I’ve been a member at Fitness Connection for quite some time. The facility is usually clean and although the equipment is not always well-maintained, the staff is friendly and supportive. However, I wanted to express how much Dre has contributed to my fitness journey. His energy, knowledge, and encouragement have been instrumental in keeping me motivated and pushing toward my goals. It’s disappointing that Dre is no longer at the Katy location. His presence here made a huge difference, not only for me but for so many members. I kindly request that Dre is brought back to the Katy location. He truly fosters a positive and inspiring environment, and his return would make this gym even better! There a number of new faces at this location. They don't speak when you walk in and are more concerned with their phone than the customer. Thank you for considering this feedback! Been exercising with fitness connection over the past five years at multiple locations throughout Houston and there has been no one able to consistently show up day after day on time to open up at 5am. The equipment is clean and with a wide variety to suit any fitness goal. The atmosphere is welcoming and motivating, making it easy to stay on track. Fitness Connection is a great gym that truly offers everything you could want for a great fitness experience. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a clean, well-organized facility and friendly staff who are always ready to help. Adolfo, Angie, Camila, Chris, Kazee, and Nico are truly the most helpful and supportive staff at the gym! They really work hard to keep the place running efficiently! One of the best features is the affordable membership pricing, which provides amazing value for all the amenities offered. The hours are also flexible enough for you to fit a workout in no matter the time. The gym also has great extras like saunas, outdoor turf, and a kids’ club for parents who need childcare while they work out. I’ve seen so much progress in my fitness journey since joining Fitness Connection, and I can’t recommend it enough! It’s a welcoming community that truly inspires you to meet your goals. Exercise benefits everyone and with so many fitness clubs available, there is really no excuse to not make fitness part of your weekly routine. One of the many fitness centers available nationally is Planet Fitness and the one I know best is this one, Planet Fitness Katy, located close to interstate 10. Planet Fitness Katy is clean and well maintained, offering a large amount of exercise equipment, with special machines to assist with different muscle development, cardio, etc. They have free weights, too, if that is your preference. There are so many machines that finding one available is almost certain. Besides the exercise equipment, there are massage chairs, tanning beds, and more. And if you forget to bring a beverage, there are drinks available for purchase in the front. The exercise equipment Planet Fitness Katy is top- notch and I like how the machines have a digital readout that counts your total repetitions and the time elapsed when you finish a set. This latter feature makes it easy to time a rest break, if you need one. You don’t need to pull out your phone and access the timer. The machines do this for you. The machines are safe, too, and I like the cleaning spray and paper towels that are so readily available, making it easy to disinfect your machine after use. Depending on where you are exercising, you do have the option of enjoying a little entertainment from the long row of flat screen televisions. They are visible mostly from the treadmills, bicycles, and step machines, as you would expect because these are the types of exercise equipment that people tend to spend the most time on. There is no sound, just the screens with a variety of programming. It does help the time go faster, and I like that Planet Fitness Katy offers this. Working out is important and Planet Fitness Katy is ready to help you meet your health and body improvement needs. The staff is very helpful, the membership price is low, and the facility is open around the clock. It’s a great way to get fit and a fitness center I recommend.

You walk into Planet Fitness and are greeted with a smile, instantly feeling welcome. The gym is clean, spacious, and filled with people of all fitness levels. After a quick warm-up on a treadmill, you try the easy-to-use strength machines, guided by clear instructions. Friendly staff check in, offering encouragement along the way. You finish your session with a stretch and relax in the hydromassage chair, leaving refreshed and motivated. On your way out, you grab a Tootsie Roll, already looking forward to your next visit in the Judgment Free Zone. I absolutely love my workout days💕

I had been a member of this gym for two years and I enjoyed it. They did a recent update and took away all hip abduction machines replacing them with smith machines. Because of the new renovation I cancelled my membership

Water fountain is broken every few weeks! This has been going on for well over a year if not longer. It's bad enough the gym does not replace the water fountain but then they charge you for a bottle of water when the water fountain is out of service. I will bet these gym managers are bonused off of controllable expenses and this is why the water fountain has not been replaced! Keep going through the comments & you will see similar complaints.

I have had a membership before. I was less serious about working out at the time but serious now. I like Planet Fitness because there are multiple locations near my house and throughout the country. I also like that they are affordable. Yeah, they don't have a pool or jacuzzi or sauna and such, but I can get that elsewhere. I like the budget friendly with a few perks version...and it is clean, convenient and open 24 hours.

Do your due diligence and research, but this place is safe and a good optionfor daycare. I don’t use the gym (I prefer to run), but I can drop my 8 and 10 YO off and go for a jog from the parking lot and come back and know they’re safe and have had a good time. The teachers and attendants always have activities and the space is really big and the kids can make friends while I workout.

While my initial visit presented some challenges, I appreciate the opportunity to share a balanced perspective on Villa Sport's facilities and customer service: everyone was really nice, but they didn’t seem to know the policies, which is OK, but having a placard ready would be good for all. The payment process didn’t go smoothly because I was worried about what I was paying for and the staff noticed and gave me a day pass. When I went back the next day, a different front-desk admin helped me. Definitely love this place, but I feel bad for the staff who aren’t trained.

Reasonable pricing and staff is staff. Folks need to remember that it’s a gym and turnover is high and you come to workout and relax—not get hassled. I really like coming here because it’s in-out-on-with-life. If you want one-on-one attention they have personal trainers and they’re affordable and good. This place is great IMHO

It seems there are many management issues here. The swimming pool has a lot of bugs and dirt. On Saturday evening, a staff member told me the pool closes at 8:00 PM, but on Sunday, someone else said it closes at 7:30 PM, which is different from the posted times. When I went to the shower area, I found that there were no towels at all in the designated spots. More than half of the shower controls are broken, providing either scalding hot water or cold water, with no way to adjust to a suitable temperature. The dryers are also not working. I have reported these issues to the staff before, but there has been no improvement. It's a shame that such a great location and environment are managed so poorly.

If you plan to purchase membership here, and plan to cancel it some point, they make it incredibly hard for you to cancel it or even add another person to the membership. To cancel a membership, you have to fill out a form and legitimately mail it to them and wait for 30 days for the cancellation. To add someone to the membership, they won’t help you out either. You have to log in online and add someone by yourself. Basically once they get you in the system, you’re on your own to do anything. I have never been to a gym that provides such horrible and unethical customer service. LA, 24h, lifetime, Houstonian are all better. And check your bill statements, because they do raise price periodically on existing customers.

I moved over an hour away, as well as had surgery, and they refused to cancel my membership. There are not many Anytime Fitness locations even in my new area. I was told I need to cancel in person and make the long distance trip. Not even an option to cancel via MAIL or anything was presented to me. Precious time has been wasted, and my membership is still ongoing. It’s all part of the plan. They have limited staffed hours with staff present at their location to cancel the membership. How does this work for people that have jobs throughout the week? Terrible. I have given this company hundreds and hundreds of dollars over the last few years and I can’t even get help with my membership being canceled.

Been going to AF on and off for a while now and all of his locations are always well taken care of! The equipment is always clean and staff really care about the members here. Will always be a fan of AF!

Super clean establishment. Love the privacy aspect as it’s a much more intimate space than your usual fitness center. They no longer accept class pass, but they do offer a free day trial to try out their facilities.

I’ve been to a few different AF locations in the last years due to a couple of relocations and this one in Katy is by far my favorite. It’s super clean, the equipment is maintained well and the staff is nice and friendly. Everybody is busy working out and even when more people are present it’s never overcrowded despite being on the smaller side. The trainers are wonderful, they work hard and truly care. I can’t say enough good things about this gym!

I've been to about 50 anytime fitness locations as I've traveled across the country and this one is definitely top 5. Extremely clean and organized, they clearly care about the equipment and their members and guests. Not the biggest location, but has everything I've ever used and nothing is falling apart or clunky. The shower rooms (1 each for men/women) are clean and stocked with anything you could need. I'm just passing through, but 10/10 would recommend and will be back if I'm around the area

Outdoor pool is my favorite! they have underwater robot cleaner that cleans the bottom and I often see their staff cleaning the fallen leaves which I love about autumn, but not in the water. Equipments are new and up to date. Towels are sometimes folded into elephants and pup, little touch like that often makes my day. However, yoga rooms can use some air circulation before and after the previous class. Anytime I step in the women’s shower and locker room is always organized & clean, the cleaning lady is awesome! Probably the reason why I enjoy this location than Sugar land, never too overly crowded. InBody machine has a printer so you can be old fashioned and keep a paper copy to compare your rates! Oh and did I mention, their açaí bowl, is amazing! Perfect snack or a meal after training.

I am beyond frustrated with the lack of security at this gym. It doesn’t matter the time of day—cars are constantly getting broken into, and clearly, nothing is being done about it. This is now the second time in just six months that my truck has been broken into while parked here. It’s clear that the management does not take the safety and security of its members seriously. If they cared, there would be proper surveillance, security patrols, or at the very least some visible deterrents to prevent this from happening over and over again. Instead, we’re left vulnerable every time we show up. I’m officially done with this place. I will be canceling my membership and taking my business somewhere that actually prioritizes the safety of its members. If you value your property or your peace of mind, do yourself a favor and avoid this gym at all costs.

25 years ago I was a member, and the club is still just as nice! It's a country club atmosphere, with a great gym. The lockers are nice, big changing rooms, towels, etc... they have a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The weight rooms have everything, with enough for groups. There are lots of classes available as well. You could spend a while day there.

I went in today and although there was some minor issues with setting up my membership, Jordan, Maria & Carmen helped me through the whole process and made it easy and painless. They all have excellent customer service and are very friendly! I recommend this location to anybody needing a new gym or place to workout at.

I got to come here for the first time as my friend invited me here for pickle ball! I’ve never played pickle ball neither but I had a really fun and nice time there! The facility is nice and big and have many awesome amenities like swimming pools, gyms, work out/stretching space, rock climbing, basketball and pickle ball space! So much varieties and probably I didn’t mention everything anyways 😅 There’s a nice little cafe in the facility so you can grab something if you are hungry! I’d love to visit again! Come for those who are able 😆 Cheers 🥂
