I like this gym. It's clean & not busy when I go. Nice staff. 6/16/21: My last day at this gym, since I have a credit at my old gym, so I have to go back to it. This Daly City gym was great. 9/18/23: The gym 🏋️♂️ 💪 was remodeled. I like it. It seems to have more equipment or better positioned throughout. 1 worker said they have new equipment replacements.

Had a great time at this gym while I was living close by but I had to move and sadly canceled my membership but this gym is great, spacious which is what I needed, super clean, and the customer service was always great. I always felt welcomed, especially by Esperanze she really knew how to help you out and go the extra mile, one if many awesome example of the employees there.

I have been going to this gym for about ½ a year. Despite me always having a valid credit card on file I have been billed for a late fee every single month of being a member. Neither the staff onsite nor Planet Fitness Corporate could explain to me why this is the case paying an extra ⅓ of my gym fee every month for no reason is why I cancelled my membership today.

I work out here quite often, and each time I come in, everyone is courteous of one another, and everyone cleans up after themselves. The last gym I used to go to didn't have much equipment and a bunch of weirdos would hang around. And as a woman who works out alone most of the time, that never made me feel safe. But, I enjoy working out here because it's kept clean, there's plenty of equipment, and I feel safe coming to workout by myself.

I have been a regular visitor to this Planet Fitness location in Daly City, and I must say that the cleanliness of the showers and ceilings is severely lacking. There is mold, dirt, soap scum, and even used q-tips left behind by previous users. The showers often have old boxers, hair, and a general lack of cleanliness. The men's locker room consistently has a strong, foul smell that never seems to dissipate. I once found the sink clogged with toothpaste residue from people brushing their teeth, which is quite repulsive. The bathroom stall door has been broken for over a year, showing a lack of maintenance. Overall, the facility, locker rooms, and bathrooms are not cleaned as frequently or thoroughly as they should be. While I understand that it's a busy location, the level of cleanliness is far from satisfactory. Immediate remodeling is necessary, especially to address the mold issue. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the hygiene standards at this location.

I was visiting the bay back in December and looking for a place to work out while I was in town and stumbled across Strength Camp. I checked out their website, signed up for a free trial, and met Coach Jeremy and Coach Pat on the day of my trial. The class was super fun and engaging, and the energy was through the roof! Coach Jeremy was able to break down a lot of my squat technique and give me tips no other coach has ever given me. His level of attention to detail is insane. We also did RDLs as part of the workout and Coach Pat gave me some awesome tips and cues I've never heard before! Sadly, I live too far, but my experience at the gym was a 10/10 experience and I would definitely be going there if I lived closer.

In January, I will have been a member for one year at Strength Camp and all I can say is that if you are wondering whether you should try it or not, you must try it. I have tried tons of SF gyms and workouts over past 9 years and never felt like I found the real deal until coming to Strength Camp SF. They are not into fads, trendy, boutique- y, it’s down to earth, genuine and knowledgeable strength training that accommodates and is inclusive of everyone regardless of your starting point and life stage- that just collectively wants to be stronger and healthier (and this is regardless of your starting point and life stage). There are no gimmicks. All of the coaches (and asst coaches) are not only very knowledgeable but care about your form and your FUN (they are silly and self-effacing too). I have also seen considerable investments and improvements made to the gym over time (equipment, more classes, more coaches), including super fun Paturday sessions (with Coach Patrick) and now 12-1 weekday sessions with Coach Jeremy- all signs of an amazing, supportive environment to foster your health and well-being and have a great time while doing it. Thank you Strength Camp SF!

I've been working out at Strength Camp since November 2020 when they first opened! I was looking for a gym that focused on strength and technique and getting stronger. The 2 original coaches, Kobe and Eric, were exactly what I was looking for. They emphasized technique and progressive overload. Before I knew it, I was lifting heavier than I ever had in my life. The gym has grown into an amazing community. There are now multiple coaches, tons of amazing equipment, colorful murals (!!), classes full of inspiring and hard working people, and so much more. There are also extra opportunities to challenge yourself like weekend yoga, Strongman training for strongman competitions, Olympic lifting technique classes, weekend hikes, and more. In the past year, there have been new coaches added to the staff that add their own expertise and flair to the classes and the overall atmosphere. Patrick, Lisa, Phil, Richard, Jeremy, you have all been great additions! Kobe, you are still #1. I have to give a huge shout out to Coach Jeremy. He is quick to share his expertise on injury prevention, stretching, mobility, and those little extras that help with recovery. He is also open to listening to what members might need in terms of equipment, especially for the strongman community. Our inventory of sandbags has grown exponentially recently and I will be forever grateful that Jeremy and the other staff at Strength Camp really listen to our concerns and desires. Strength Camp is one of the best gyms i've ever belonged to. It's clean, the classes start on time, the music is good, and the workouts are challenging. Thanks for being a great place to get stronger on the SF Peninsula!

I've been a member here since March 2024. Through my time here, I've learned how to deadlift, bench press, squat, and overhead press, among many other things. With the expert help of all the coaches, my strength gains have gone through the roof! Big shout out to all the morning coaches, especially Pat and Jeremy! They’re super awesome and have given me a lot of tips that have helped me improve my lifts. The community here is incredible. Everyone is so friendly and talks to each other! I love having a gym community that makes me feel supported and welcome! And there's no judgment here, which is fantastic. If you are looking for a gym that offers expert coaching, an awesome community, and fun workouts, this is the place for you!

I recently completed the 6-week challenge fitness program at Strength Camp SF, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported by both the staff and fellow gym-goers. The environment is incredibly positive and inclusive, making it a perfect place for anyone, regardless of their fitness level. The 6-week challenge itself was transformative. I started the program weighing 177 pounds and, by the end, I was down to 171 pounds. The changes in my body were noticeable and impressive. Despite being of average weight, I saw significant positive changes in my appearance and overall fitness. I got leaner, developed some definition in my arms, chest, and back, and even saw my ribcage for the first time in years. My gut fat reduced considerably, and I felt more in shape than I have in a long time. I attended classes 5-6 times a week, and every session was a new and exciting challenge. The coaches at Strength Camp SF are phenomenal. They are all certified trainers with a deep understanding of proper technique and exercise variations, which helped me avoid injuries and tailor workouts to my fitness level. Coach Kobe, my assigned nutritional coach, was especially supportive. He held me accountable for my diet, regularly checked in on me through the fitness app, and pushed me to lift heavier weights when he saw I could handle more. His encouragement and expertise were crucial to my success. One of the aspects I appreciated most about Strength Camp SF was the community atmosphere. As an introverted person, I was initially nervous about the social aspect of group classes. However, the coaches were incredibly understanding and never forced me to socialize beyond my comfort zone. This level of respect for personal boundaries made me feel comfortable and allowed me to focus entirely on my fitness goals. The other members were friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive vibe of the gym. In summary, Strength Camp SF exceeded my expectations. The 6-week challenge fitness program not only helped me achieve significant physical changes but also made me feel more confident and healthy. The supportive and knowledgeable coaches, particularly Coach Kobe, played a huge role in my journey. The gym's welcoming community and respect for individual comfort levels made my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Strength Camp SF to anyone looking to improve their fitness, especially those who prefer to keep to themselves. This gym truly is passionate about wanting to see their members become the strongest version of themselves.

I have been to multiple Crunch’s in the Bay Area and I’ve called the Daly City location my home gym for about a year now, and it’s sad to say that recently the price to quality ratio has grown wider. With a recent 10% price increases for this location if you come for body building machines it is no longer worth the price of admissions. I have seen throughout the year Crunch management neglect the upkeep and quality of multiple machines for triceps, back, and bicep. For example the whole gym has one peck deck machine and durning peek hours some machines are impossible to use. While five new very expensive treadmills were installed. If you come to the gym just to run on a treadmill. This is the place for you, but if you’re looking for good quality, bodybuilding, machines or seat availability next to the free weights, you’re better off somewhere else.

Place smells clean and looks clean. Plenty of equipment and they fix it right away when broken. Staff are friendly and helpful. Trainers know what they're doing and they motivate you to achieve your goals, granting you put work on it. Big shout out to Anthony, Kirby and Andre for being part of my fitness journey.

I have a great time at their Zumba and Cardio Dance Blast classes. The instructors are friendly, down-to-earth, and they make the moves easy and fun to follow. It's a great place to focus on yourself and get moving. And since it's in the mall, it makes it feel similar to a Target run- you can squeeze it in to your week. And crunch!

It’s getting hard to get in a good work out lately. The gym is packed to where your standing long periods waiting for a machine. Then I try to work out on the room and it’s close for cleaning, ok fine I go to the steam and and it’s ALSO closed. It’s 2pm it’s crazy that they do all the cleaning now. Why can’t you guys do one thing at a time. Be considerate for people who can only come at this time. To say front desk people aren’t friendly. The lady at the front is always having attitude to anything you ask her. For the price they charge I’d expect better customer service and more reliability on workout rooms/steam room.

General manager was the worst person I have ever worked with. He was pushy to get my card info over text to get me to sign up. But when I needed help with my account I got stupid excuses like the printer doesn't work, or he sends me to workout saying he'll have the docs ready after. When I am done he "left for the day". Even after signing the documents needed for the rate adjustment we agreed on, I still got charged with the higher rate. That is the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced in my life. How could one say things will get done, have you sign an official document and not push through with it. "Corporate didn't process the request". It was too many headaches at this point that I am certain I will NEVER sign up for another Crunch gym again. Thank you Mervyn for making me hate Crunch as a corporation so much. And if it isn't obvious, I brought my business somewhere else. Yessica was more helpful tho.
