When I first walked into Steel Fitness Premier I immediately noticed the laid-back yet energizing vibe. The space is bright and open, with large windows letting in natural light. One thing I really appreciated was the quiet, focused energy—it's not the kind of gym that feels overly crowded or chaotic, making it perfect for people who want to focus on their workouts without unnecessary distractions. The staff were incredibly friendly from the start. From the front desk, the management and to the trainers, everyone seemed genuinely happy to help. When I asked about equipment or the schedule for group classes, the staff were quick to offer information without being pushy. I also noticed the personal trainers interacting with clients throughout their sessions giving tips, encouragement, and a friendly word when needed. When it comes to cleanliness, this club, not just a gym, exceeded my expectations. The equipment was always wiped down after use and they are always in good shape. I saw staff regularly walking around cleaning the machines. The locker rooms were great, with stocked amenities. It's clear that the club lifestyle and environment is a priority here, which is a big plus for me as a member. Overall, my experience at Steel Fitness Premier has been very positive. You get what you pay for, definitely worth it as there is no other club/gym in the Lehigh Valley that has all of the amenities and everything Steel Fitness has to offer. The welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and cleanliness make it a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and motivating space to work out.

Stopped in for a visit to tour the facility and get costs. Husband and I just moved into the area and wanted to get right back into our routines. Not only were we ignored completely by not one but TWO employees neither even acknowledged us at all!!! If zero was an option to rate, that would be my choice. To the gentleman that was at the desk. You saw us and couldn’t even stop the phone-call you were on long enough to even hold up a finger saying one moment. Nothing?!?! And to the younger female that walked back and forth twice and did the same?? Ok. Just saying that I could have completely walked past the front desk without checking in at all and not one person would have questioned me. Guess maybe I don’t need a membership. Maybe I’ll test that theory. To anyone paying for a membership, why bother?

I have not been to this Gym in 7 months because I moved. I was told if I want to cancel I would have to pay $500. The customer service representative suggested I just suck it up and wait for the contract to end. So it’s the end of my contract and I call to let them know I’m definitely not joining again , just for them to tell me they already enrolled me into the next year. No warning, no email, no reminder just that they already enrolled me into the next year. I ask them to please reconsider my contract ends in October, I have been paying $100 a month to a gym I don’t go to , I moved.I’m trying to get out of this contract. They tell me I’m going to have to pay for November, and if I want to cancel I have to come in and sign papers but I still have to give another $100 for November . Are you kidding me??? I asked several times if they could reconsider , and the answer was NO. This is not customer service. This is not right! Considering my circumstances, that I don’t even go to the gym, and I’ve been trying to get out of the contract in over 7 months now. The woman manager I spoke to was a robot!!!!The decency! They are a scam, no mercy here. They could care less about their customers!!!

I have really enjoyed my experience here. Friendly staff, always willing to engage in conversation and help out as needed. Equipment is good quality and functional. Locker room and spin studio are recently renovated and enjoyable to use. Shoutout to Patrick and Jasmine, always super friendly and happy to be at the gym!

I've been lifting and going to gyms for about 16 years. This is not my favorite weight room, but is probably the best total package fitness center in the area. The reason for 3 stars is the lack of preventative maintenance. I have complained off and on for the 1.5 years that I've been a member here (and I average 5-6 days a week attendance) about the dumbbells being loose. They may sometimes tighten them, but not on a regular schedule. Leaders: to fix the problem, go around the corner to harbor freight and pick up some threadlock. Spend about an hour with a drill and remove all of the securing bolts in the dumbbells, put a little threadlock on, and screw them back in. That's all it would take to forever fix your problem. Plus, most of the equipment needs oiling and deep cleaning. But there's no place better, so I give you that much. UPDATE 30may24 - dumbbells still loose... Update 20June2024: why fix things when you can tape them? Update 30Jul2024- dumbbells still loose! Update 12Aug2024- 30lb dumbbells almost came loose in my hands. Reported equipment issues to front desk yesterday, watched him write it down, will update if it ever gets fixed

Nice pool, and decent facilities. Could be so so much better. Their cleaners do a very poor job on cleanliness and seem fixated on pressure washing the poolside shower area. However, the shower stalls are really mouldy and dirty and no attempt seems to made to deal with that. Shower stalls and drains are constantly covered human hair that never gets removed. The soap and shampoo units are more frequently empty than full. The Nazareth YMCA did a much better job on cleanliness. For the pricing, the lack of cleanliness is appalling. Providing feedback is not welcomed at reception. A suggestion for management is to make it easy to provide feedback via a system where members can provide it easily and see actions being taken to rectify the issues. Not sure if it is lack of training, extremely low standards or just indifference. It should be fixed. Some front desk personnel can be rude and not helpful. Customer service training needed or switch them out. Again, compare to the Nazareth YMCA, performance is very poor.

It is a beautiful and wonderful place to the right people. Upon entry, we are impressed with the building, the parking lot and the service desk and the very spacious lobby. Everything gives the aurora of a resort. the basketball court is NICE and clean. The bathrooms and family change rooms are nice. We did not try the machines. The drawback for us is the swimming pool. The room and water temperature is too not for training. For kids to play, there is no lifeguard on duty. Every piece of metal in the swimming area is rusty. The good part is that there are bicycles in the water for people to ride. Then i realized that it is called “Wellness Center”. Maybe it is meant for people to do therapy or recover or hang out. I hope the center could survive and prosper. I do not think it is for serious swimmers. but if you are close by, this center offers a lot of warmth and comfort and niceties like a Florida resort.

I love this place. It’s well worth the price for all the amenities they offer. Staff is always friendly, and they have a ton of classes to join. They also have an indoor warm therapy pool and hot tub which is amazing when your back hurts. I highly recommend this gym to anyone. The only downside is their guest program, you can only bring the same guest once every 60 days or purchase a two day guest pass for 50$. Everyone that I’ve encountered in the gym is friendly both early morning and later at night.

I love Valley Wellness center. The outdoor pool is usually pretty full during weekends, I prefer indoor pool for swimming. Sauna and locker rooms are clean and well maintained

We just started our membership this week. So far, it seems pretty nice. It's a bit more pricy than regular box gyms, but they have 2 indoor pools, an outdoor pool for the summer, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Plus a basketball court, pickle ball, a golf simulator(extra $), amongst other amenities.
