Should not be classified as 24/7 IF NOT OPEN 24/7, every holiday is closed even the wack ones and a lot of people don’t celebrate holidays. As well should not have fabric towels because it accumulates germs and everybody’s germs just is being wiped on the machines over and over until the towel is changed. And this is one of the gyms that charges the most and no paper towels???? And then no update it’s been the same since the first time I went 8 years ago and how am I being charged the same as the people in foothills who are using new updated equipment. AND THEN IF OVERCHARGING is not enough they still have the audacity to charge extra 5 dollars to use both locations??? Not even 24/7 fitness that charges 10 dollars less and can use any location AND EVEN IN CONSTRUCTION PUTTING IN THE FLOOR THEY WERE STILL OPEN. AND IF THE ONLY REASON YALL SEE ME THERE IF YOU FIND OUT WHO I AM, THIS MONTH IS CUZ I ALREADY PAYED 2 months ahead to cancel. Other than that very clean 🤗🤗

People don't clean the machine after use..it's always crowded..and it smells in there, I understand it's a gym people sweat but it smells. They need to open up the back doors. Staff is nice.

4th Ave gym is great. Old school bodybuilding feel and very friendly people, both staff and members alike. I've enjoyed all my time there greatly and am glad I chose them as my gym when I moved to Yuma.

They came to show us how to gym right! So many machines and room that it doesn't feel like there is alot of people. The front desk is welcoming and itching to help people. The coaches were either busy or working on schedules and work outs.

I would rate this place 0 if I could because it’s such a scam. I had to move out of town so I had to go cancel my membership. I tried canceling before moving out of town but I was told by one of the managers I could cancel through the phone. ( I don’t remember the managers name) I’m not sure why I couldn’t just cancel the day I went to the gym? I didn’t question it though and instead I just said it was fine that I would just call. I did call before the month was up and then they told me I couldn’t cancel because there was no manager in at the moment and that employees can’t cancel the membership. I understood since it’s not employees fault. I ended up paying like 60 something that first month because they charged me the annual fee. I called again before the new month came up and this time I talked to one of the managers. Her name was Sha. She said that there was no way I could cancel my membership over the phone that I had to go in person or go to the nearest gym to cancel. You could understand how frustrated I got since I’ve been paying for this membership and whenever I try to cancel there’s always a problem or there is always a but. Then she said that you have to give them a 30 day notice before canceling your membership WHICH IVE BEEN TRYING TO CANCEL SINCE OCTOBER. she said I would be charged for a new month again no matter what. My problem isn’t paying , my problem is that this could’ve been handled since the first time I tried to cancel IN PERSON. Why tell me I had to wait and do it over the phone to later tell me that I can only cancel in person. The girl I talked to was really not helpful at all and honestly only made me more frustrated because she claimed she was one of the managers yet she couldn’t do anything to help solve the problem ?? Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone!

Spaced out equipment. Clean. Many options for machines and body work. Overall nice facility. Downside is, low energy, low vibes. Feels kinda dead inside. Not motivational at all. Sauna is NEVER hot and takes about 10 minutes to begin to get hot. Mop the sauna floor and wipe down the benches…!!

I paid a visit Crunch Fitness this past Wednesday and I truly felt welcomed. I bought their Day Pass since I haven’t worked out in a gym other than planet fitness therefore I was a little nervous but Chad at the front desk made me feel right at home. Chad has a radiant smile ready to greet everyone. I asked Chad for help with locating the amenities the gym has to offer and JR mention he’d be happy to give me a tour. The tour was full of laughter and I felt at ease noticing how much space the gym has. Through out the tour I got to meet Mike, the manager, he was mopping the gym floors and making sure all the gym equipment was organized. If you’re nervous when it comes to working out- I really recommend Crunch Fitness. They really help you get to your goals.

The first three months this place was great! Employees were cleaning consistently on the floor and restrooms. But now its just average! Rarely see anyone cleaning and I have used stalls on different occasions with stains, splatter and paper on the floor. Having only one chest fly machine and no mirrors on certain areas is also not good. The stalls should also have hooks so you are not forced to leave your bag outside or inside a locker. The only reason I have not cancelled is incase the other gym gets packed with NY resolutions. Manager and staff are great but the honeymoon phase is over!

Came to this planet fitness since I was in town to see the Yuma airshow. Few things about this planet fitness that I was not expecting is the layout of the gym when you first walk in there’s a big foyer and a table for you to sit at the welcome desk is on the left-hand side where you can scan it with either a key type or a badge, usually there is somebody behind the desk. The locker rooms are very well kept there total of 2 1/2 rows of treadmills a row and a half of ellipticals a few rowing machines and then onto seated workout equipment to free weights to Smith machines to the 30 minute circuit area to the abs area to a 360 X area, there’s also a black card spa holder area so if you have a black card, there’s a special place for you to go for you to get your benefits such as: massage Chairs, tanning beds, and so much the coolers are a bit empty. The reason I gave this gym four stars is due to some of the employees. How employees interact with guests is a big portion of my review process. Learning to be open to those whom are different really does matter. Some employees greeted me with a warm and energetic welcome while others ignored me completely, as if I don’t exist Planet fitness yes you are a franchise. However, this is a judgment free zone and that’s what I expect when I come to work out. Other than that the overall experience minus some of the negative things I heard from not only employees but other planet fitness guess the equipment was in immaculate shape. There wasn’t anything broken

I used to loving going to this place until the hour change. After the gym went 24/5, I still stuck around. I do have an issue with one individual who would often close at the gym. This individual (I won’t say names) must of thought it was cute or a good idea to flicker the lights on and off when it was getting close to closing time. This wasn’t a first time instance either. The issue at hand is that most of the time they would flicker the lights, it would be a few minutes before the gym had to close. I would be on the gym equipment like the stair stepper when the lights were flickering and I was annoyed by this. I was on top of an equipment that constantly moves; one miss step and I could fall. Not being able to see where your stepping in between those 1-2 second flickers while going on a moderate speed can me an equation for a disaster. I wanted to go up and complain to the working, but my girlfriend encouraged me not to do so. So instead of being in a potentially risky gym with bad hours, we decided to take our business elsewhere. The people there are great, the hours and that one individual, not so much.

If most members are wearing their headphones so they can enjoy whatever they are listening, why is the music ALWAYS so loud coming from the Gym’s speakers? It is very annoying I have to blow up my eardrums by increasing my volume so I don’t have to hear whatever music the gym is playing on their powerful speakers. Turn it down. Members want to hear their stuff not your loud music. Have you noticed most members are wearing a headset ? There is a reason for that. Thank you. Edit: So I got a reply from (owner) telling me to speak to the staff about the loud music the gym is always playing. I would think that is management’s job to address that issue, so don’t ask me to do your job “owner”. It is just common sense. Users don’t want to hear the gym’s loud music. That is why 95% of US, the customers, wear a headset when we are there so we can enjoy OUR music, not YOURS. Thank you.
