremendous improvement in every area of my fitness since the 7 months of attendance. I also would like to highlight the quality of equipment, cleanliness of the facility, variety of classes offered and overall value for the membership price.

The MAX Challenge is a wonderful gym/program for so many reasons. First, because it’s not just a gym but really a whole lifestyle change, as there’s a nutrition component that coincides with daily workouts. My mom started the MAX a few years ago in Woodbridge, NJ and she couldn’t say enough great things about it and it helped her get back to a healthy weight (and now she’s in amazing shape!), so I decided to join the MAX Challenge of Fairless Hills. I really, really like going to a structured class where we’re doing something a little different every day, where an instructor tells me what to do, encourages me, and pushes me, rather than going to any old gym with machines where it’s on me to motivate myself (which we all know can be a struggle sometimes!). The instructors and fellow members are all so kind and encouraging and supportive. Would highly recommend!!

I have been in and out of the gym for years. This is the first time I feel excited about working out and also disappointed when I miss a class. The coaches and fellow maxers create a very welcoming atmosphere! I am currently half way through my 10 week challenge and can already feel/see the results I was looking for. They take the guess work out of where to start and help you push yourself to that next level. I finally feel like I found a place that won't just be another phase but a place I can achieve my fitness/health goals long term! Don't be afraid to come see for yourself, I promise you, you won't be disappointed.

I always have fun at the Max when I get myself there! Good group of people, down to earth and unpretentious environment with classes that are fun to do! I am a highly resistant gym person and I enjoy my time at the Max more than any other gym. Highly recommend!

I have only been a member for a few weeks, but so far it is awesome! I highly recommend this program. The instructors are so amazing and really take their time teaching you and showing you proper technique, especially if you're a newbie like me!
