Very happy with their service. It is always clean and workout equipment is always working. Everyone is very friendly. This gym has a family environment that caters to all ages. It even has scholarships for membership if you are a low income family. I have been a member since January of 2024 and I am so pleased that I renewed my membership today!

I love this location of the Y, the daycare girls are so sweet and play with the kids. The trainers are always helpful with any questions or just a chat and always walking around cleaning which I appreciate. Even when it’s crazy busy around 5 I always find a place to workout.

The coaches and staff members are very friendly and do a great job encouraging the young players, especially when they’re upset. The clinic sessions are organized and provide players with opportunity to practice different skills. They build the confidence of the athletes and provide a fun experience!

The staff at this YMCA are incredibly friendly. Have interacted with the staff at the front desk, weight area, and pool area. Lifeguards are attentive and friendly. Love that we can make reservations for the pool and various classes on the app. Makes seeing what is available easy. Looking forward to taking more classes here in the future.

We love the friendly youth sports leagues, the variety of classes and camps, and we especially love the twice monthly Parents' Night Out. We can drop off our 2 boys for 4 hours for $50 and go on a real dinner date! The kids love spending time at the Y Kids Club when we work out or take a class. Plus, the park across the street is always a hit. Absolutely a wonderful place for families.

Love the YMCAs in San Antonio! I always feel welcome at the YMCA at O.P. Schnabel and have made a lot of friends here since becoming a member about four years ago. The group exercise classes are great and the selection of youth activities is good also. Has been a wonderful place for my whole family.

My son absolutely did not want to take swim lessons. During his first lesson with Ella at the YMCA at O.P. Schnabel Park , he told me he wished the lesson was longer and asked if he could take lessons every summer. I'm so grateful that Ella makes learning so much fun and less scary for him. He actually looks forward to it now! Five stars!

If you were thinking about signing up to this overpriced gym thinking it will offer something exclusive and be “worth it” think again. I’ve been a member since 2014 and the way they treat members has just continued to go downhill. Especially after COVID changing their hours from 24//7 which it used to be, to treating guest with attitude and showing no consideration for its members. Firstly they have group training all throughout the day and week and take up most of the squat racks you thought you were signing up to take as Amat and not have to wait for like every other gym. They blast loud music on a Portable speaker and now today say they’re closing the sauna early but didn’t send out an email or any kind of notice that it would be closing early, for someone who liked to have a set schedule and routine why am I paying such a high dollar amount if you guys aren’t going to be accommodating in these situations and leave the sauna on for 30 more minutes before you close? All I was told was a very insincere “sorry”. There are some great staff here however there are days such as today where it’s a complete 180 usually amongst the younger staff. Terrible service from used to be a premium gym and experience.

Great gym. Very very busy and a little crowded. The machines are somewhat dated for a luxury gym but the staff is amazing and have had no bad experiences as far as gym culture. Showers/locker rooms/pickleball/recovery equipment/pool/sauna/classes really make this gym worth it so only sign up if you see yourself using those. The actual workout equipment is mediocre at best.

I just looked through negative reviews about cleanliness and staff, and I have to say that I completely disagree with these. I was looking for a change in my lifestyle and wanted to go to a gym that made me feel good to be there and this place delivers. I've been going since early this year and have been satisfied with everything I've used aside from a couple of hiccups with childcare. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and I'm greeted with a smile every day by anyone I pass by. They have such an awesome variety of machines, classes, and workout equipment for any level of exercise. It does get crowded sometimes, but it's never caused me an issue. I'm constantly seeing people walking around keeping things clean, which is great to see. I also want to give a HUGE shout out to my trainer, Alan, who has been the source of my motivation for months. He's super friendly, extremely helpful, very flexible, and does an amazing job with not scaring you off with too much at once. I wouldn't still be coming if I hadn't met him, so THANK YOU. If you are looking for a trainer, I'd suggest Alan or Emma, who I've also worked with and is awesome! I won't be changing gyms any time soon, so thank you Lifetime!

The customer service is on point. Recently, the manager and two other staff members helped me with a very confusing issue with my membership (not their fault, but mine) over the course of several days. Helping me work that out deserves five stars alone. I have encountered some prickly staff members in other areas of the gym, but overall, the experience my family and I have had since we joined has been incredible for our overall wellbeing and our relationships with each other.

I've been to a few Life Time gyms lately and this one is definitely towards the top of the list. Clean, have a lot activities for families and kids, the pickelball court is great and indoor/outdoor pool is nice as well.

I've been attending Burn for about three months now, and as a dad of two, I can honestly say it has made a big difference in my fitness routine. Finding time to work out can be challenging with a busy family life, but Burn has made it easier for me. Here are the main reasons I decided to join: Complimentary Daycare – I don’t have to worry about finding a babysitter or coordinating with my wife. Burn offers daycare, so I can focus on my workout while knowing my kids are well taken care of. Quick, Effective Workouts – The 45-minute sessions are efficient and leave me feeling like I’ve worked every muscle. After just a month, I started seeing noticeable changes in my body. Free Nutrition Consultations – Burn goes beyond just workouts by offering free consultations to help you optimize your nutrition, which has been incredibly valuable for my overall fitness goals. Supportive Team – The Burn team is amazing—welcoming, motivating, and always there to encourage me throughout the session. They really push me to do my best, which makes a huge difference. In short, Burn has made it easier for me to prioritize my health while balancing my family life, and I’m already seeing great results.

This place is everything!! It’s challenging, inviting, and a community like no other! After spending years trying all sorts of boot camps, workouts, and gyms this is the only place both me and my kids love. The trainers are top notch and become your friends and your biggest cheerleaders. The front desk is always there with a warm welcome and the ladies in childcare are the best! If that’s not enough, through the workouts and the trainers support I’ve lost 30lbs, 6% body fat and can move better at 36 than at 26, no lie. Stop looking for the right gym, this is it!!! 👏🏻👏🏻

Always a great workout! Trainers and staff are kind & helpful. The kids club option is nice too when the littles have to tag along. This place was highly recommended & the workouts do not disappoint. + the various class times really are helpful with my teaching schedule! Early enough to go before or late enough to go after work.
