Staff very friendly, polite, and respectful the gym is very clean. Equipment is very clean hours of operation are very flexible. There is a wide variety equipment to meet everyone’s need. There is the availability of staff to answer all questions or assist you with equipment that you have questions about to assure you are using it correctly.

I love this gym! It's budget-friendly, clean, and has the basic equipment you'd need as a beginner/intermediate gym-goer! The staff have all been friendly and the patrons are respectful. For the sake of critique it can definitely get crowded after 3pm (school kids) and especially between 5-9pm (adults getting off work).

I’m definitely not a person to leave bad reviews but what has occurred is honestly disappointing, pay so much money for this to happen to me. They are breaking all the lockers locks and stealing all your personal belongings. I had a chat with the manger and employees, nothing ever got back to be or resolved. I definitely don’t recommend.

The men's showers are nasty, during days straight, and apparently no one cares. I talked kindly as possible with one employee and just told me, " Yes, you're not the only one who can smell it. It's like the third person who says that". Come on, please. I don't like talking badly, but no one is taking care. I believe so what's the matter?

Everything is great but one big thing they closed the lounge room you can't sit and relax before or after a workout you need to sit in the locker room it's really a bummer there's no where to chill anymore. 😞 But overall great service outstanding employees, clean great amenities nice gym

I love this branch of the Y. The pool is one of the best I’ve visited - really well maintained with friendly guards (and a sauna!!) The studios are clean and bright with enough space for everyone. Erika’s yoga classes and Alicia’s Zumba classes are my absolute favorites - all of the instructors I have met are extremely kind, patient, creative, and encouraging. The support and love from other members is really special and keeps me coming back (even at 7am before work!). Thanks for providing this service and space for us.

Unfortunately this place has declined a lot. There use to be nice staff there but now most of the staff is rude, mean, and unhelpful. The front desk is absolutely dreadful, children run freely, young people smoke in the front of the building and Kidzone is ran by a bunch of staff who are glued to their phones and don’t want to interact with the children. Don’t trust these people with your kids…they don’t even want to pick up a baby!

This place was awesome! The staff was really sweet and charming, climbing was good, and despite the fact there were a lot of people there, I didn't feel like I couldn't get on anything or there were significant slowdowns. Really good climbing gym culture. Be aware that you need to pass an auto belay quiz to climb, or take a belaying test. You can't test the day of unless you come hot and ready, but there's also plenty of bouldering upstairs you can do if you are a first-timer and don't remember the belaying steps.

Honestly half of the reason I got my membership was to attend Caroline’s yoga class, she is AMAZING! love the climbing and the people are always friendly. Only knocking down one star because they need more - and experienced - route setters. Complex routes tend to be inaccessible for short climbers. The grading - at least in the top rope area - is very inconsistent so I just climb what seems fun. However, the climbing community is pretty inclusive and awesome and this location is easy to get to so I highly recommend!

This is a great climbing gym in the city. Finding parking can feel very taxing however once you do, you will be all set for some great fun. It’s a clean gym with many challenges available. The walls do become very packed with people, you will find yourself waiting on the next route from time to time. With that said it’s still definitely worth the visit. There is a large area upstairs for bouldering and slack line walking which is a lot of fun. Great vibe here.

I love and appreciate the location of this gym. Due to the prime location, I think it’d be best to extend Friday and Saturday gym hours to 11pm. Also, I visited this location today and was told that the smoothie bar was closed at 12pm, I arrived after 12pm. This is a peculiar practice to have when there is no communication within the app or at this location stating this. While I will continue to use this location. There are opportunities for continuous improvement. Especially for the cost. It should be more convenient.

The gym is very hygienic and pretty and the attention of its employees is very good, but for the price they ask for monthly for the subscription, they should at least have their own parking lot. I have had to go home on more than one occasion, without being able to access the gym, because I have not found parking.

I LOVE the culture of respect at EEG! Donnie, the owner, made me feel so safe and welcomed during my consultation and was so accommodating (I had my 5 year old son with me) He quickly and efficiently explained the gym rules and gave me a tour after which I signed up immediately. The culture of respect and care for community is what made me fall in love. Unlike so many other gyms, there is never a shortage of equipment or disorganization. The gym (including bathrooms) is always SPOTLESS! I love my EEG community and so thankful to Donnie for creating such a welcoming and safe environment.

A Super convenient & clean gym ! As a female in the fitness community for the past 5 years coming from the popular fusion gyms. Earn everything gym has all the equipment needed to achieve your fitness goals, I feel safe and comfortable at the gym due to their safety policies which I love, I can go at anytime and safety is not a concern. I also appreciate that I don’t have to encounter people with pajamas, crocs or no shoes which something that we see at these other gyms. Donnie is friendly and understanding as well he will even accommodate us moms in cases when we don’t have a sitter, something not every gym offers therefore we also have to be considerate and follow rules. Overall I’m content and always looking forward to each of my workouts!

My daughter and I have been attending Earn Everything Gym since August. This Gym is spectacular clean and always well organized. You never have to search for attachments to use equipment. The women's bathroom meticulously clean. The members that I see there are respectful and speak nicely to me in positive greetings. Great atmosphere to workout in!

I met Donnie thru my son who also works out at EEG. He was very professional, showed me all the equipment, state of the art may I add, and VERY CLEAN!!! He explained all the rules which I could appreciate because as a woman, I want to feel safe at the gym, want to workout in a sanitized gym, and feel comfortable with a community that shares my same values. Safety, cleanliness, and respect are key factors to the owner and the reason I joined. The equipment is very well maintained and there’s a machine and weights for every body part you want to train, even a hip thrust machine that I’ve never seen in local gyms. There’s even plenty of space to do full body stretch before starting my workout that I can comfortably do without feeling weird out or stared at by other strangers due to a crowded gym; I like to go to the gym really early to get my day started after a fruitful workout. Membership is well worth it!!

It’s gotta be the best gym in Philly and I don’t think it’s really even close. The owner Donnie is the man. And when he says “members only”, it truly means members only. I’ve been a member for the past three weeks and I couldn’t be happier. It’s extremely clean and organized. If you’re a serious gym goer and want a safe, clean, organized place to workout without any of the extra crap that comes with a commercial gym, this is for you. Can’t beat it for $50 a month. Highly recommended!

Great gym, although the entrance is kinda weird. Not bad, but you have to walk all the way around the building just to get in, because there's a fence around the parking lot. Again, great gym, I like it, very mature group of people who train and work there.

A good gym, plenty of space, plenty of parking, a wide range of equipment, and an unmatched price. While every gym can always be bigger and have more equipment, there really is no better value for the money in this area of the city.

Personally not a fan of Planet Fitness's concept of a judgement zone when they judge people. However, this Planet Fitness has made an impression on me. First, the customer service team were very polite and helpful. Customer service members help with questions, re-racking equipment, and getting promotions. Secondly, the multitude and variety of equipment made it smooth to workout. Besides peak hours there's very minimal wait time for equipment. Thirdly, excluding the bathroom the gym was clean. Planet Fitness staff does a great job enforcing cleaning equipment policy. Lastly, the parking lot is a nice size but the lines aren't as visible and there are a lot of pot holes.

This location is by far my favorite. The staff are very friendly and keep the gym tidy. It's rare to find someone filming themselves or taking a photo of themselves (at night time); which makes it more comfortable to workout. There are more machines for weights than I have seen at other locations. The price is very reasonable. 11/10 would recommend.

I am appreciative of any gym that allows non members to drop in. It’s a $20 fee for out of town guests. The gym has everything you need and then some. There are specialty barbells, platforms, weight racks, and cardio machines. They also had Peloton bikes, which you don’t often find in gyms. I loved the aesthetic and layout. They definitely could use more squat racks/platforms though. I was there for 2 hours and throughout that time, there was never not a wait for the racks. Other than that, nice gym!

I just moved to Philly from D.C. and couldn’t have felt more welcome by the staff at City Fitness Fishtown! Josh was amazing and offered a tour of the facilities, which are spacious, clean and well-equipped. Eric at Thrive also was amazing during my first training session.

I’ve been coming here since they first open and I wasn’t a member. My trainer was a member and I would come with him and he trained me and What I liked about the gym that it wasn’t too big but it wasn’t too small and I like the fact that everybody focused on working out, is really not too much socializing and just hanging out with people are actually working out and doing workouts And I never Never had a problem there. Everyone’s respectful and friendly everyone keeps themselves they might bring a gym buddy with them, but everyone usually comes by the self and work out. I was part of the strive training group for about three months, which well I felt I can do everything on my own. Sabrina was my trainer And she was excellent. I did get a chance to work with other trainers there, and they were great too. The trainers are committed and dedicated to their clients. Health is wealth. Stop by and ask for Jack..

I joined City Fitness six years ago and fell in love with the spin classes. During the pandemic, two out of three of my favorite spin instructors left. Still, nothing could stop me from lip syncing to Sam's playlist during a power cycling class or so I thought. After sustaining a knee injury on a run, I decided to try Thrive to strengthen my body. I signed up to do the group personal training sessions twice per week. I didn't want to work out two days in a row, so I scheduled my classes for Wednesay and Friday mornings. The instructor I worked with cancelled three Wednesday sessions in a row and requested I move my sessions to Thursday. Members have to cancel within 12 hours of their scheduled sessions. This instructor cancelled on me with less than two hours notice each time. The last time he cancelled, he sent me a text at 5:23am on a Wednesday morning (37 minutes before my session was scheduled), saying see you tomorrow. When I talked to his manager, Patrick, he communicated I signed a contract, and he couldn't do anything about that, but he would talk to the instructor. He never referred me to his manager. It wasn't until I messaged billing that the head of Thrive (not Patrick) contacted me. I was disappointed with the way the situation was handled and ended my relationship with City Fitness. There are better and more affordable gyms in the area where the trainers show up on time and not hung over.

I did the Thrive class on Tuesday with Will. He put me at ease and listened to my health issues he catered the workout to my abilities and challenged me as we went. He was very congenial and knowledgable explaining what effected what and when we went over my in body scan, he broke down target areas and spoke with me about what's next. He very much gave the sense this wasn't a transaction and that we were building a relationship.

Horrible place! They don’t care about your kids! No one is ever paying attention so no one ever has any answers for you. The very first day of camp, I picked my daughter up at 4pm only to greet her barefoot. I was told she was walking around with no shoes on since “they went to the pool”. I asked “well what time did they go to the pool?” Their answer “12pm” so basically my child was walking around a building barefoot for 3 hours. My last straw was when I picked my daughter up and she had a ton of dirt in her hair. No one told me or knew anything. When I asked what happened they claimed a staff member questioned my child about the dirt in her hair. LIES! More importantly, why wasn’t I informed when I came to pick her up?! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE! THEY ARE OBLIVIOUS, NEGLIGENT AND DONT CARE ABOUT THE CHILDREN! Everyone here just wants to do their 8 hours and collect their check. After conversing with other parents I was told their son’s arm was broken while attending this facility as well as her other child needing emergency surgery because “she ran into a tree” (that’s what they reported to the parent) and her entire mouth was split open and the top row of her teeth, loose. From “running into a tree”? More importantly she was NOT notified until she arrived for pick ups as well. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING! They need to be investigated!

I never liked gyms until I tried my local Roxborough Planet Fitness. Great welcoming atmosphere for everyone of all ages and abilities. I'm in a wheelchair and the trainers, who are free, give one on one attention. They help me get on and off the leg machines allowing me to stay independent. I love seeing my neighbors. It took me years to decide to walk into a CrossFit gym. You hear all kinds of stories about CrossFit some positive some negative. I finally decided to make the jump and scheduled a meeting with the owner, Micah. Micah right away came across as super friendly and super proud of the gym he built. I decided to do a drop in class and instantly liked it. The people are friendly, welcoming, and the classes are pretty intense in a good way. It’s only been a week but I’m definitely very happy having Requisite Fitness as my first CrossFit gym and hopefully my last.

I had been doing CrossFit for about 5 years before I joined this gym 3 years ago. My previous gym has closed due to COVID and I was nervous about finding a new gym because I enjoyed the previous gyms coaches and programming. After I joined Requisite Fitness, I realized the coaches were amazing and thoroughly taught their athletes about the movements as well as the workouts. The programming also is geared towards people of all levels, ranging from people who have never worked out before to athletes who had been doing this for a long time. I noticed quickly how much I improved within the 3 years I have joined this gym, and I feel that I am in the best shape I have ever been in. As a plus, the community is great & supportive which makes it an even better place to be
