I really hate to do this but unfortunately I’m left with no choice. I have been a member at 10 gym for a few years now and utilized their third-party personal training company, Lighthouse. Since Lighthouse has failed to provide a trustworthy platform to leave a review, I’m forced to leave it here so others will be aware of the risk you are taking when signing up for personal training sessions through 10 gym. I’ve now been charged for 4 months with no services provided by lighthouse. They have no phone number or email to contact anyone and you are left at the mercy of the 10 gym staff to leave messages for the light house manager to call back. Two of their trainers quit on me pin October and nobody contacted or called me back to set up an appointment. I called to cancel my contract with them and was provided a link to send my notice to cancel services. I never received an email or anything to show I canceled it. Then I got charged for Nov and December and finally was able to get in touch with the lighthouse manager at 10 gym after calling multiple times. He assured me that the auto pay was turned off and for some reason I have been charged again in January. I’m canceling my card and alerting the media of the situation in hopes that nobody else falls into this trap. Until someone makes it right, I’m keeping this one star review on 10 gyms page too.

I’ve been coming to this gym consistently for a year, and I love it! The gym is always clean, and the staff are so friendly! Destiny made a point to remember my name and greets me by name every day! She’s amazing!

Came to Tulsa for vacation and CANNOT recommend 10-Gym more…this is an awesome gym with plenty of things to do and tons of space. Cleanliness was on par. Staff was very inviting and helpful. 10/10 recommend these facilities in Tulsa OK

I love to go there and swim. The people are nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is an older gym but well maintained. It is actually a 20 minute drive for me, I go there instead of VASA that is 10 minutes closer.

BEWARE: I signed up for a membership online because they advertised the first 30 days as free. I went to the gym for the first time, and it was a nightmare. The ceiling tiles were brown and stained, and several machines were broken. It was shocking that they had such high ratings. Then I found out why—my husband came with me and accidentally left his driver’s license at home. The staff told him that if he left them a 5-star review on Google, he could come in without it! This explains their inflated ratings. When I tried to cancel my membership within hours of signing up, they refused unless I provided proof of military deployment or a medical letter. This is absurd! Given how unclean this place is, I might need a medical letter after working out here. Horrible service, terrible experience, and an unclean facility. Don’t give these crooks your money!

What motivates me the most is knowing that friendly faces will greet me at the front desk. Chris Knudsen and Autumn always stop what they are doing make eye contact with me and say hello with true enthusiasm, and as a bonus, I am greeted with some funny conversation to start my day. Chris Knudsen and Autumn always help me feel welcome and excited that I came to work out. It is the small "consistent" efforts that people like Chris and Autumn put in every day that make YMCA Dickenson branch an enjoyable experience and also a deciding factor as to where I want my 3 kids and I to commit our time and energy to weekly. I feel connected to a good community with good people.

Staff is very friendly, and there is access to a very wide range of equipment and machines. My only gripe is that it tends to get poor ventilation in back of the gym section, which makes it feel hot very easily. However, there are fans in place to combat this issue.

I’ve been to many other gyms like the YMCA, Planet Fitness and more but Genesis Health club is definitely my favorite! Matt is the Manager and he goes above and beyond for his clients. From working with billing issues and concerns, to literally just interacting with you between sets or bar grabs. Nothing is ever forced either. The atmosphere is genuinely amazing. He runs a lovely staff too; the cleaning man and the service desk. They are all kind and helpful. They have a daycare and the staff actually likes the children. I truly have never experienced gym life like it. Matt Whitsell big ups family!!

I had a great experience at Genesis, and I can’t recommend them enough! Ashley was incredibly kind and helpful from the moment I walked in. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and had all my questions answered. Whether it was about the equipment, class schedules, or membership options, Ashley was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about my experience.

This by far has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a gym in my life. . I’ve paid these guys for 4-5 months and been there once and refuse to go back because of lack of transparency. I did a 6 month agreement because they were offering it for $48 a month the first install you withdrew $80 and then have been pulling $60 a month since the money is not the problem again it’s because I had signed up for $48 and when I asked about this and wanted to cancel it was $200 to cancel none of this was displayed with any transparency a total rip off. Please be aware there is a reason not many people attend this Gym. Not to mention there was outbreaks with members swimming in the pools

Been going here for a while and have always liked this location. Laid back and friendly atmosphere. The pool and sauna are a bonus. The management is top notch and will work with you if you have guests in town or home from college. Great place!

This club is so absurdly garbage, that they can't even keep clean towels available when their hot water isn't working. How can a gym not have hot water available? In the winter? That is at least 2 Genesis locations with this problem--here and Midtown. This place has given up so much, that they have an actual coreboard sign on an easel, letting you know how disappointing they are. That is just embarrassing.
