I wish I could say something positive about this gym, unfortunately I’ve never been able to lift here. For being in such a high traffic area like Robinson this gym is FAR too small. They have one bench, one smith, only 2-3 spare inclines and no matter what time you go you can expect to never get the machine you want without a wait. I’d go to another anytime location

No one answers the phone at this place. Came back the last two Saturdays and no one is working. Was outside with two other people so they are losing potential business. Not a good look for the gym. Change your hours on the door and website.

Very excellent location but the machines need to be up to date. They’re old and unsafe to utilize

This place is FAR from clean! It used to be spotless, but has gone downhill in the past 18 months. The toilets are typically dirty (they apparently don't know what the toilet brush is for). The activity room floor hasn't been cleaned in months (clumps of hair and dust all along the walls) and worse is the cleanliness of the machines. I go to AF clubs all over world and I see how they are cleaned every hour or 2. Here, the treadmills and windows next to them are covered in dry sweat and dust. I just watched a guy run for 30 min, sweat like crazy all over the treadmill and machine next to it and then barely wipe it down - totally disgusting). For the most part, the workers here either run training sessions or sit in the offices doing nothing. The owners of this place need to motivate them to come out and clean or spend some money for a professional cleaning service. My final comment is the length of time broken machines sit broken (typically months!?). I have no idea why but I really wonder where my $400+ per year membership fee (plus a laughable $15 per year "facility improvement fee" goes)?! I am regretting renewing my membership here.

This was my first ever Pilates class. I must admit I was nervous . At my 5am session I was warmly welcomed by coach Nick , his energy and vibe throughout the whole workout was incredible! It was such a great experience from the instructor Nick to the people attending! The atmosphere was so encouraging & veteran classmates accepted me and cheered as I completed my first class. It’s not easy , I’m an ex track athlete but I felt muscles engaged that maybe I haven’t used in a while. I’m so glad I went to experience this and I will return , highly recommend! Also a spotless facility which was comforting.

Did my first ever solidcore class with Nick. It was such a good workout and his motivation is not annoying, but actually motivating and really gets the best out of you. He also is great with his queuing and his understanding of his anatomy. Highly recommend! Thanks Nick - Nel & Noah

If you like aggressively loud music, an instructor that never stops yelling commands at you over said loud music, to the point where most are confused about what they should be doing in any moment, this class format is for you. Ps. There’s no single class for free to try and they will not refund your $80 trial two weeks regardless even if you hated the class.

I’ve ran marathons, worked with personal trainers, climbed mountains and served in the Marines. This workout is still the hardest 50 mins of my life. Granted I’m much older now but nothing I’ve done compares mentally or physically. The instructors are all amazing and helpful. If your new and unsure I highly recommend attending a class with Mathew the studio manager or Maddie. His positivity and motivation make you feel right at home. I’ve been a solid core member for a little over a year. It’s worth every penny and I love it.

Fantastic workout but definitely not for everyone. If you are ready for an intense full body workout that tones your body unlike any workout that i have done before, Solidcore is your workout. But be prepared to fail, because that is part of the process. The first class can be disorienting but you gradually learn the process. The workouts never get easier but your confidence and mental and physical fortitude get stronger.

I absolutely love The Om Lounge! They provide complimentary water and tea, which is a nice touch before or after a relaxing session. The waiting room is stunning—beautifully designed and filled with sunlight, making it a perfect place to unwind before class. They also have a great sales rack with a variety of yoga gear and apparel, and if you ever forget your own equipment, they have mats and blocks available to borrow. The instructors here are truly amazing—knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about yoga. If you’re looking for a welcoming and serene place to practice yoga, The Om Lounge is the perfect spot!

I have been an on and off patron for many years. I have always loved this studio. However today I had a very bad experience with the owner Patti. I misread the schedule so I showed up for a community yoga class when there was not one scheduled. I must have walked in on a private teacher training by mistake. The owner came out and said “are you supposed to be here?”. I said I am sorry I must have missed the schedule. She replied the community yoga says TBA on the website. Honestly she was borerline hostile. I felt totally ashamed for making a mistake. I will absolutely never visit this studio again! Patti you really need to treat your customers with more respect and decency.

Om Lounge is exactly what Pittsburgh needed!! Unique, challenging and fun flows without excessive heat! They have assembled a killer group of instructors who are passionate about yoga and go the extra mile to ensure the classes honor the spirituality of the practice while still being physically challenging. It’s the perfect balance of everything a yoga studio should be. Oh, and great music too! I cannot recommend this studio highly enough!

This studio is wonderful. There are so many great teachers and a variety of classes available – I’ve been going to Om for a few months and I am still finding new teachers, learning new poses and postures, and enjoying every minute of it. This is what yoga is all about. I’ve tried a few other Pittsburgh studios before finding Om and everything about this place is such a breath of fresh air. They offer a lot of classes throughout the week – something for everyone - and offer special workshops on occasion. The space is clean, cozy, and radiates positive energy. This studio definitely feeds my soul and kick my butt every time.

Easily our favorite gym that we've been members of. Plenty of high quality equipment, including more specialized items like a reverse hyper. Owners are amazing folks with so much experience that they are always happy to share. We feel very comfortable in the space and find it to be a respectful atmosphere. Great for serious lifters but also those of us who love lifting but are a little less serious about it.

I've been going to Celli's Fitness for a few months now, and it’s easily the best gym experience I’ve had. The atmosphere and culture are incredible; everyone here is supportive, and the community vibe makes each visit something I genuinely look forward to. I recently took a squat masterclass with Ryan Celli himself, and I can't recommend it enough! Ryan’s expertise and mental cues helped me finally get comfortable with this dynamic movement, and my confidence has skyrocketed. Whether you’re new to lifting or an experienced athlete, you’ll get next-level coaching here. If you're looking for a gym that feels like home and actually helps you progress, Celli's Fitness is it. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Cellis Fitness! It’s such a fantastic, family-owned gym that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Ryan and Dana, the owners, are genuinely friendly, down-to-earth people who clearly care about their members and have created a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. The gym is always clean and well-maintained, with plenty of equipment, so you never have to wait around. The other members are friendly too, and it feels like a true fitness community here. I couldn’t recommend Cellis Fitness more—if you’re looking for a quality gym that treats you like family, this is the place!

I don't know that there could be any place better. I trained with Ryan on the big three compound lifts and it was the best experience I could've ever hoped for. Ryan really takes the time to break things down and explain why you're doing something or why he's changing something without making anything overly complicated. My form, knowledge, and confidence have all improved greatly since working with Ryan. The facility itself is immaculate and well maintained. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Celli's!

A great bouldering gym. The place was clean, the routes were fun and diverse, the staff were friendly and personable, and the gear I rented was in great shape. Partner and I both got memberships a few weeks ago and have been loving it here! Not sure how long this promotion lasts but since we signed up as a pair the initiation fee was waved. It’s very community based and less competitive than other gyms we have been to. It’s not just the staff that’s friendly and approachable but the other members as well! I think that all the different events/classes (both climbing based or non-climbing based) definitely add to this environment and we filled up our calendar with all the different things to do this month. It’s usually not overly crowded but even with league nights it’s not overwhelming and still really easy to hop on the wall! Route setters seem fond of crimps so my finger strength will definitely be improving quickly! Over all - great location, parking validation, free chalk dispensers, great community and staff, welcome environment for all🤠

I was in town for work and had some free time, so I decided to checkout FA Climbing, and I was SO impressed! There was a huge variety of routes ranging from beginner to advanced. I particularly enjoyed the arch in the back of the gym! In addition to a massive climbing area, there was a fitness and training room, gear shop, and yoga studio. Super thankful I was able to stop in for a couple of hours during my visit to the city!

I would like to share my opinion about this sports club. I have been involved in sports for over eight years and have had the chance to train at various fitness centers across different countries, so I have a solid basis for comparison. This gym is outstanding in every way. The cleanliness is impeccable, not only in the workout area but throughout the entire facility. The equipment is always in excellent working condition, and the variety of machines caters to all fitness levels and training needs. The staff deserves special praise for their professionalism and attentiveness. They respond quickly and courteously to any questions or concerns, making every visit smooth and enjoyable. What truly sets this club apart is the welcoming atmosphere it creates. It’s clear that the management prioritizes customer satisfaction, which fosters a sense of community among members. If you’re looking for a gym that combines top-tier facilities, exceptional service, and a positive vibe, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

This is such a nice Anytime Fitness. Having gone to others in the area and to other states, this is by far one of the best. I like how distinct the sections are of the gym, and I love the separate room with wood floors off to the side. Always clean, stays updated, and the gym manager is very nice. I knew the second I walked into the AF Southside location this was my place. I was immediately welcomed by the manager Danielle. The energy of the club alone had me sold, but Danielle solidified my choice to join. She took the time to under me first and then the goal became very clear. She’s absolutely amazing. Thank you to Kylie for the consultation and being open with me and hearing me out. I look forward to completing my task with your guidance. Last but not least…This gym is spotless! The young lady who is there when I go is so meticulous about keeping the gym clean. I almost fell off the treadmill watching her because I was so impressed lol.

Leaving a post-member review: I feel that the value of Pittsburgh Fits workout program and coaches really becomes apparent when you’re able to join other studios, maybe name brand or otherwise. Though I’m not saying other places are poor workouts, Pittsburgh Fit differentiates itself by having professionals who are personally dedicated to you even without having personal workout sessions. The exercises they do for their classes change out frequently, but for them that’s SUCH a good thing: it always feels like they’re giving the most clearcut path to working out the muscle groups they’re targeting for that class. Though I’m a member no longer because of no longer being in the area, and having not left a review prior, it’s only fair to give credit where it’s due. I hope I can make it back to the area soon just so I can pop back in for a session or two! -Josh M

I just recently became a member at FIT but I've had an overall very positive experience so far! I love the friendly environment and how accessible it's been. My personal trainer, Ivan, is AMAZING and has been super understanding about meeting me where I'm at with my fitness level. I also love the classes run by Amanda. The membership is fairly pricey, especially with the personal training, but definitely worth it for how much I've gotten out of it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a friendly and welcoming workout environment! ✨

My boyfriend and I took a class here through ClassPass and it was our first Solidcore workout. 10/10 the instructor was great and the workout was hard. I really like taking exercise classes but this is my favorite because it’s unique. Even though I hadn’t ever used a reformer (or like-machine) before, the instructor was helpful with technique and spring strength. I’ll definitely go again when I’m in Pittsburgh.

I absolutely love Solidcore! The instructors are incredible - they're motivating, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable. I'm always impressed by how they learn and remember everyone's names, which makes the classes feel so much more personal. Beyond the amazing instructors, the workouts themselves are incredibly effective. I've been dealing with jumper's knee for a while, and Solidcore has been a game-changer in helping me strengthen the muscles around my knee and improve my overall stability. Additionally, I've noticed a significant improvement in my back pain since I started strengthening my core with these challenging yet rewarding classes. Thank you, Solidcore, for creating such an amazing fitness experience!

I was SUPER intimidated to try solidcore, as I am pretty out of shape, but I'm so glad I did! The instructors are all incredibly approachable, welcoming, and the perfect level of motivation and energy. Core work has always been my downfall, but even after just a handful of classes, I already feel so much stronger. The classes are incredibly challenging in the best way, and they're low impact, which is a perfect combination. I'm currently booking through class pass since my schedule doesn't allow me to do too many classes per month, and I'm using all my credits here. Can't say enough good things--book it now!

Just moved to Pittsburgh and previously worked at a local gym in Austin TX in management, so finding a gym with good equipment and not corporate is very important to me. Tried Etage out today and it was great. Locker rooms are nice and clean! Lots of different machines to utilize. They pretty much had it all. Reasonable priced for what they offer and location. Definitely interested in joining. Eric assisted me with all my questions and was really friendly. Overall great gym and I look forward to going back. Lots of space to workout too!

If you are looking for a very clean, fully equipped, and reasonably priced athletic facility in Downtown Pittsburgh, ETAGE is an excellent choice. The multi level gym is equipped for just about any work out routine. They have newer cardio machines, weight training, Spin and Yoga. Whatever you may be working on, my guess is they have it. The staff is pretty helpful with any questions you may have. Also, they even have nice post workout lounge area and some aqua loungers to loosen up after. Having their own garage with validated parking is a must for downtown as well. Check them out!

Pittsburgh’s best gym! From front door to top floor, this is what a gym is supposed to be. The front desk staff, Ashton and Trace, were very welcoming and professional as they helped us get started. The equipment is well-designed, clean, and well-maintained. The other gym members are respectful and put things back where they belong. For the Instagrammers out there, the lighting here and the rooftop views can’t be beat. Can’t wait to continue training here.

Great gym in downtown. It’s not very crowded and it has all equipments you need. Staff here is friendly. They also offer 3 hour validate parking, which is the best. Highly recommend.

This place is full of matrix machines and free motion machines. It's an unusual combination to have Taiwanese machines (only Matrix brand) in an American gym. In particular, I know that the machine price is not cheap, but rather more expensive. Just because it's unusual doesn't mean it's bad. On the contrary, it is very good. Machines with enough capacity make exercising more enjoyable. I enjoyed visiting every day for a new experience. I was impressed by the cleanliness and excellent facilities. I recommend this place to everyone and have no regrets.

I have been interested in getting into a yoga practice, but to be completely honest, have been turned off at a couple of local studios where everyone already felt advanced and the instructors didn’t feel especially interested in helping beginners get off the ground. This time I arrived with the added challenge of being a few months into recovery from a major accident, yet wanting to challenge myself. This is hands-down the most welcoming yoga studio I have visited to date. Stephanie took the time to show me around, from the prop room, with explanations of how each could help during class, to a relaxing room with a selection of personal care products if someone is going straight from, say, yoga class to brunch downstairs at Kaya. The namesake lounge when you enter is beautifully decorated, relaxing and a place where people gather before or after class. It’s clear that there is a sense of community and friendship here. It’s a beautiful space with lots of exposed brick and that industrial Strip District feel. As for class, I went on Sunday morning and it was full! A great way to start the week. I really liked their Vinyasa Krama method of adding pieces to the sequence so that by the time it starts to flow, you’ve seen it all before and nothing feels overwhelming. You also have a sense of whether you needed to modify anything to suit your particular needs along the way and what worked for you, so that you can do the same throughout the flow. I have never been to a yoga studio that felt so genuinely welcoming and happy to meet everyone just where they are, whether that’s the most basic beginner or someone who wants to push the edges of their capabilities. Lots of diversity among class participants shows you this is a place that is welcoming and inclusive. Just come as you are with an open mind and ready to work on whatever you hope to get from your practice. I will be back!

I have tried a variety of classes at Om Lounge Yoga and love them in their own ways! Yoga sculpt was super fun for getting a good sweat in and the other are great for mind and body connection. The studio is very welcoming and you can feel the positive energy. If you are interested in seeing videos from the classes check out my reels on @alaina_wodarek !

I highly recommend taking a class at the OM Lounge in the Strip District. The studio is absolutely gorgeous with the perfect mixture of edgy, calm and spiritual. All of the teachers are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. After only going to a few classes, I was greeted by name and they do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome. The way the classes are structured make them suitable for all levels from beginner to expert. Each teacher has their own vibe but the classes follow the same structure so you will gain familiarity with the direction of your flow that is different every time with challenges and surprises along the way.

I’ve practiced yoga for nearly 20 years at over 200 studios internationally. The Om Lounge is in a league of its own. While recovering from a disabling injury a few years ago, I decided to try a new studio in my neighborhood, The Om Lounge. When I walked in the door, I felt immediately at home. It is the most welcoming community of talented teachers lead by the heart and soul of the Founder and Owner. Every single class is thoughtfully designed to work with every body, while you become in-tune with your own body. That is the essence of yoga. Since joining two years ago, I’ve attended 25-30 yoga classes per month at The Om Lounge. I’ve watched how new students are treated when they enter the studio. Teachers and staff guide them through the studio and ask questions to set expectations for a meaningful and safe practice. Teachers always offer modifications for poses and flows to make yoga accessible to everyone. They also encourage students to find modification on their own because no one knows what is happening in someone else’s body. That seems like a pretty obvious statement to most mentally competent adults. Segue to next paragraph…. I never write public reviews. I was inspired to write this one because of a recent review by a new student claiming to be a disabled fitness instructor. It was a bizarre attack on a studio beloved by the Pittsburgh yoga community. I was in class with this student. I saw her strange behavior and I observed her interaction with the teacher and staff. She made other students feel uncomfortable. Her review is more than inaccurate, it’s dangerous nonsense. Claiming that people could be harmed by attending an Om Lounge class is the furthest thing from reality. The Om Lounge was my recovery and my physical therapy. I’ve watched countless students experience similar physical triumphs at the studio. I’ve watched the owner devote time, attention and genuine care for every student in her classes. Please do not allow the nonsensical ramblings of one odd person dissuade you from experiencing this incredible studio. Just read all of the other reviews.

Despite being on the 1month unlimited explore package for which I paid $134, their late cancel policy and missed class fee is ridiculous $20, sometimes charged wrongly even if I did make it to last few classes. They will charge you at any time. I will be canceling the remaining classes. Also their website can be glitchy tough to sign up or cancel, sometimes you get double booked. Edit: In response to your comment, you certainly know how to twist facts to suit your needs and to make yourself look like you are right and the customer is wrong. I was late on 3 occasions all within 5 minutes. Not my fault if I'm just waiting outside and the door is locked and no one is available to check me in because 3-4 minutes late. I already paid for the Monday's missed class (jul 29) as it showed up on my account right before Wednesday's class so you were double charging me today again.
