Best Gyms with Functional Training Equipment near Lubbock, Texas

I phoned intending to purchase a gift certificate membership for a friend who really wants to join. The woman who answered the phone did not explain the tiers of membership very well. When I asked for clarification, she was rude and condescending. I think a spa day will be a better idea. A few weeks ago I made the mistake of making an online inquiry. I started feeling harassed by the continous phone calls by Hotworx.

HOTWORX has been amazing for me, the staff is awesome and very friendly, I love working out here and the classes they provide!

I have been coming here for a couple months now and I have always been welcomed with open arms until today. The facility is always clean and well maintained. However today the staff working was very pushy and rude. She talked down to me when I asked for help while introducing HotWorx to one of my good friends. We felt like we were being pushed out and unwelcome. EDIT: I was called by the manager and felt heard about my experience. Receiving an apology really does make a world of difference, and i’m grateful for this communication!

Front desk engaged in deceptive trade practices. CFPB complaint initiated. Your front desk staff engaged in Deceptive trade practices- your “contract” has holes a mile wide and also includes your responsibilities- which you’ve failed to comply with. As a business that runs in the United States it is important to not engage in deceptive and fraudulent business practices. It is so sad that this is how you choose to respond instead of with dignity and respect. Any individual looking at this business should in my opinion stay far far away.

So- I canceled both mine- and my husband’s membership as evidenced by my bad review below and yet you’re still charging me for my husband. You’d think after my first review, you’d stop these ridiculous practices and maybe just grow up a bit in general. You’d think you’d understand you’re running a business and need to do what’s right. I’ll be reporting the charge as fraud now.

I travel all over the country for work and this is hands down the best AF I've been to. Not top 5 , not top 3, the BEST. Great amenities, very clean, right amount of toilets/showers and the demographic of members...how can I put this. Let's just say if you left the windows down in your car they'd break in to LEAVE you money. They may not season their food the best but you'll always feel safe and respected. 5/5

We have been working out at this Anytime Fitness for 3 years. It is a very clean facility. They work very hard to keep it clean. It has all the equipment we could possibly need. Yes, at times it gets busy, a sign of a successful business, but if you are patient, you will be able to get to what you need. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this gym for your workout needs.

I loved this gym because the attention to the maintenance and cleaning was like no other. But recently it seems like the gym is no longer being taken care. There has been too much dust everywhere and uncleaned restrooms.

So this is a fantastic little gym. You walk in and are greeted almost immediately. They have a sitting area for you to hangout with a TV. And they have NICE machines. Everything was well maintained. Spacious for the space size. It was organized well. Lots of hammer strength machines which are some of my favorite. The power rack area is a little tight, but they have everything well maintained and stuff is super nice. Probably one of the better anytimes I have been to. My only beef with this gym is how far it is from where I stayed. But it's Lubbock where everything is 10 minutes away. So, while it's 10 minutes away after working in the hospital all day it just sucks. But if that's my only complaint then honestly, I don't have much to complain about here. Go sign up for this gym. It's great.

This is a great fitness center. I don't play tennis so I won't comment on the tennis courts. The gym side of the business is exceptional. The weight equipment is first class as are the treadmills. The spin studio is the nicest I have been in. I have been a member of numerous Gold's Gyms, YMCA's and independent gyms that offered spin classes and this one by far the nicest. Clean, orderly and the music isn't played so loud you are doing hearing damage in a fifty minute class. The staff at the center haver all been over the top friendly and helpful. Hands down the best gym in Lubbock.

We did a pool party at the Falls for my daughter’s birthday. Mia and her team provided excellent service and we enjoyed having the cabanas to ourselves. I didn’t have to worry about anything. We got an excellent value for our money. We will definitely book a pool party at the Falls again!!

I went in to this gym today because I was interested in a membership to use the tennis courts. The front desk members who helped out were very friendly and welcoming. However the manager “Ronda” was very rude to me and my party. She was condescending, and didn’t even go over membership options. She went out of her way to make us feel unwelcome and dumb for not knowing there policies or prices. I do not recommend this place to anyone if you are interested in tennis courts go elsewhere.

i have nothing but compliments for this place its clean, quiet, well maintained, family friendly, and has all the equipment I need for my workouts. Alan does a great job running the place. PS I checked my gym agreement and it doesnt look like this gym has any connection to trufit? the company on my agreement is abc fitness so maybe they were owned by this company in the past but currently i do not think it is.

Love love love my Rockbox family. They make working out seam easy until you are sore the next day. I highly recommend this if you’re interested in getting back into a routine. They will hold you accountable and you will enjoy it.

Joining Rockbox has been life changing. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this good about myself and in my own body. The trainers and staff are so sincere and supportive and the members are friendly and fun. You really feel like you’re able to be yourself and work your hardest.

I would like to start working out here, but it’s impossible to get a hold of anyone. I tried to sign up for a free class online, but it says that someone is going to get back with me and no one has. I tried showing up during business hours, and the door is locked. I’ve tried calling, but it goes to voicemail and no one returns.

RockBox fitness is the best place to train or work at in Lubbock TX. Their members are like family and their classes will keep you coming back for more. I could not in good faith recommend anywhere else around to achieve your fitness goals!!
