I've been a member for literally 2 days and I'm getting charged 15 for the whole month. I get it, I have to pay that every month, fine but I was just asking about it and the guy was so incredibly rude saying, "well maybe you should've waited 2 more days so you wouldn't have to pay". And then I felt he belittle me because I only paid the $1 down. I said to him, "that's your slogan $1 down and $15 a month" it's just crazy how rude people can be.

First time at this club, I asked for help at the front desk and the dude with the General Manager badge didn’t want to help me and just directed me to the app. While I was doing what he asked he kept asking me to move out of the way for other guests (there’s no available seating and plenty of space for people to walk into the gym). I couldn’t get help through the app and asked for help again and he seemed bothered and said he would just do it on the computer and told me to go. He could have helped me like that originally. Rude and condescending behavior from General Manager at a gym that claims not to be that type of gym.

Recently came back to this location after not returning for 4 years and the changes made to the facility as well as the parking situation honestly made me sad for people who have this location as their main gym/ non black card members. This used to be the nicest location in town but I definitely don't feel the same.

Not for weightlifting. Missing a ton of essential equipment for weightlifting namely barbells, benches, and squat racks. I'm not the most jacked dude, mainly just trying to stay healthy and strong but the lack of equipment here seems like it's meant to discourage people from working out. Even machines don't have a lot of variety for chest and arm workouts. Not really much better than an apartment gym, just bigger. And it gets pretty crowded 5-8pm.

It’s a clean place, easy parking, no long lines. We’ve got free weights, Nautilus, and plenty of space in the back for black card members. I used to like the vibrating chairs in the back.

The payment system this company uses is horrible. Once a payment method is used and rejected for whatever reason, your system will refuse to run it again. A prompt along the lines of "hard decline already issued" is displayed and it will refuse to run the payment. I try the app, clerk tries running card on file and I tried inserting card just to be refused every way. $20 is a joke for you people to have such extreme measures on your payment system. If you are going to refuse cash payments at least invest money into a decent payment system. Your clerk Kiana also refused me entry, you lost a customer today and earned yourself this review.

Alejandro is an amazing worker!! I always receive great customer service from him every time I walk into this planet I always get greeted by him with a big smile! Makes me feel very welcome. You can tell He loves his job and appreciates the customers from planet! not only that, but he’s always making sure that all the machines and gym is clean. Every time I come into this, Gym I know that they always have the cleaning solution and paper towels on stock and I don’t have to worry about not finding any to clean the machines because they always have them stocked up! I always see Alejandro cleaning throughout his shift. The restroom and the whole gym cleanness’s is immaculate! He is every well known with customer due to his phenomenal service.

JOIN NOW FOR JUST $1 the sign proudly proclaims. Not so fast, shipmates. Actually - according to their website - Startup Fee $1; Monthly Dues $10 ; Annual Fee $39. Add all that up for 12 months and it comes out to about $173.20 including tax. So why did they want to charge me $215.xx for the same exact thing? The answer IS - I don't know. And neither did the lady (staffer) who was advising me. She finally asked some guy at the counter and he said there was another $20 or so for something or other, I don't remember what. The staffer didn't know about that fee and it's certainly not listed on their website. Still doesn't add up to the $215 and change. AND! this cheaper plan is the only plan you can pay a year in advance for, and pay for with a credit card, according to the staffer. On the $22.99 plan you cannot pay a year in advance, or pay with a credit card. They will only debit your checking account on a monthly basis. Why are they so bent on taking it directly from a checking account? AND! what makes the difference if you pay by the month or by the year? AND! what does it actually cost to join? I think we can rule out one dollar. I don't trust any place that advertises one price and charges another. Especially if they have my credit card or bank account numbers. But that's just me. So, I wouldn't join even if it were free. Proceed with caution friends and neighbors.

The place seems clean and neat, however any question I have for the staff, even for a simple answer such as “will my card be charged next month if I cancel now?” they need to check in with their manager.

I’ve had a great experience at this gym, and the front desk staff is always amazing—especially Chris! He’s always been super helpful and friendly. One time, I forgot my headphones, and he made sure to save them for me. It’s the little things like this that make the gym feel welcoming and well-run. Highly recommend!

I’ve had a fantastic experience at Tru Fit! The yoga classes are incredibly well-structured, with skilled instructors who create a calming and supportive environment for all levels. The personal training sessions are top-notch—my trainer is highly knowledgeable, tailoring each session to my fitness goals and ensuring I’m progressing safely and effectively. The gym itself is clean, well-equipped, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for group classes, personal attention, or a mix of both, this gym is an excellent choice!

The gym is not bad, installations are good and the trainings and classes are good but the managers constantly try to push you into purchasing more expensive packages. I come from using local gyms and I decided to give a try to a chain but it was not pleasant. The cancellation process its extremely inconvenient and I had to pay an extra monthly fee and an annual fee due to their 30day cancellation policy which is ridiculously, now I have extra time access to a gym I didn’t wanted to attend anymore

This gym has been trapped in time since it was EP fitness, Chuze came to add a small room with Squat racks and doubled the prize in membership. Lacks of Ventilation/AC EVERY time you enter you get this Musky smell due to lack of ventilation, Horrible gym tbh Will cancel my membership as soon I get a chance to visit because they don't do it by phone.

I used to go the the Paragon location , which they closed down, and that location was much better than this one. It was cleaner, bigger and had more equipment and the energy and vibe was better. The staff was friendlier, especially Bella. I can tell Resler location never mops the floors because I see the same stains on the floor all the time. At Paragon, I would always see the ladies mop, here never. They should’ve closed down the Resler location and kept the Paragon location.

I've gone to dozens of gyms, and Chuze has exactly what you need. You have the cardio equipment, machine weights, and free weights. This doesn't include all the extra equipment Chuze brought in the past few months. Under new management, I have seen cleaning is a top priority. Give this place a try and you might be surprised.

Been a member at anytime fitness ( in another state) previously, went in to inquire about membership pricing and was greeted by an employee who seemed like she really did not want to be there. No emotion in her voice whatsoever and didn’t really seem to care if I joined or not. Didn’t offer to show me around the gym or ask me about myself at all. Again, didn’t really seem to want to make a sale. I was given 2 membership options and and absolutely zero room to negotiate. If you want to have a gym people want to be at, try making potential members feel like they are wanted. Go to the other anytime or a different gym. EDIT: this gym was super responsive and did their best to make me feel valued. Changed to 5 stars

First of all, the facility is super cool and very versatile. The staff is welcoming and nice overall. My gripe lies with the fact that the facility could do with a little more attention as it sometimes feels dirty; and not to say that is all on the gym itself but people lack etiquette with re-racking weights correctly and cleaning up the equipment they’ve used- including yoga mats:( If that could be a little more regulated this would be a 5/5 for me.

Just lost a customer, I've been in and out of hospitals and haven't been able to make money and so crunch has been charging my empty bank account over and over, it doesn't get through and my bank charges a fee for failed payments, they apparently cant stop charging me until I pay my late fees, I'm gonna just work with my bank to reject their charges but thats ridiculous, I asked the lady who answered, "so you'll be charging me over and over until I pay, even though I'm not going to the gym and put my bank account more and more in the negative?" To which she replied a confident yes, that's ridiculous, what an awful customer service, deliberately screwing over your customers isn't cool 👎

Changed my review from 5 stars to 1...unfortunately, this gym has progressively gone downhill. It went from friendly trainers and staff to poorly managed and lazy staff. Broken water fountain, which supposedly is fixed frequently. Missing equipment, broken machines, glad I'm not the owner. One of the staff informed me that the gym has no intention of replacing missing equipment. Do better.

I went to cancel my membership, that I had not utilized for the past 6 plus months and asked to cancel before my yearly fee charged off. The guy told me that I had to pay the monthly fee and the yearly fee before I cancelled which was $98. I asked why and he said that was their “30 day policy” he then said let me talk to my manager to see if he can help. Greg the manager right away said you have a $98 balance that needs to get paid. I understand if I have to pay the monthly payment but the yearly is ridiculous. I then said what’s your corporate number? Greg said he didn’t know and even if I called them they would just direct me straight to their gym. Meaning there’s no hope. This is an embarrassment to an establishment like this. Not worth the money horrible customer service. I’m not one to rate places negatively but this was a prime example of a 1 star rating. Update!!! I E-mailed them like they said, explaining the situation, and didn’t even get a reply saying they would look at the situation. Kurt was very short and didn’t say anything until I pointed out that no reply was going to happen. He replied by saying that 24hrs have not passed yet. A little while later he replied with saying that everything Greg did was right and did a very poor apology for how his manager Greg handled the situation. I would have left the review at that if there was no response, but they wanna act slick by responding and having no solutions afterwards. That’s BS just take the rating and don’t say a word. This may or may not make difference but if you want to join a gym, I recommend you stay away from this one specifically. Kurt and his crew are very unprofessional, the money is the last thing I wanted, all I wanted was a more professional and apologetic outcome. It’s unfortunate but I guess you can’t teach manners.

I came from another gym that I had bad experience with … so when I walked into this gym I was scared and not sure what to think…just the first week I was there the staff made me feel very comfortable and encouraged me along the way ..a lot of smiles and how are you ? Words of encouragement also …the woman there are so empowering and sweet! Compliment each other it was something I needed .. I didn’t feel judged for going heavy or going a long time…people don’t rush you or pressure you on machines they allow you to take your time…I loved that I could stay in one area as long as I needed and no one says you need to move …the cleaning lady Mrs . Cleo is the most sweetest woman I ever met! She greets everyone hugs you loves you and cleans so good!!! I’m telling you I never ever been to such a humble gym in my life …I came from a pricy gym and I’m telling you right now this gym is way more better then the pricy one .. it’s the environment you need to feel good in your environment your in and I feel so blessed to have walked into this place !!! I LOVE ❤️ IT!!!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is kept clean and best of all it’s not overly packed to the point of waiting in line. The only draw back is the pricy contracts. Otherwise one of the BEST gyms for weightlifting, plenty of workout machines and treadmills. There are bathrooms with showers and I like the safety features.

I love this gym! They offer free weights, machines, cardio room, fitness classes, and tanning. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing is that at nights it gets crazy busy. Most of the free weights will be gone etc. So just make sure to go at good times if you want more space. Also, sometimes it's a little dirty. I try to wipe down the machines before I use them as well. Overall a great place to workout.

Yvonne and the owner were very accommodating. We visited the gym the day before we worked out to pay our drop in fees. Yvonne was very friendly a gave us all the information we needed. One the day of our drop in they explained the class and they let me take a corner to myself to do my own programming while my wife learned a lot from the OLY class. Great team, great people and great Crossfit gym. We will be back when we come to El Paso again.

CLEAN. CLEAN. CLEAN! Why do you have to be so far from me? If you were closer, I’ll wake up at 5 am during weekdays, just to go to the gym. It is a small location but not small enough to get all your work out done. Love their infrared individual sauna and I don’t think I ever waited too long during my free trial. There is enough treadmills for everybody and all equipment are working properly. I’ve tried many gyms and Chuze fitness is the best for me.

Chuzr has been one of my go-to gyms for quite some time. With the numerous locations in Southern California along with the amenities...you can't beat this place. I opt for the premium package which includes the tanning, infra red saunas, and hydro massage beds.. almost forgot the guest privileges as well at no added cost. I do have memberships at LA and 24 hr as well, but you seriously can't beat this place. I used to go to 24 hr for the steam rooms but with COVID, there's no reason to anymore. If you need a good local gym, with great classes, this is the place to go. I hope you all enjoy this place as much as I do.

I've been coming here for many years. I'm talking like I'm a very dedicated gym goer. I am there at least 4 to 5 times a week every week. i have seen this place before the remodel and the employees in and out of this place with that being said.I really wish they would fix the bathroom sinks and hand dryers and stay on top of reupholstering the equipment. This place has been under better management in the past. I don't know what's going on but some improvements are definitely needed. The cleaning lady is awesome. She's very nice and I'd like to acknowledge her. This is still my favorite gym, but I wish it was the immaculate gym that used to be. The managers need to pay attention to details. There's no reason why the bathroom sinks should be broken for half a year now.

Updated review, includes photos. Was better before they remodeled. Now people at the front desk are always on their phones, men’s bathroom always smells terrible and one of the urinals is always broken. On top of this, the gym equipment takes forever to be repaired. One of the pictures shows a cable that’s been broken for months. I came in today to find another broken. After this, I decided to update my review. Thankful for the new equipment but come on. Why can’t they fix the equipment that’s been broken for months? So sad. It was way better before. Whoever provides the reply, please don’t contact me. That is pointless. Contact whoever needs to fix this at the center.

Visiting family in El Paso Texas, using the black card we were able to get a workout in. This establishment differed from ours in Tucson as far as setup. I would imagine they all have a different layout depending on the size of the building. I don't know how old this establishment is, but was very disappointed in the fact that half of their cleaning stations were empty. The young lady at the counter looked not interested in doing anything. All the machines that maybe one worked as we needed them to. I would use this facility again.

The gym was one of the busiest I have seen and the machines I used worked well and the place was clean. I really liked the parking lot and trees and landscaping around the place. It had bigger tv screens than most and the spa area was more separate than some with its own music and lounge area for decompressing. They also had a nice schedule for orienting people to proper use of equipment and workouts. On the downside, there was no signage warning me there was no hot water so I stood in the shower freezing waiting for the hot water about 10 minutes wasting water. I did not like the placement of the dressing rooms and there was no hooks or even a chair to set things on or drape clothes muck less sit on. Also no water in one of the sinks and there were no water bottle fillers with the water fountains.

the staff is rude AS HELL. i recently went to this location with my mom as i didn’t want her to go alone and planned on sitting at one of the tables in the front (where people are allowed to sit) while i waited for her. an employee stopped us immediately and told my mom she needed to sign me in as a guest, to which she said i was not going to work out just sit in the front. this employee proceeded to say “well we don’t babysit here.” mind you i am a 5’4 girl wearing dark makeup currently attending COLLEGE. the manager later came to apologize but not after him and the employee who made that remark were practically gossiping like teenagers behind the counter looking at me. not to mention the lack of professionalism when it comes to the massage chairs, some days they allow my mom to bring guests and other times stop her and say she can’t bring anyone. we’re seriously reconsidering switching gyms because this place is nothing but a joke.

A few years ago, after the Walmart tragedy in town, my friends and I wanted to host a fundraising car wash to donate all proceeds to the El Paso Community Foundation. When I approached Marc, the owner, he didn’t hesitate to help. He graciously allowed us to use the parking lot at Water Line and even purchased car wash supplies for us to use. What stood out the most was the incredible sense of community Marc and the staff have built at Elev8. Many of the gym members not only supported our efforts by bringing their cars to be washed, but some even jumped in to help us wash the vehicles being dropped off. It’s a testament to the welcoming, supportive environment Marc and his team have fostered. This business doesn’t just deliver on fitness—it promotes a true sense of community, which is more valuable and admirable than any sophisticated gym amenity out there. Highly recommend!

I did CrossFit here. I’ve been doing CrossFit for over 10 years, and this box was not the best overall. A few of my complaints are: 1. The coach would workout with the class on Saturdays. Their reasoning was “someone needed a partner.” I would see people doing improper form and the coach wasn’t around to correct because they were working out with the class. I personally have an issue with the coach working out with the class. 2. I found out that one of the CrossFit coaches was not certified. If the owners let this slide, I wonder what else they let slide. Do they allow personal trainers not to be certified? Huge red flag. Also, I wonder how many other coaches weren’t certified to teach CrossFit. This is the reason this pushed me from a 3 star to a 2 star review. 3. Sooooo many times I saw people doing in proper snatch, clean, deadlift, etc form and the coach didn’t say anything. The coach would just let it go. Positive note: Melissa who teaches the 0600 on Monday and Tuesday is fantastic. Always had modifications and was very accommodating. Definitely go to her class if you’re new. I’m glad I knew what I was doing going into this box. I knew how to modify most movements and knew proper form. I think this box is fine if you know what you’re doing. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend this for beginners or novices.

Overall a decent gym. Good equipment selection and availability, though in some areas equipment is crowded into small spaces. Inflexible contract terms are a downside, as there is no way to terminate early unless you want to flat out pay the lump sum of your contract. Having an early buyout fee would be a better solution, as some folks have things come up where they can no longer utilize their membership and should not have to subsidize a gym they are not putting wear and tear onto. The men's bathroom does not have proper ventilation. About 70% of the time it smells like someone died in there and is likely not up to health code standards. The parking situation is bad.

I’m so glad I found this gym! I usually go to the CrossFit class, but they have EVERY machine you need. Restrooms are always clean and the people at the front are always welcoming.

I've been coming here for about 2 years and I still love this place! I've never seen a fitness facility quite like it. It offers a regular gym going experience with free weights, machines, cardio equipment, and personal trainers on one side. On the other side, there are more weights and areas dedicated to group classes, including crossfit and an all female area. In addition to all of this, they offer childcare for children 6 months and older at a very affordable rate. The people who work here are very personable, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I highly recommend you check it out!
