Gold’s Gym in Kirkland offers a decent selection of equipment and has friendly staff, but it falls short in maintenance. The gym has several machines with torn leather and seats, and some equipment is frequently out of order. Unfortunately, the showers are particularly disappointing, with rusty shower heads that deter many from using them. Overall, while the gym has potential, it needs significant improvements to provide a better experience for its members. I would rate it two stars due to these issues

This is the best gym that I’ve known in many years going to others in SF and Seattle. Equipment is great and brand new, free weights are solid and nice. The gym is overall a first-class gym and the staff is even better, super friendly staff, no attitude, Nate and his team are rockstars and make this gym a fun and successful one. Way to go guys!

My wife had an uncomfortable encounter with another member, who spoke to her in an aggressive manner, making her feel unsafe. Despite reporting this to the gym, they decided not to take action against the member and only sent staff for retraining. When we tried to cancel our annual contract due to this situation, we were denied the option. We are disappointed to feel stuck in a contract with a gym that doesn’t prioritize our safety. Would not recommend this location.

The facility is generally well-maintained, and is always very clean. The recent facelift is also nice. Only complaints are that it sometimes takes a long time to fix equipment in need of repair, and the staff often have the music cranked so loud that you can't listen to your own stuff, even with high-end noise cancelling ear buds.

I don't like to write negative reviews but someone has to say it, the music is too loud and the owners don't seem to care. When you stand next to someone at the gym you cannot have a conversation because the music is too loud that should say enough. Most of us have complained to the front desk and in our customer reviews which seems to go nowhere. I guess that goes to show how much the management cares about its customers.

Nice, low-pressure gym where a person can perform at their own pace. Equipment is not perfect, but generally good. Facility is clean and organized. I like being able to go in, do 45 minutes, and be on my way. No hassles. And you can use your membership at any Anytime Fitness worldwide. I've already taken advantage of this benefit.

Love this place. Clean, functional equipment, super friendly vibe. "Anytime" is really anytime - they get organized to keep the shop running even during power outages. They know their customers by name (special shout-out to Logen) and make you feel welcome.

This anytime fitness is dope! Especially how quiet and low pressure it is, the equipment is always available and everyone is polite. Especially Logen, who welcomes members into the gym and checks in with them to see how their day is going; he helps contribute to an already great environment to workout. Would reccomend!

Awesome gym with a great set of barbells. Equipment is clearly well maintained. The Anytime Fitness membership comes with a ton of benefits especially for a frequent out of state traveler like myself. Highly recommended!

former longtime member. by the time we left, we were paying $230 a month for our family. this is outrageously expensive. the equipment is adequate, the space is a little small; this is basically a glorified YMCA. now we're going to LA fitness which offers similar experience for 4x less cost. over the years, they keep increasing the price, but our experience got worse. try to find parking or even a locker during busy times. the locker rooms are messy and crowded and dirty. they can't keep the moisturizer bottles full. what used to make it worth it -- the pool and sauna -- i can't access anymore because the swim lanes are full and so is the sauna bench. the staff are generally okay, but the woman at the front desk - Jody -- is quite unpleasant and needs to go. actually, unpleasant isn't the right word - she's just a downright nasty person and i don't understand why the gym continues to employ her. but read the other reviews -- sounds like management regularly keeps on bad employees

Great facility with lots of amenities and very clean, but not a weight lifter's gym. Also, very expensive at $240 a month for two of us, and that's with a corporate discount. I will say that my husband and I love the convenience and closeness of this facility to our home. The staff are all really nice and friendly. Great indoor saltwater pool and newly renovated steam room, sauna and hot tub in the adult only area. The one drawback to this gym is the limited amount of weight equipment. There is only one hamstring machine, for example. At least it's all new equipment and as far as machines go, they are great. But if you want a good selection of weight lifting equipment, Gold's or even Planet fitness are better I would love to see the rooms that are almost never used, like the TRX and "pilates" room used for more weight equipment. There isn't much else they can do to remedy it because they already have as much equipment crammed in as they can, other than repurpose those other fairly unused rooms. For most people, the equipment will suffice, but if you are looking for a large weight room, this is not your best choice.

My girlfriend (who is no longer a trainer there) and I were harassed by a member of the training staff. This gentleman acted as I'd he owned the impact studio portion of the gym. This harassment continued for months where as a member of the club, my son and I didn't feel safe there. I have never been treated like this ever. The manager; Cody, took no action and tried to make it out to be our fault. This is an old boys club, beware!

We have been long time members of the club, however, we just recently had an experience with one of the swim instructors who was verbally abusive towards our young child during her swim lessons in the pool, which resulted in us making the decision to terminate our membership. The management did nothing about this, they actually defended this instructor because they have been there for years.

This club is awful. They have a bully trainer by the name of Bruce who yelled at my kid because I guess he thought he owned the impact studio. My son feared him, and he menacingly glared at me every time I came there. My girlfriend quit because he threatened her to her face and said that I shouldn't come there on Thursdays when he works. This is something out of a Hollywood movie. The manager Cody protects him because he is a top trainer there. I have never seen a more sophomoric place. Beware of this place!!
