Best Gyms with Free Wi Fi near Dedham, Massachusetts

I really like this place. It's not a shiny modern chain gym but more of a quirky local business with a lot of things to offer (tennis, pool, cardio, strength, sauna etc). Fitness is not crowded at all and all equipment is well maintained. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and chill. No corporate BS here. What more could you ask for.

We love the swimming program for children, here! The water is warm and so is the entire pool area. The instructors are kind and funny. Parents can observe in the pool area or in a separate room outside. The showers are not crowded. There is plenty of parking and the reception is well staffed and organized. Our kids want to come to their lessons and they made a lot of progress! We moved them from a different program at a different pool and we are so glad we did. They used to fight us and refuse to go to swim class because instructors were strict and the water was cold. But at the Dedham Health and Athletic Complex Center our kids have everything they need to feel confident and comfortable. Thanks a lot!!!

After being loyal members of DHAC for several years, my husband and I cancelled our membership because of extremely disrespectful behavior by the senior trainer towards my husband. The day after the 2024 election this man verbally attacked him, without provocation, for what he assumed were his political views. We were shocked by this total lack of professionalism on the part of a staff member toward whom we had always shown respect. We then joined the local YMCA and were pleased to find an excellent facility at half the price!

I wish the tennis coordinator responds to emails !! Nobody can see him, we can only email him and he will never respond to queries. Well if he’s that busy we can respect his schedule but have someone else responding to emails. This is disrespectful to people, parents who want to join tennis lessons.

DHAC is a place dreams come true physically. I have been a member since the 1980's, and the owner's have worked tirelessly to improve on what has already been provide to their clients. The exercise room notably has the latest equipment and weights, and also includes a caring staff that is trained to assisti in weight loss, cardio, and strengthening training as well. I have utilized the in house salon for several social occasions that I was attending to look my vey best. After a fracture and ligament. damage, my Primary Care doctor, prescribed physical therapy in the adult pool for several months. This therapy was highly effective and I made a full recovery. There are oher clubs in the vicinity that offer.as much as DHAC but I didn't feel the tenderness and care that I have received at my own club of 40 plus years. I encourage you to come and share with me in this wonderful uplifting place.

I love how this facility is accessible everything is on one level. Someone like me with physical challenges it was super important to find a gym that has all of their equipment in one level. They even have an accessible shower with a shower Chair. I'll definitely recommend this Gym for anyone who's looking for an accessible gym! PS: They have 2 handicap spot right in front of the gym; however I wished they had 2 handicap parking signs in front of them. Unfortunately, they only have 1 Blue sign & people who are able bodies always parked in the other spot without the blue handicap marker sign. I complained to the Manager about it and they said that they would looking into it. But, it has been a year since I raised my concern about it and nothing has been done to resolve it.

Hadn't gone to the gym in over 6 months since I couldn't find time & when I finally made it in there, since you have to go in person to cancel, the manager informed me that they were still going to charge me an additional month since I didn't cancel within 7 days of my billing date. Ridiculous but not going to make a huge issue over $10. The gym itself is typical of a PF. Don't expect any employees to show genuine interest in helping you achieve fitness goals and one absolute DISGUSTING issue I've witnessed here on every occasion is people getting off machines & not wiping them off. Staff does nothing about it. I recommend that you ALWAYS wipe a machine off BEFORE you use it.

The Dedham, MA staff is very professional. The gym layout is perfect. Could use another fly machine though. Most popular machine in the building. :) Staff is very helpful and always greets me. Locker room is always clean and maintained. Plenty of parking on site.

Dedham site is clean and machines look newer. Never packed because it’s so big inside. Massage chairs are awesome.

Planet Fitness membership is a trap and scam with terrible customer support. They sign up young people to join a gym at $10 a month, plus an additional $40 dollar annual charge, and then they only let you cancel by showing up in person. So if you move, or don't have access to car, you can't call or cancel in person at your local Planet Fitness. Then even if you don't come to the gym for 4 years, not only will they continue to charge $10/month plus an additional $40 annual fee... They won't even refund the current month. My son had to pay $49 to cancel his membership. When asked if Planet Fitness Dedham, MA would just cancel the membership without the annual charge for next year, on my son's account that hasn't been used for years, the manager, Kevin Bruno, explained, that even though this is a separate franchise, they couldn't make any concessions, despite a situation of financial hardship. He literally said: "Consider this a good thing, this is a life lesson to read all the terms and conditions before signing a contract." Please join another gym or fitness club, one that cares about it's members and has policies that allow managers to provide customer support, not this greedy corporation that scams its members into endless charges and fees until you show up in person only to be forced to pay more charges and fees just to cancel your membership!
